Erleben Sie die Goldküste von San Juan Island. Das White Point liegt nur wenige Gehminuten vom Hafen von Roche entfernt und ist ein wahrer Inselurlaub. Unser Haus liegt an einem Ufer mit niedrigem Ufer, gegenüber der Garrison Bay und dem British Camp National Park und bietet einen weiten Blick auf Gus Island, Mt. Jung und Yacht Haven.

Unser neu erbautes skandinavisches Bauernhaus verfügt über breite Dielenböden aus Eichenholz, einen Sub Zero-Kühlschrank, einen Wolf-Gasherd, einen Sub Zero-Getränkekühler und eine Carrera-Marmorplatte. Esszimmer Tisch für 12 Personen. Dieses Cottage im schicken Stil wurde 2015 erbaut und ist charmant, raffiniert und komfortabel.

Das Haupthaus verfügt über zwei Master-Suiten mit jeweils Kingsize-Betten. Das dazugehörige Gästehaus verfügt über ein Hauptschlafzimmer mit einem Queensize-Bett, einen Schlafraum mit vier eingebauten Einzelbetten und ein großes Badezimmer.

Was gibt es nicht zu lieben? Mit einem Salzwasser-Whirlpool, einer großen Holzterrasse im Freien und zwei Hängematten mit Blick auf das Wasser werden Sie sich in die Magie dieser Unterkunft verlieben. Der große Live Edge Fir Picknicktisch am Wasser bietet Platz für 12 Personen zum Abendessen im Al Fresca.

Beide Häuser verfügen über Flachbildfernseher, DVD / VCD-Player, Audiosysteme und WLAN. Das Haupthaus Surround Sound 75 "-Flachbildschirm und Sonos-Soundsystem in den Zimmern eingebaut.

Auf der Insel San Juan können Sie nicht nur entspannen, sondern auch Wale beobachten, Kajak fahren, segeln, wandern und vieles mehr. Diese Unterkunft befindet sich eine 20-minütige Fahrt vom Friday Harbor und 1,6 km vom Roche Harbor entfernt.

Roche Harbor

This property was excellent. The setting was perfect for relaxing and watching the boats go by. It was clean and very nicely appointed. Top of the line appliances, comfortable beds a great deck with fire pit. Overall, one of the best properties we have visited.

Amazing Stay

This is beautiful home that is well maintained and has spectacular views from every window. I wish we could have extended our stay. Beautiful kitchen for cooking at home. Plenty of board games for family game night. Fabulous movie collection for kids and adults. Lovely hot tub for an evening soak while stargazing. Beautiful backyard for playing frisbee and catch. Wonderful 2-person kayak for peaceful outings. I can't wait to return!

The perfect getaway with friends

Going to San Juan Island is like traveling to another world, far away from the stresses and confusion of modern life on the mainland. After touring the entire island, we agree with the owner's description of this location as the "best home." The area around Roche Harbor is pristine and gorgeous, a true Pacific Northwest paradise. Relaxing on the back porch, just watching the tide rise and fall, or sitting in the hot tub, amused by the seals and otters at play and the boaters coming and going creates a wonderful feeling of peace. Beauty is all around. The home and gardens are immaculate, and the accommodations are very comfortable. It's a quick drive or enjoyable walk over to Roche Harbor for a drink or a meal, and it's easy to get to Friday Harbor for groceries or sailing and boating adventures. The Saturday Farmers' Market at Friday Harbor is not to be missed! We also enjoyed a full day sailing trip and a shorter whale watch on a power boat. All around the island people were friendly. This was a great place to enjoy time with another couple -- we didn't even use the adjacent cottage with bunk beds for kids, but we would love to come back with family another time. If you love the Pacific Northwest, this home provides the quintessential experience. We had a really great time!

May be the Best Vacation Home on San Juan Island

My family and I very much enjoyed spending 10 days in August in this Roche Harbor waterfront. It is clear that the owners take great pride in this home, and want their guests to have the best of experiences. The house itself is lovely....well designed, tastefully decorated, and well appointed. The layout was perfect for our small family and guests in that we enjoyed the 2 bedroom main house, while our guests occupied the 2 bedroom guest house. This design afforded privacy, while at the same time allowed for the entire group comfortably assembling in the living room/dining room/kitchen area or the large deck area. We enjoyed cooking in the well stocked kitchen, as well as, using the grill, and congregating around the fire pit or using the hot tube in the evenings. The bedrooms have fine bedding. There is nothing better than sleeping with the windows open and a cool sea breeze flowing through while under thick down comforters. The location was perfect for our needs...close enough to everything to be convenient, but far enough away to feel removed. Roche Harbor is only a few minute drive should you need to pick up something at the grocery or lunch at the Madrona Harbor Grill. Two of our favorite places are around 5 or less minutes away.....the Duck Soup Inn and the Westcott Bay Shellfish Company. Neither should be missed on a visit to San Juan Island. And Friday Harbor is about a 20 minute drive through beautiful scenary regardless of the route you take. I should also mention that all of our interactions with Brad Augustine were very positive and professional. He made the entire rental process very easy and straightforward. We highly recommend this property.

A beautiful home right on the water with great views of boats going by along with some wildlofe.

The house is comfortable and spacious enough for an extended family of eight to enjoy pleasantly. The whole house is nicely built with top of the line materials and appliances. Preparing meals in the kitchen was a joy with almost all the tools we desired being provided. We all loved the big yard with plenty of space for play. We were able to explore the area on our walks to Roche Harbor and by water on our kayaks. The owners were great about contacting us ahead of time with directions, instructions and information about the house. We were so thankful to them for accomodating us when our planned lodging sold the house we had rented shortly before our trip. This location was so much better as it turned out, so we again were pleased to be able to stay here. They have reaffirmed our faith in vacation homes by owners! It is a very nice house.

