Großartig für einen ausgedehnten Familienurlaub! Das Haus wurde im Jahr 2015 mit einigen kleineren Details im Winter 2018 neu renoviert. Drei schöne Schlafzimmer. Schlafzimmer 1 hat ein Etagenbett und ein neues Doppelbett, Schlafzimmer 2 hat Etagenbett und 2 Einzelbetten, Schlafzimmer 3 hat neues Kingsize-Bett und Master-Bad. Großes Hallenbad. Beide Badezimmer haben Badewannen. Home hat See Rechte zu White Lake & befindet sich auf einem Hektar privaten Adirondack bewahren, hat Camp Double Trouble stolz neue Besitzer ab Mai 2017. Home hat jetzt einen Essbereich für den erweiterten Gast! Genießen Sie einen kurzen Spaziergang von 2 Blocks zum weißen Sandstrand von White Lake, in der flachen Nachbarschaft oder einfach zum White Lake Inn. Das Haus verfügt über einen großen Parkplatz für Anhänger und mehrere Autos, Sat-TV, Waschmaschine und Trockner, Geschirrspüler und Mikrowelle. Bringen Sie einen Strandkorb mit, nicht nur für den See, sondern auch um an der Feuerstelle im Freien zu sitzen! Es gibt eine überdachte Veranda mit Sitzgelegenheiten, mit Blick auf den Hof und das Adirondack-Reservat. Die private Startrampe steht Ihnen zur Verfügung, um Kanu, Kajak oder Motorboot zu starten.

Kayaking trip to the Adirondacks!!

Great place to stay! Nice quiet neighborhood. Access to the lake just a 5 min bike ride away. Launch you’re boat/kayak right from there. Nice clean house. Big enough for the whole family with a nice garage that made it nice for the bikes and gear. Everything I needed to cook basic stuff in the kitchen. Close enough to Old Forge but far enough away from the masses. A+!

Highly Recommend! Great home and location

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Camp Gottaway. We stayed here with 2 adults and 7 children. The house was very clean. There was plenty of room for everyone with all the beds at this house. The location is great, with a short walk to the White Lake Inn when we didn’t want to cook, and only a couple of blocks to the private sandy beach. We loved the large dining room table that was big enough for all of us to sit around and play games it the evening. The owners were very quick with responses to any questions we had. We look forward to coming back here.

Great time

We had a great time at the house - close to old forge where we shopped and also did the water park nearby. Beds were comfy and kitchen was stocked with everything we needed. Especially enjoyed the huge kitchen table at night for meals and cards! Thanks for having us.

Great place, great host.

We had 3 adults and a dog in our party. After the trip we had three thumbs up with dog voting “present”. He licked something in the woods and did not feel well on the last day. Well equipped kitchen, comfortable beds, cleaned air, lake within 10 minute walk with a clean sand beach - we did not need anything else to have a wonderful time. Communication with the host was easy. We were getting prompt answers to all our questions. As I said 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻

Great Getaway at Camp Gotaway

The cabin was easy to find and close to Old Forge. There was plenty of room for my parents, my sister, her dog, a dog crate and my family of four. We never felt like we were crowded. The house was nice and comfortable but not super fancy- it is in the Adirondacks- rustic. Lots of sleeping options including tenting out on the front lawn. The only thing was there is a bar on the next block that let out at two in the morning which startled us. But that was only the one night and not for a prolonged time. The beach is a short walk down a street and up a block. It was well maintained and the water was clear. During the week the main beach was pretty empty but was crazy crowded on the weekend. The smaller beach was just us, even on the weekend. The manager was quick to respond- we accidentally locked the garage- oops! But we quickly heard back. We had a great time. So nice to be able to spend time with our family again. Thanks again for a great stay.

Family retreat

This is a very nice place for a large group or family. Great floor plan, 2 bathrooms, fully equipped kitchen, washer and dryer made the trip very enjoyable. Close access to beaches made swimming convenient. Owner responded to questions quickly.

Annual Fourth of july get a way

Hosts hit a home run , everything very clean and completely comfortable for our annual family get a way , as we own a family business and only get a long weekend a couple times a year it’s nice to stay somewhere close to old forge but not in the middle of all the hoopla ! Awesome stay!

This place was so perfect for two families with 4 young kids. The fire pit was so fun for roasting marshmallows and the lake and boat launch is right across the street! Our group had a great time and would definitely stay here again!

Everything was satisfactory.

Very clean. Well supplied kitchen. Great location to the beach and launch. We could have used blankets as nights were cool and only sheets and towels were mentioned as needed.

Gottaway is a great getaway...

This place is terrific. the yard was HUGE - there was a fire pit, a hammock, and a nice wood swing. There was plenty of space for us to setup kanjam, badminton, and ladder ball - and still have plenty of space to run around and goof off - yes it's that large. The house itself is incredibly spacious. Everything was as described in the original post. The dining room table seating for 8 was wonderful. Washer/dryer worked very well, and allowed us to get laundry done before heading home. The owners were ultra-fast to reply to our emails, which was a very welcome change from the vrbo-norm. The canoe was available to us at the waterside - the beach was a quick 3 minute walk from the house. Our family of 6 had a GREAT time. Highly recommend.

Gottaway with Grandkids

It was perfect! Took 4 grandkids (ages 10 to 18) for a short get away. House was clean with plenty of room to stretch out. Location was easy to access, just off the highway enough to mute the traffic noise and close to everything we wanted. Everyone had a great time, enjoyed the house, the beach and the campfires!! Beaches were clean and friendly. Went to Old Forge, girls must shop! Only complaint heard was that our trip ended too soon. Looking forward to a return trip in the future! Thanks Rob for giving us a great place to call 'home'.

The house is a nice place to stay.

Everything with the house was good. Our only disappointment was the loud golf cart activity on the road nightly that lasted well past midnight. It was like being at a senior class trip with all the hooting and hollering, and carts lit up with red or green lights. Otherwise, it was a nice visit and we had a good time.

Quiet family getaway

Loved the property... Kids enjoyed riding bikes around the community, and had the lake to themselves! Home was clean and well stocked, would definitely stay here again.

Fantastic ADK house for a family vacation.

Nice setting and clean house. Two blocks from White lake. The following amenities are provided at the house: TP, toweling, pots and pans, plates, utensils, Mixing bowls, serving bowls etc. All appliances, including toaster oven, coffee maker, dishwasher and gas grill are available. The outside is beautiful with a fire pit, chairs, bench swing and hammock. All you need to bring to have a fantastic time is your clothes, food and sheets.

Perfect Long Weekend Getaway

This house perfectly met our needs for a long weekend getaway with friends and their little ones. The house was perfect, secluded and quiet with a large yard and fire pit. The availability of the beach and private dock/launch in walking distance to the house made our whole weekend during times of social distancing. Would definitely come back again!

It's really nice just to just stop walking & have a good conversation with another neighbor, as if you already know each other! We have a lot of pride in our home & we hope you will too. My wife is a licensed real estate broke, but don't worry, there's NO FEE to you!

For three years we rented in the White Lake area & absolutely loved it, so we did the next logical thing, bought a home! Our home is nicely located in an area with a lot to do, yet far enough away from the congestion. Start your morning off with a cup of coffee on the deck overlooking the large front yard. After a long day of fun activities, build a camp fire & relax with a s'more or two!
