Mit Ausnahme der Wände und des größten Teils des Bodens ist alles in dieser Wohnung brandneu. Von den Schränken, Geräten, Bettwäsche und Küchenartikeln bis hin zu Matratze, Möbeln und Farbe ist alles neu. Wir haben es mit einem kleinen Teil unserer Kunstsammlung aus Mexiko und Guatemala dekoriert.

Das Casa 4 Vientos ist ein großes Haus in der Nähe der Delphinstatuen an der Playa la Ropa und verfügt über ein eigenes Apartment im ersten Stock. Es verfügt über einen eigenen Eingang, eine überdachte Terrasse, einen angelegten Vorgarten und einen eigenen Parkplatz. Obwohl es sich im ersten Stock befindet, sind es 13 Stufen bis zum Eingang der Wohnung. Es ist anderthalb Häuserblocks vom Wasser entfernt und reicht aus, um unsere Paddle-Boards täglich ohne steilen Aufstieg nach unten zu tragen.

Das große Apartment mit einem Schlafzimmer und einem Bad und Queensize-Bett verfügt über eine gut ausgestattete Küche mit Kühlschrank / Gefrierfach, Gasherd mit vier Brennern, Backofen, Mikrowelle und Kaffeemaschine sowie viel Ablagefläche. Wir sind Köche und haben versucht, die Küche mit den Dingen auszustatten, mit denen wir kochen müssen, und es gibt Service für vier von allem. Es gibt einen 32-Zoll-Smart-TV und einen dedizierten Router mit KOSTENLOSEM 50-Mbit / s-WLAN-Service. Die Fenster sind komplett abgeschirmt und es gibt einen Safe.

Die Bettwäsche wird einmal pro Woche gewechselt und die Handtücher werden zweimal wöchentlich gewechselt. Die Reinigung des Apartments erfolgt wöchentlich. Wir enthalten Ihr Trinkwasser, Spülmittel und Toilettenpapier.

Der wöchentliche Gärtner pflegt die Außenanlagen. Sie haben einen großen, sicheren, haustierfreundlichen Vorgarten. Der Hof wurde mit tropischen Pflanzen bepflanzt, hauptsächlich mit Heliconias und Gingern, die wundervolle Blumen liefern. Natürlich gibt es auch einige große Kokospalmen, eine absolute Notwendigkeit in den Tropen. Als zusätzlichen Bonus haben wir kürzlich ein Zanka Tiki geschnitzt!

Es gibt eine große Klimaanlage und drei Deckenventilatoren mit Beleuchtung. Es gibt Leselampen an jedem Nachttisch, mehrere Sitzbereiche und eine private überdachte Terrasse direkt vor der Haustür mit Sitzgelegenheiten. Wir stellen auch zwei Tommy Bahama Strand- / Rucksackstühle und einen Regenschirm zur Verfügung. Es gibt auch einen Wäscheständer für Badeanzüge und Handtücher.

Die Beleuchtung ist sehr wichtig, daher gibt es neben den Leselampen an den Nachttischen ein Unterlicht in der Küche, und der Eingang und die Treppe sind mit Schaltern sowohl am Tor als auch in der Wohnung sehr gut beleuchtet. Es gibt sogar ein Guckloch im Eingangstor, so dass Sie alle Besucher filmen können!

Ein eigener, kostenloser Parkplatz für Fahrzeuge jeder Größe ist auf Anfrage vor Ort verfügbar.

Good Value for the money

Great location close to the beach. Chairs, beach umbrella, towels - all provided. Evening traffic noise was tolerable. Nice patio to sit out on once “rush hour was over. Only thing missing was access to a pool. Need to book that with a day pass at another location.

Perfect location

This property is well situated in LaRopa - 5 minute walk to the beach, combie stops right outside the door and several excellent restaurants within walking distance. Ray and Jane have thought of everything to make your stay enjoyable. The apartment is clean, well-appointed with kitchen utensils and spacious. The addition of the information binder is a great for first timers.

So happy with our choice!

