Return Visitor

This is the second consecutive year we have stayed in this unit and I can safely say we will return again. We have stayed at the Palms many times and the location/view in unit is just unmatched. The amount you pay for an entire condo with all the amenities is a total bargain compared to a hotel/resort and we love all the extra space. Having the option to do laundry and pack up lunches for the beach is wonderful, the full kitchen is well equipped, free (reserved) parking to come as you please is a breeze, and everything you need for the beach is there. You can see both the pool and ocean from the lanai, and most everything in Wailea is walkable. Highly recommend.

Fantastic views

We’ve stayed in a number of units at the Palms and really liked the Reno’s in this unit. Spent a lot of time on the Lanai enjoying the garden and ocean views. Paul was great to deal with making sure we were comfortable with the unit. Looking forward to coming back!!

We love The Palms!

We have stayed at the Palms for a few of our Maui visits and have always enjoyed it. We liked having the two bedroom and oceanview. Unit was clean and enjoyed the spacious en-suite with oceanview as well. The unit could use some TLC as some of the blinds and slider screens were difficult to operate, and consider solid doors on second bedroom.

Great views

The Palms at Wailea is a lovely property with meticulously kept grounds and a pristine pool area. The condo was exactly as described, very clean and had everything we needed to enjoy our vacation. This unit has one of the best ocean views on the property and is close (but not too close!) to the pool. We would definitely stay here again!

Clean, safe, stunning view

Wonderful clean, quiet and well-equipped property with a stunning view, and the most friendly, supportive and flexible host. Closed community incl. nighttime security patrol makes you feel extra-safe in the already wonderfully clean and beautiful neighbourhood. Everything was exactly as promised.

Stay at the Palms 1504. Jan 20-30, 2024

Overall the place was very clean, well stocked. View was excellent, got to see many whales from the Lanai. It is very nice to have a BBQ at your unit. Pool, hot tub and grounds are well taken care of, very quiet. Communicating with the host was good because there was a glitch with the code to get into the unit and the lock box was not really secured.

Whales from the Lanai

With our binoculars at the ready we observed the humpbacks spouting, jumping and showing off their tails. Maalaea Harbor is an entertaining view. We enjoyed morning coffee and our meals at the table on the lanai. The bed was super comfy. The unit is at a prime location at the resort. Very quiet.

Fantastic condo

Had a great stay at a fantastic condo. Great location to all Wailea beaches. Be sure to try Ahihi bay for snorkeling but wear booties. Condo has everything you need, pool and hot tub short walk and we always had other travelers to share stories with. Mahalo.

Enjoyed our second stay at this property as much as the first. Great location for everything in Wailea. Spacious unit with incredible sunset views. Close to the pool and reserved parking for the unit. The owner comunicates very well.

Great Location!

We have stayed at The Palms many times and this condo's location can't be beat. You can see the pool but aren't right above it, and that ocean view from the lanai is simply stunning. The kitchen has everything you need, my kids loved having separate (twin) beds, all beach necessities are here (Smashball was another kid/husband favorite). We had a wonderful trip and can't wait to return!

Just Beautiful!

We had a wonderful short week here in Wailea. Although we did not pick the best week for weather, it was very windy, and then it rained a lot! But the condo made up for all of that. We had some amazing sunsets over the stunning view of the ocean! The condo was perfect.

Beautiful condo complex with great views

We had a great week long stay here in July. Plenty of space (more than pics show) with nice and comfortable furnishings. Well stocked kitchen and bathrooms. The complex is great. Really close to beach (15 minute walk or quick drive with plenty of parking) and restaurants/shops. There is a big outdoor deck with a table for 6, and the views are really incredible. The lack of AC isn’t much of an issue because it’s super windy in the afternoons, and the nights cool off nicely. The condo does need a little TLC. Several minor maintenance type issues (light bulbs out, kitchen drawer broken, a couple windows that are tough to open, etc) but nothing that affected the quality of our stay much.

Everything we hoped for

My favorite part of this property was sitting on the balcony drinking my morning coffee and enjoying the view. The location is perfect—in addition to having a great view, it's close to parking, a short walk to the community pool, and a short drive to the beach and the Shops at Wailea. The unit is really spacious, and we appreciated all the amenities, especially the beach chairs, towels, and cooler. Air conditioning in the master bedroom was a huge bonus as the unit gets pretty toasty during the day, even with all blinds drawn, so we used the two portable fans and ceiling fans. It cools quickly as soon as the afternoon tradewinds pick up, and then it's back to the balcony to enjoy the sunset. We'll be back!

Wonderful location and value

This condo is spacious and comfortable with a newly renovated kitchen and huge lanai. The owner was really helpful and responsive when the washing machine broke and had it replaced as soon as he could. It’s a short walk to the beach We’d love to rent again.

This place was wonderful! The apartment was immaculate when we arrived and there were extra little details that let us know the host really cares about the property. Gorgeous!

This property is just beautiful. The remodel is fantastic with gorgeous floors, countertops, decor, very nice kitchen and baths. The view is better than in the pictures! The pool was clean and a nice refuge from the hot summer heat. Wailea is just an incredible area to stay. We loved it. Paul was amazing by communicating with us.

Superb location and excellent property to stay!

We (a family of four including two small kids of 6 yr-olds) stayed at this property for 1 week. The communication with the owner (Pau) was smooth and prompt. The key was missing from the lockbox (the cleaning service forgot to leave the key inside, the reason for 3 stars for check-in process), so there was some delay to get inside the property, but Paul came to let us in although it was very late at night. The beach is within walking distance (about 10-15 min) for adults. But small kids would find it is too far to walk. So we usually drove to the beach. The nearest beach is Keawakapu and Keawakapu Wailea-Ekahi. Parking for the Keawakapu Wailea-Ekahi is limited, but we did not have issues finding an empty parking spot in the morning. We mainly used Keawakapu Wailea-Ekahi beach, and it was a great beach (not crowded). But locals seem to use the beach in the morning to walk or jog with dogs. I do not mind see dogs on beaches, but if you do not like it, it might be something to consider. The property itself was spotless. We found many amenities (beach towels, soap, hair drier, kitchen gadgets and utensils, etc.). There were even beach chairs available for us to use. The community where the property is located is very well maintained. Quite and family-friendly. The community pool is on a smaller side but well kept and clean. The view from the balcony was excellent. The ocean and mountainside are clearly visible without much obstruction. The picture you see from Vrbo is accurate. The property also has a grill, and we used it multiple times, which was excellent as we did not have to share it with others. It can get very hot during the day without AC in the living room. I hope there was an AC in the living room as well, where we spent most of the time during the day, if not outside. Overall, I would definitely recommend this property to anyone looking for a place to stay in Maui.

Excellent location with ocean view

We had an outstanding time at this location - it was well stocked (beach toys, kitchen utensils, etc.), in close proximity to all kinds of local activities, and our kids especially enjoyed the pool and hot tub. I enjoyed coffee every morning on the lanai with birdsong, ocean views, and gorgeous landscaping. We hope to be back soon - thanks, Paul!
