We sure enjoyed this cute cozy cabin!
My husband, teen, and I stayed here for a weekend in September. We did not utilize the bunkhouse, as we did not need to.
He enjoyed fishing... caught many fish off the dock & the boat landing (and also up North on the Brule River).
He didn't catch anything the first night, but between Saturday night and Sunday morning - he caught : 2 large mouth bass, about a dozen good sized sunfish, and 2 northern Pike.
My daughter and I enjoyed hiking nearby at the Trego Nature Trail, and the Trego Lake Trail.
It rained off and on during the weekend, but we still enjoyed our time there.
Karen, the owner, was responsive to our questions, and offered suggestions when we asked about local places to hike.
We didn't use the pedal boat, but DID take advantage of the firewood to have a bonfire one night. My only suggestion would be to maybe cover up the firewood? It was hard to get it going after it rained all day.
plenty of towels, blankets, dishes, utensils, etc... Appreciated the supply of spices, aluminum foil, sandwich bags, etc... I also was thankful for 2 large fans at the cabin - because I cannot sleep without white noise!
The water pressure was great!
My teenager slept on the pull-out futon couch, and thought it was very comfy. She said the Internet worked good. We did have to reset it once, but it worked well overall. She also enjoyed playing darts, and putting together a puzzle she found there.
Thanks for a great stay!
