Overall Stay

Not a bad price. The location was great. Host was responsive, but had issues with the cable one day into my trip until I left. Another issue that was ongoing and mentioned it to the host. Overall, it was okay.

Short Maui Studio Apartment Rental

Check-in at 4 PM was a bit later than we would have liked, but overall, this studio had everything we needed for a quick stay on the island. The air conditioner was a nice bonus, and while the space is small, it worked perfectly for us since we spent most of our time out exploring. If you plan to hang out in the room a lot, it might feel a little cramped.The location is fantastic; right across the street from a gorgeous beach and within walking distance of a grocery store and great restaurants. The price was reasonable, and we’d definitely stay here again!

3 Days at Kihei

We only had 3 days for our first visit to Maui and were really pleased with the location (close to the beach, humpback whale centre, shops & restaurants) and amenities of the Ocean View Studio. (Got to say - we did not get a chance to try out the pool or BBQ - but would have done so if we had stayed longer). We really appreciated the fans and big windows (did not use the A/C at all). We also made good use of the beach extras (chairs, towels, soft cooler). One negative was that we didn't realize that the road in front of the suite was the main drag for the "Kihei Strip" - We found that the traffic noise was quite noticeable (with doors and windows open). Otherwise the suite was clean and comfortable and made a good base camp for our short expedition.

Wonderful stay!

Great location and great place for a couple. It’s as described. Right across the street from the beach offering superb sunsets. Comfy place that’s well stocked with spices, tp, paper towels - all the things you usually have to buy at a VRBO. We never got a location from VRBO (no “here are you keys” email), but the host replied immediately upon our message. I would definitely stay here again!

Nice ecept for traffic noise.

Nice property with good parking, pool, and hot tub. Convenient location, beach adjacent. The only downside is that the unit faces directly onto Kihei Road, the busy highway leading into Kihei. This made for continuous traffic noise making it hard to enjoy the balcony.

Really nice accommodations

Very nice complex. Clean and close to everything. Owner really went out of her way to help me out when my flight was canceled and I could have been homeless for 2 nights. Would definitely stay here again!

Great spot!

This is a lovely spot, very conveniently in North Kihei so it’s pretty centrally located. The condo was quite clean and included many useful things — so nice to not have to pack beach towels! We enjoyed several meals on the balcony. It’s amazing to be able to walk across the street and into the water! The closest beach is well sheltered for kids to play in, with a number of turtles who choose to sleep on the rocks! The only drawback is that the street noise is a bit loud through the night, but the fan of the AC unit gave enough white noise to block it out. A perk: we really appreciated being able to check in early. Everything was easy!

Nice stay overall

We are actually satisfied with the stay. It’s big enough for 2 people, studio apartment with kitchen and everything you need. It was not properly cleaned , looks old , but we are really fine with that. Location is also great, we enjoyed sunsets on the beach across the street. It could be loud for sensitive people during the evening and early morning because it’s near the main road and cars are pretty often. But we are happy that chose this stay.

Comfortable, Ideal Location

This condo had everything we needed, and some things we didn’t know we would. Plenty of linens and kitchen supplies, comfortable bed and sofa, and a great location across the street from the beach. Hot tub and pool were especially nice after a long day at the beach.

View of the water

The check in process was easy and simple. The location is great, view of the pool and ocean from the balcony. Once I entered the room, it looked just like the pictures. Dated. It could definitely use some updates, though the electric glass stove top was nice. The bathroom door kept getting caught and my kids and I would get stuck in there, but got out after moving the knob around until it got unstuck. I would fix this before someone actually breaks the door knob trying to get out. Kids also complained about the pullout bed mattress. Lastly, check-in was easy breezy. But checking out, well let’s just say that there’s a list of chores asked of you before leaving. i.e. removing sheets from bedding, putting them in laundry basket, cleaning dishes, emptying the trash… but isn’t that why we pay a cleaning fee? I’m neat and clean up after myself, but this struck me as out of the ordinary. Overall it was okay. We only stayed at the condo for 2 days. It’s got some good thing going for it, but could use some updates that would create a much richer experience for the renters.

Easy, pretty view, and good area

If you are looking for somewhere to stay, this is the place. It was a easy process and had no issues throughout our stay. The floor was a bit dirty and we found a little bit of hair throughout the stay but overall it was a great place to stay. Not walking distance to food, but the beach is right across the way.
