Absolutely Amazing...

So we spent Family Weekend in the cottage and had an AMAZING time!!! We were treated to some huge snowfalls and perfect conditions for outdoor fun, and the place was everything we could have hoped for!! Lots of space, beautifully decorated, stocked with everything we needed, warm fireplaces and a casual setting. Laura was SUPER easy to deal with - quick response to questions, checked into make sure we were doing well and accommodating to our dog!!! So many great activities around to enjoy close by but also some great cozy spots to read or play games. HIGHLY recommend this cottage to anyone who wants to get away and enjoy some relaxation and scenery.My only complaint is that I had to leave!!! :)

Relaxing Winter getaway.

Seamless check in experience and great communication with Laura. A thoughtfully designed and well-appointed rustic, chalet-style cottage offers great panoramic views of the lake along with the large windows on all sides making you feel like you're surrounded by nature. A much needed, relaxing retreat that we enjoyed along with bringing in the New Year. We didn't want to leave.

A Magical Hilltop Stay

Our family had an incredible vacation week at Laura's property. The amenities were all as described and the thoughtful touches throughout the property truly gives it a feeling a home. I cannot say enough about the quality of the beds and linens, as sleep is incredibly important to me while on vacation and the beds were hotel quality. It is truly a fully stocked kitchen with all the condiments covering everything you may have left behind. The views are amazing, as is the bird watching if you are a fan, my husband listed dozens of species we did not expect to find while having morning coffee. It is an invigorating walk down to the dock, but lots of space to plan the day at the water. Laura was very responsive and was great to work with. We highly recommend.

Just minutes from Kennisis Lake Marina and hiking trails, this is the ideal spot for a peaceful, nature-filled getaway.

This property is very private and peaceful with the most spectacular commanding views. It is very well treed and so that you don't need to see our neighbours and feel like you have a 1/3 acre cottage resort all to yourself. This means that you can have that feeling of finally being away from it all and will have the privacy and serene surroundings to feel that you can exhale all your stresses away and relax into your well-deserved peaceful cottage holiday. (This is so important, many other cottages are built right next to their neighbours and you don't have that visual privacy that we are so fortunate to enjoy at our Kennisis Lake cottage)

- The sunrise looking out from the cabin over the lake is breathtaking...really. Photos do not do it justice. TIP: Best viewing is from the upper deck AND The upper floor bedroom… worth waking up early for.

- Also the upper deck is the perfect place to sit out on a quiet starry night to enjoy a glass of wine, endless view of the twinkling sky, and great conversation with loved ones.

- Two large wraparound cottage decks mean you can enjoy sun or shade all day long with a commanding and breathtaking view overlooking the lake as far as the eye can see

- Fire pit patio with oversized bright red Muskoka chairs and romantic bistro string lighting overhead. Here you will have a jaw-dropping view of the nighttime stars. Firewood with our compliments is there for you to enjoy

- Your own Hammock Village tucked away beneath the trees for reading, conversation, blissful afternoon naps
