Great stay

We enjoyed our time at Braemar. It was nice to be so close to the beach. Our unit was on the same floor as the pool and game room so that was very convenient. Overall clean place but some vents were a little dusty. I would stay again!

Would stay again... but have some feedback

The condo was nicely decorated with a well-stocked kitchen. Beds were comfortable and the unit was quiet EXCEPT for EVERY morning (around 8am) when the trash was picked up (dumpsters are unfortunately right outside the unit). The door to the unit was a serious struggle to get unlocked (we would all take turns to see who could get it) - they would really benefit by changing to a numeric code lock or getting new locks in general. However, even with the hiccups, I do recommend this unit. It is super close to the beach and lots of great food and activities.

Great weekend getaway

We had a good stay at this property. Check in was smooth. We have to go to Vacasa office across the street to pick up the package and then check into the office of the building to pick up the parking pass. We had 2 parkings pass (1 assigned with number and one unassigned). The beach is walking distance. Lots of restaurant and AYCE crabs places around. We have a good stay. The bathroom could use some updating but overall ok. We would stay here again.

Check in process was not clearly communicated. We never received pool passes. WiFi was not working until 2pm day after check-in and this took at least 3 hours of my time to trouble shoot. Otherwise, house was very clean and well furnished.

Couch-sandy, covered in hair Showers-moldy (tile and shower curtains) Kitchen-Dirty cabinets inside and out Patio- Dirty, cigar butts, ashes all over Keys to door- after the 5th key they gave me, it finally worked. Building maintenance crew had to unlock the door many times. Their key worked immediately. While the unit is old and really needs upgrades, the cleanliness of a rental unit should not suffer from that. Vacasa was non responsive to get unit cleaned timely. Waited almost a full day to get someone out there. I spoke with 4 different representatives with Vacasa about the dirty unit and that I wanted to be called when the cleaning crew got there. They didn't call and more importantly didn't really clean the unit the second time they were in there. Service and cleanliness were awful. Vacasa should start paying attention to their many 1 star reviews.

Convenient Location

This rental was located in a great location. It offered easy access to the beach and there were several other amenities (grocery, food, drink) available in the immediate area. The room itself was...okay. the rental is old and in need of updates and repair. The key was extremely difficult to use and it was very hard to get in and out of our room. Be prepared to pay additional fees.

Filthy!!

This unit looks nice in the pictures but it is filthy! Dust caked on all vents and baseboards. Bathrooms needed wiped down when we arrived. Gunk spots on the bathroom walls. Sand and crumbs everywhere.. Also, the Braemar property manager is terrible! She was very difficult and did not care about our stay because we booked with Vacasa. We had read the bad reviews but expected they would have given it a proper cleaning. But that was not the case.

Good stay

We had a great week in Ocean City. Two adult children + two parents. The location was awesome. Close to the beach and everything else. Close enough that we could run up to the room for snacks midday. Well appointed condo but showed some minor signs of age. Bathrooms were nice but have not had the same attention as the rest of the condo. All in working order and fine. Loved the little deck for our morning coffee and the sunrise. Kitchen was well-supplied but lacked dish towels. It had everything else we needed. There is a locker for your beach things but there is no lock. Also, the lock to the condo was tricky until you got the hang of it. Lots of jiggling. It was a nice quiet condo. Didn’t hear any neighbors and enjoyed the peacefulness. Managing company was excellent to work with. Very welcoming and helpful with all of our needs. Of note - There is only ONE parking spot. We suggested they update their property listing. Regardless, the management company was great at helping us figure out what to do with our second car (excellent customer service). All in all, it was a great week of relaxation and good family time. Thanks!

Disappointed

The keys/locks were a challenge. The manager at the Braemar thought they were the wrong keys. We had to really jerk them around a lot to make them work. The appliances were disgusting and old. Anytime we used the microwave for a matter of seconds, the kitchen smelled like it was on fire. We had to call maintenance to fix the freezer because it was leaking and ruined half of our food in the refrigerator. The overhead light in the kitchen flickered like a strobe light unless the dimmer was at its brightest. The burners on the stove would occasionally work. It is an electric stove that is so old that the burners don't get red with heat...you have to feel them. One day only one burner worked. The washer and dryer were clearly the original appliances. They were loud and gross. The bowls in the kitchen had a layer of grease on them. The owners of this property should be ashamed of themselves. One week's rent that I just paid could easily replace all the appliances. I used to own a property at Sunset Island and I had respect for my renters. The owners of this property clearly don't have respect for their renters. I would not rent this property again unless it were completely updated. The bright side of this experience was Vacasa. They provide good service. The location is great, but not worth it.

Great beach vacation

This was a great condo right on the beach. It was so nice to be able to walk down the stairs and straight to the beach. Our boys enjoyed the game room and the pool was nice. The check in process was a bit of a scavenger hunt. 2 different offices and a lock box. As for the condo itself, it was the perfect size for 4 teenage boys and 2 adults. The drip pans on the stove were pretty dirty and we had to wash some dishes before we used them. The shower in the bedroom with 2 large beds was kind of dirty with mildew in the corners. Even if there were a few small complaints, this is a great condo in a perfect location.

