Das Dove's Nest wurde für einen romantischen Kurzurlaub für Paare entworfen und verfügt über 1 Schlafzimmer mit Kingsize-Bett, hochwertiger Bettwäsche und Gewölbedecke. Maßgefertigte Hickory-Schränke, Hickory-Böden und maßgefertigte Zedernholzmöbel aus amerikanischer Produktion schmücken die Kabine. Sie können sich auf den bequemen Lazy Boy-Möbeln in dem tollen Raum entspannen und den atemberaubenden, raumhohen Stein-Gaskamin genießen. Das Badezimmer verfügt über einen großen Whirlpool und eine ebenerdige Dusche. Die Küche ist mit Granitoberflächen und GE Slate HE-Geräten ausgestattet und bietet alles, was Sie für die Zubereitung köstlicher Gourmetgerichte benötigen. Auf der überdachten Veranda können Sie bei jedem Wetter im Freien grillen.

Die Kabine ist 925 Quadratmeter groß, rollstuhlgerecht mit einer Betonunterlage und einer Rampe zur Veranda. Es verfügt über 1 Schlafzimmer, 1 Bad, bietet Platz für bis zu 2 Erwachsene und 2-3 kleine Kinder. Die Kabine ist mit allem ausgestattet, was Sie für einen angenehmen Aufenthalt benötigen, einschließlich Dish Network, Frontier Wi-Fi und Sprint Hotspot. - Die Probleme, die wir mit dem Frontier-Service zu Beginn hatten, wurden behoben, und der Service funktioniert seit mehreren Monaten hervorragend. Great getaway

My wife and I were looking for a location to take a mid winter break and to enjoy an outdoor activity. Berkeley Springs fit the bill with miles of hiking trails and the mineral springs to fill the days. We chose Doves Nest as a place to stay from pictures and descriptive information we found on the internet. Everything about the cabin was first class and our host, Janie, could not have been more accomodating

Cozy and restful sanctuary

We had a wonderful weekend visiting the Dove's Nest. Everything was organized, clean, and so easy. From communication with Janie to a fully stocked kitchen and the comfort of the home. It rained and snowed while we were there, but we took so much rest and solace in lounging around the house and enjoying the view out of the front porch. It was truly a relaxing weekend away and we will be better parents for all the thought and kind gestures of the hosts. Excellent stay, no notes!

Beautiful Cabin in Woods

Dove's Next welcomed us into a warm and comfortable home! The cabin is beautifully decorated, quality built and well-maintained. I do not think we've ever stayed at a mountain cabin that has been so clean or well-stocked! The hosts have anticipated every little detail that might be needed by guests. They have added a lot of "extra touches" in the cabin that made it very inviting and cozy. We loved our stay there!!!

This cabin was AMAZING! Everything was so clean and I have never stayed in a rental that was so well stocked. Picture Perfect Couple Get-Away

I spent a weekend here with my wife, our first weekend away since our daughter was born. The property was absolutely everything we hoped for. A warm fireplace, a roomy corner tub, warm blankets, a nice big bed, and the perfect living space for a couple. Completely private and secluded in the woods; the only nearby property is the other property they own and the two are oriented so that you only see the other when coming and going. Janie was incredibly communicative and hospitable throughout the whole process. She even left some fresh eggs for us to enjoy. We hope to return here and I give it my highest endorsement.

Great Cabin for Anniversary

Anniversary get away

Nice clean property, very well stocked Kitchen. Close to hiking trails, and nice relaxing tub for afterwards. Tough to get in to the couple of nice restaurants in Berkley Springs, suggest calling ahead of your trip if looking for a fine dinning experience.

Hello and welcome to the Dove's Nest.

I'm Janie and I manage the Dove's Nest and Buck Haven for Cy who is the builder and owner of both cabins. Cy also built our home and we couldn't be any happier with it. We are neighbors and the best of friends.

Cy has been building custom homes in the Berkeley Springs area for almost 40 years. He is great with a hammer and nails but doesn't know how to turn on a computer so that is where I pick up for him.

I live a half mile away from The Dove's Nest and Cy lives about a mile away so if you need anything or have a problem we can quickly respond to your needs.

Cy and Janie both love living in Berkeley Springs just down the road from the Dove's Nest. The cabin is located in the historic spa community of Berkeley Springs which is one of the best known art-filled communities on the east coast. Gently nestled into the West Virginia Mountains our getaway is located about 90 minutes from the Washington/Baltimore metropolitan area it is an easy travel from the BWI and IAD airports as well as our regional airport HGR in Hagerstown Maryland.

With close by warm mineral springs, galleries, antique shops, massage therapist, holistic therapist, live music, theater and a year round schedule of festivals it makes this the prefect vacation getaway.

The Dove's Nest is two miles from Cacapon Resort State Park which boast beautiful trails and overlooks, golfing, hiking, biking, fishing, horseback riding, a lake for summer swimming, summer paddle boating and summer canoeing. The C&O Canal Rails-to-Trails with a paved and dirt trails for biking and jogging runs along the Potomac River (the closet entries are in Hancock MD and Paw Pay WV about 15 miles from the cottage); additionally there are near-by Civil War sites include Fort Frederick State Park, Harpers Ferry National Historical Park, Antietam National Battle Field and Gettysburg National Military Park Pennsylvania.

The Dove's Nest is handicap accessible. There is a ramp to the porch with no stairs to enter the cabin. The bathroom has a walk-in shower with two grip bars and a handheld shower wond. There is also a grip bar at the toilet. We have two styles of bath chairs and elevated toilet seats, an adjustable wall attachable shower head holder and a Gorilla Grip shower mat available on request.