Westcott Bay perfection

This house is amazing you will not be disappointed. We have been coming to San Juan Island for years and this house is amazing. The owners are very accommodating and make you feel at home. Steps from the water with spectacular views, hot tub, beautiful deck, unbelievable.

Peace and Quiet and Open Air

This home is the perfect blend of sophistication and cozy. It has everything you need to be comfortable and entertained during your stay. Westcott Bay views present themselves from almost every room. While we were there, we walked to Roche Harbor, kayaked in the bay, sat in the hot tub, enjoyed the outdoor fireplace, made use of the gourmet kitchen, combed the beach, laid in the hammocks, and played a rousing game of giant Jenga on the deck. We felt secluded, as the landscape is fully grown and the neighbors are quite a distance away. The adults stayed in the main house, while the teenagers claimed the carriage house - a perfect set up for our group. I am looking forward to visiting this wonderful house again.

OUR NEW FAVORITE PLACE

I was a bit surprised to read the review regarding the Owner's sensitivity to damage. With my family and me, the Owners (a husband and wife) were nothing but understanding, welcoming and extremely nice. We absolutely loved our time at the Waterfront Cottage Chic property and hope to come back this summer. The main house just recently finished new construction, and it is nothing but amazing. All details were thought of - whether it be the steam shower in the master bedroom, the elegant yet livable decorating, the coziest sectional ever, or the top of the line kitchen appliances and tools. We felt right at home and had a hard time saying goodbye!

AMAZING GETAWAY HOME !!!

We stayed with our two young children in this amazing property and can't wait to come back! The views from the property are outstanding, and the home is a combination of a cozy cottage and a five star hotel. The kitchen is open and full of everything you would possibly ever need, and the home feels very welcoming. The views are beyond compare, and the special touches make you feel right at home. We enjoyed short walks to the nearby resort, exploring the waterfront, and cozy nights by the fire. I can't imagine every staying anywhere else on San Juan again!

BE WARE!

This owner is highly sensitive to any damage you may cause, regardless of how minor. I highly recommend you take out VRBO insurance as your deposit will be reduced based on owner perceived damage. We left this home clean and undamaged other than normal wear and tear but the owner claimed otherwise. My feeling is this home should not be in a rental pool given the expectations the owner has that it will be left in "like new" condition. Regardless, we had a fabulous stay in a fabulous home in a fabulous location TARNISHED only by having to use small claims court to recover 40% of our damage deposit.

Spectacular New Waterfront Estate

We were the first family to rent this truly impressive waterfront estate since the owner finished having a new home built to replace an old cabin. The brand new main house is a large, elaborate, high-end custom "beach cottage" but it still has a comfortable and casual feeling. Set close to the water with a low bank near the southern end of White Point, the main house looks across Westcott Bay at Garrison Bay and Horseshoe Bay. It features stainless steel appliances in a gourmet kitchen with white marble counters, custom paneled walls painted in white gloss and stained beam ceilings, heated travertine floors and a steam shower in the master bath, a huge flat screen TV and a stereo system with built-in speakers throughout the house, folding NanaWall doors that open the house up to the outside, an outdoor entertainment area with contemporary wicker patio furniture set in decorative designer gravel, new landscaping with slate walkways, a beautiful new hardwood deck with gas fire-pit and a large Jacuzzi, and on and on... The matching guest house was built about 10 years earlier... Island deer, Blue Heron, sea otters, seals and Bald Eagles abound. Roche Harbor Resort, Spa and Marina is just a mile away. You will not be disappointed!

Peaceful family retreat

What a find! This property was perfect for our two families. We found the lawn a great place to play games and savor the sunshine, while the beach provided hours of entertainment, great views and a front row seat to crabbing, seal-play and eagles. The regular visits by deer delighted the little ones. Both houses were well-stocked for home-cooked meals, inside or out, and great sleeping. The roads to Roche Harbor were scenic, friendly and great for running. We would love to come back!

This is a magical place. ...

This is a magical place. We stayed with our four & seven yr old children & it was the perfect spot. We spent hours at the beach, saw deer, had a cozy fire in the evening, BBQ'd, & easily visited the islands charming Roche & Friday Harbors. The two bldgs make it perfect for kids to have a play to play & sleep and adults can entertain in the main cabin. This is a truly lovely & peaceful spot. We can't wait to come back!

A wonderful spot. Very child friendly location with easily accesible and watchable beach. Wonderful wildlife from deer and fox on land, to blue heron in sky and seals in the water. Cookware and servingware are among the best we've had in rental accommodations. Owner checked in on us via phone to make sure all was well. Great proximity to Roche Harbor on walkable backroads. Initially apprehensive about 2 structures, but worked out great for kids to have a separate play area or quiet spot. Also, good internet access and Satellite TV if you don't totally want to be removed from outside world. Highly recommend.

We finished construction of our waterfront house in July 2015. It is very luxurious and beautifully appointed. The moon and stars at night are amazing. Westcott Bay is a protected salt water Bay and the views of Mt Young National Park (British Camp) and Yacht Haven (Garrison Bay) are stunning both day and night.

Beautifully appointed homes. Stone Countertops throughout. Wet Bar in the dining room for easy entertaining to the Living room as well as the Al Fresca on the front patio. Master Bath Shower is also a steam bath. Master Bedroom door leads to our deck with a Salt Water Hot Tub. All rooms in the waterfront home have speakers and SONOS music system controllable by a smart phone to play Pandora, Play lists or Spotify in each room.