Very private and quiet with easy access to beach, restaurants, coffee shops and transportation choices to get to town. Hosts were extremely helpful and quick to answer any questions we had. The welcome “book” had all the answers and it was great to get out of a hotel and feel part of the local culture. We had plenty of space, peace and quiet and relaxation options during our stay. It was obvious there was a lot of care and attention to detail in the amenities and space layout. We really appreciated the water dispenser!

What a find!

Jane and Ray’s place was recommended to us by a new Playa La Ropa swim friend and we were so pleased to find it! Very private, clean, well equipped and easy access to the beach, restaurants, combis/taxis and town. We felt safe and Jane and Ray were very responsive to any questions we had. In fact, we have booked a second week already!

Lovely, private apartment for a couple

This is a wonderful space for a couple. It was spotlessly clean and every bit as attractive as the pictures. Jane and Ray have provided many nice features for a comfortable stay -- beach chairs and umbrellas, drying rack for towels and swimsuits, reading lights on both sides of the bed, night light in the bathroom, coffee and some basic kitchen supplies. We enjoyed breakfast and coffee outdoors. The garden and patio are beautiful, and the space is completely private. Easy walking distance to the beach and to a number of nice restaurants with wonderful seafood. We stayed for a week and walked to a different restaurant each night. Transportation to the Centro is quick, easy and inexpensive on the combis. We'd be happy to stay here again!

Great La Ropa Vacation Spot

First time staying in La Ropa - pleasantly surprised! After five visits to Zihuatanejo - staying in La Noria, El Centro and La Madera - we decided to try La Ropa. We had thought it might be too far away from the center of town but that’s not the case at all. Combis and taxis are plentiful and stop right at our front door. The vibe here us so much more relaxed and the restaurants are fantastic! The beach is gorgeous and the water super clean! We couldn’t be happier here! The apartment is perfect for us - well equipped and nicely maintained. Our hosts are dog lovers and our mid-sized Labradoodle has a beautiful fenced in patio/yard to enjoy the outdoors! Would highly recommend Casa 4 Vientos!

Cozy for Two

Short walk to Playa La Ropa (Beach) the niece’s Beach in Ixtapa Zihuataneyo . The unit came with Tonny Bahamas umbrella and fold down light weight chairs that strapped to your back for your comfort when on the beach. Unit is very very clean. Kitchen well equipped. Restaurants on beach and nearby, again short walk. Hosts Jane and Ray are absolutely wonderful and informative they are speaking so no problem communicating. They also have a detailed Manual (binder) on all the Good Restaurants how to get around and how everything works in the unit. Anything you need to know they are a email or call away. Everything is as advertised. Thank you Jane & Ray !!!

A Great Experience at La Ropa!

This is a wonderful property located just off the beautiful beach of La Ropa at Zihuatanejo. Very comfortable, outfitted kitchen, lovely garden patio to enjoy and securely gated. Jane and Rae were fabulous hosts! They provided information on local events, restaurants, how to get around on the local buses for 10 pesos and other helpful info. The back pack chairs and umbrella were terrific for the beach! It was so great to go down to the beach several times a day and enjoy the sunsets and restaurants on La Ropa beach. Couldn't have been a better stay- thanks Jane and Rae!!