Just okay clean

the property was great just a condo was not exactly clean. the fridge had a nagging water leak that i mentioned that we didn't want service in for but they will fix before the next renter. The deck was filthy, the restrooms were just okay. the pots and pans were plentiful but old and well used. the door locks are horrible and electronic would be so much better. I like the décor and the attempt, its just old. Perfect location!

Nice

The property, condo, location and beach were great for those with children or a couple just looking for a calming vacation away from the boardwalk locations. My family loved it. The condo was beautiful although the ceiling in the hall bath looks to need repairs. Only slight issues during our stay…although we found the key to the condo in the lockbox, we were not left the second key to the building in the lockbox but I reached out to vacasa and they worked fast to get me a new one. Also, I was not aware we needed pool passes for the pool and could not find the pool passes anywhere the first day until I found them stuffed in a kitchen drawer so make sure you search ☺️ I think a welcome letter with everything needed for accessing everything at the property during our stay and where we could locate them would’ve been helpful. We also had a tropical storm on our second to last night and the WiFi for the condo went out and we could not figure out how to turn it back on. We managed but a number to call to fix that would’ve been nice.

Perfect for a Family Getaway

We really enjoyed our stay here! The condo was clean and fresh when we arrived, and check in was easy. The kitchen was well stocked with pots, pans, baking sheets, utensils, and there's a grocery store a few blocks away, so you really don't need to go out for every meal. There were books and lots of board games to stay busy on a rainy day (although we lucked out and had nice weather the whole time.) Being on the second floor was super convenient to the pool, game room, and access to the beach. Can't wait to come back!

Great location to the beach!

This place is a quick walk to the beach! Beautiful side view of the ocean. The living room is very spacious and nice. Great decor! Bathrooms could use some updating and a few small items need repaired but I loved the place and would stay there again.

Arrived and could not get in because the front door lock would not work after traveling for hours we stood in the hallway fighting with a lock!!! Once we got in the hallway bathroom door was locked and not cleaned gross!!! the kitchen light was strobing, the cabinets, knobs and drawers were disgusting and the sectional had food crumbs all over it and behind it!!!

Amazing place

I will start with how great our stay was. We were disappointed the fridge did not work, Got there Thursday to a non working fridge and did not get it fix until Saturday (threw away some food) They were great responding and sending someone but they did not had an extra key as stated. The door is hard to open (twist left). BUT besides that....it got 5 stars cause location was awesome. The place was very clean and super cute. We really did enjoy our stay and would love to come back!!! Thanks.

Nice mini vacation in OCMD!

We loved this property! Great having the room so close to the pool & steps from the beach! Only had trouble with the keys/lockbox. Wish there were at least 2 sets of keys to accommodate multiple families going in different directions! But overall condo was nicely decorated & felt spacious! Great place for our mini vacation! 😎

The process is an absolute disaster, but the room is pretty nice

The room is pretty nice, but I would never rent through this agency again. 2.5 days of pure nightmare issues and almost no help. Air conditioning went out before we got there and wasn't repaired until late on our 2nd night (only stayed 2 nights), received no refund. Door locks are terrible and some guests decided to not even stay in the room. Responses to questions are extremely delayed. I purchased the room as a present and ending up leaving embarassed. Just find an alternative.

This condo is way overpriced for what you get. It should be in the $200-$300 range per night.

We arrived at the condo right around 4, got the key from the lock box, placed the key in the lock and NOTHING. After a few minutes of unsuccessfully trying to unlock the door we went to the office. The gentleman there explained there was a trick to using the key. He followed us to the condo and after less than a minute he sighed and said, “actually there is something wrong, you might wanna let them know about this and have a locksmith check it out.” Before I go on with our complaints I would like to point out the positives. The place appeared to have fresh paint, new flooring, newer furniture and was for the most part clean. This building was opened in the 70s and many parts of it still reflect that. We can only speak for the condo we stayed in and the building in general. Our condo had some very outdated features including the bathrooms, kitchen, washer/dryer, front door lock (lol). The other issues we had: One electrical socket in the living room was hanging out about 2 inches from the wall which is a big safety issue. Of the 3 sliding doors to the balcony we could only get 1 to open while the others kept coming off the track. We are guessing the cleaning company had issues with the sliding doors as well explaining why the balcony was full of sand and the glass wasn’t properly cleaned. The Directv in the bedroom didn’t work. Error code listed instructed to call in for a resolution, but account information was needed. One of the beds had a good amount of sand in the sheets. As for the building, needs massive upgrades. The game room and gym literally look as if they have all the original features when this building was opened. For the price of this condo we expected a much better experience. Some profits needs to be reinvested here for sure. That goes for the condo owner and the building itself. We will not stay here in the future. Some additional positive features were the pool and the location being very close to the beach. I did call and report our issues. The gentleman I spoke with was really nice, but he was either a really fast typer/writer or was blowing me off. Sounded like a very general corporate apology with promises to get things fixed, but never heard anything further. The biggest issue would be us not knowing if we would be able to get back in the condo at night. Getting the lock opened would on average take 30-60 seconds trying to find the sweet spot. Hope this helps the next tenant have a better experience.