Ideal Location with Consummate Hosts

My husband and I stayed at Casa Cuatro Vientos for ten nights, and we enjoyed our stay tremendously. First, the apartment is completely private with a secure gate, and it is thoughtfully outfitted with everything one needs in order to be comfortable; there’s even cooking oil, salt, and pepper for cooking. As someone who is mosquito bait, I especially appreciated that all of the windows had screens. Anything forgotten at home can be purchased easily at the Oxxo convenience store right across the street. The apartment is located right near one of the entrances (the northern entrance) to Playa la Ropa, and so the walk to the beach is only about one and a half city blocks away. There are merchant stalls selling souvenirs as well as another convenience store on the walk to the beach in case one needs water, bathing suits, beach bags, water floaties or the like. There are also a number of tasty restaurants a short walk away such as Los Adelitos, Jungle Pizza, and Trattoria Gianni as well as the restaurants on the beach such as Triton and Patty’s. Because of the pandemic, we chose to take taxis into town instead of getting on the combi. Since taxis passed by regularly on the road in front of the apartment, hailing a cab was easy. The cost to get to el centro was 60 pesos. What makes the rental truly special, though, are the hosts. Jane and Ray are wonderful people who want their guests to enjoy the apartment and to love Zihuatanejo as much as they do. They live above the rental in their own separate unit, so they are easily accessible if one has questions. On one of the nights of our stay, it rained unexpectedly, and Jane thoughtfully gave us an umbrella to use. Jane and Ray also responded to any emails I sent in a timely manner. They are great, and my husband and I had a lovely time chatting with them and meeting their beautiful dogs, Karma and Zihuatl. We would stay at Casa Cuatro Vientos again in a heartbeat and have already started talking about our next trip back to Zihuatanejo. Muchas gracias, Jane and Ray, and hasta la vista!

Nice spot. Some simple adjustments could make it better.

Hosts are very nice. Fresh towels are only provided twice a week and the bed is very firm. An extra pillow was asked for but wasn’t available. Also bed had a plastic cover and with warm nights was hot. Bottom sheets on bed were old and often came loose. Nice kitchen that we used.

Great studio in Zihua

This is a very nice and comfortable studio apt., close to the beach and convenience store. Coffee, salt, pepper, sugar are supplied along with good supply of soap, etc. Hosts are helpful and nice folks. Will return we go back to Zihua!

Wonderful stay on la Ropa!

The spacious one bedroom apartment is a functional blend of traditional Mexican architecture and modern convenience. Its location on the doorstep of la Ropa beach and the la Ropa bus route is perfect. The ocean is a mere 5 minute pleasurable walk away, and the combi passes by every 10 minutes or so and takes you into the heart of Zihuatanejo for 10 pesos. We have been traveling to Ixtapa/Zihuatanejo annually for decades, but this was our first time staying in the la Ropa area, and we loved it! Jane and Ray are knowledgeable and generous hosts, eager to share information and perspective. We loved the apartment, its location,the peace and quiet at night, and the dogs Zihua and Karma!

Location location location

They said great location and were correct few short stroll to the right on beach in 3 minutes ,to the right in 5 minutes but walking by some great viewing along the way. Use of beach chairs and umbrella from condo was a huge benefit packed lunch little cooler of beer sit on beach swim walk visit with all the great friendly locals read that was hard as so many great distractions small bogie board waves pelicans fishing and beautiful sunsets. Ray and Jane great host with helpful hints of where to try for dinner or how to get somewhere. As far a apartment has everything you need and private patio great kitchen big shower smart tv but we didn’t use it day on beach come home shower up water out for some of the best food in Mexico fresh fresh fresh didn’t have bad meal in 4 weeks easy shopping either local mercado or mega both are great Mega for more common items like a super store in Canada or mercado for unbelievable fresh fish fruits veggies kilo of large shrimp tuna Mahi Mahi or any thing else you wanted . Jump on collecttivo any where on the street for 8.5 pesos take you from one end of town to other past all 3 beaches but Playa La Ropa is our favourite. All that said can’t wait to come back next time for another great stay .wouldnt hesitate to rent this place again .If you do say hi to Ray and Jane for us

Fantastic Rental

After spending 6 months a year in Zihuatanejo in an RV, we decided that it was time to move into a house and stay permanently!
We specifically wanted a home with a great view, lots of outdoor living space, and a short walk to the beach-short enough that we could carry our Stand Up Paddle Boards down and back daily without using a cart.
Casa 4 Vientos fits that bill perfectly!
We are now living full time in Zihuatanejo in the upper floors of this great home.

We are close to the water, the combi's stop out front and there are a number of great restaurants within 100m of us. Within a kilometer, there are dozens.
We can hear the surf at night and watch the world go by. It's paradise!
