Dieses haustierfreundliche Haus liegt so nah am Meer, wie Sie für Ihren Familienurlaub bekommen können. Es besteht aus 4 Schlafzimmern und 2 Badezimmern und bietet Platz für 10 Personen. Auf der ersten Etage befindet sich ein Schlafzimmer mit einem Kingsize-Bett und ein Schlafzimmer mit einem Queensize-Bett. Im Obergeschoss befinden sich zwei Schlafzimmer, jedes mit einem Doppelbett. In der Großen Halle im Obergeschoss gibt es Etagenbetten (Einzel- bis Doppel). Es gibt eine große Terrasse mit herrlichem Blick auf den Ozean. TV mit Kabel im Hauptraum sowie ein paar andere Schlafzimmer. Waschmaschine / Trockner sind auf der ersten Ebene. Zentrale Luft / Wärme und voll ausgestattete Küche. Das Haus verfügt über Highspeed-Internet und WLAN. Sie müssen Ihre eigene Bettwäsche zur Verfügung stellen. Bettwäsche-Service kann auf Anfrage empfohlen werden.

65th BD SURPRISE

This was the first family vacation we’ve had to Outer Banks in 28 years…celebrated my husband‘s 65th birthday and had a fabulous time. We had beautiful fall weather & had a wonderful stay at your house, Amy!We got to see northern lights over the ocean …spectacular!! thank you It Your house was perfect for our family Such a memorable vacation and we hope to return in the future.

Please be cautious

The host was responsive although I question the integrity as the following was misrepresented: 1) The pics on the posting ARE NOT what the inside of the house represents. Rather the place is not well maintained and the furniture is not what is in the pic rather much older, dirtier and smells like pet urine. The floor is not LVP or hardwood rather wall to wall carpet that is saturated with pet urine and worn. 2) “Palmetto bugs” aka cockroaches EVERYWHERE! Hence why we checked out ONE DAY AFTER OUR ARRIVAL FOR A SEVEN DAY STAY! 3) The place was not cleaned at all; the area rugs were saturated with old pet urine 4) Run down and needs a lot of work, the deck gate is pulled out of the siding due to rust and just hangs there 5) Windowsill from upstairs bathroom fell during the night which was an awful sound and it was due to rotting wood 6) Dips in the flooring especially when you walk in the front door, yes you will roll your ankle if you walk in confidently. I think it’s easy to give perfect score because the only thing going for this place is the vicinity to the water. If you don’t care about staying in a home that is dirty, not maintained whatsoever and has roaches then don’t consider my review.

Great Time, Great Family, Great Place!

From the first view on line the pictures and descriptions set the stage for our Great Time with Great Family at a GREAT PLACE! Can't go wrong here and Amy was great to be sure you felt as though you were being taken care of from the first email right to the check-out. From Coffee to Cocktails oceanside every day should set the ambience and tone for anyone's vacation... We're ready to go back!

A delight!!!

We really enjoyed our stay at this wonderful beach house- especially the porch, which has a great view of the ocean. We were a group of nine, and we could all eat easily at the table, the living room has a feeling of spaciousness, and the kitchen had everything we needed. The host Amy was very responsive.We all felt this is a house we want to come back to!!!

Perfect in every way!

This beach house was the perfect location and allowed our family to spend a lot of quality time together. The house was very clean and the kitchen was equipped with everything we needed to make every meal. We were just steps from the beach! The furniture was very comfortable. I have no complaints and would definitely rent this place again.

Such a fun place to vit with your kids!

It was my husband and I with our 6 kids. Our oldest is 21 and our youngest is 9. We found something for e everyone. The house was perfect to make meals and still enjoy "familty time". The sunrises were unbelievable! We had one rainy gloomy day and it was still beautifu.l

Water front beach cottage

We had a fabulous time! Amy was great! If you’re looking for a real beach cottage, that is what this is. It sleeps so many people. There’s two queens, a double a twin and a futon couch upstairs and there are two rooms downstairs, one with a queen, one with a king. It fit our family plus we could’ve taken another family! on the deck watching sunrises was phenomenal. I see a lot of comments about it needing to be updated. This is a beach cottage. This is not going to be a suburban home. We found it to be very relaxing and homey and it had everything we could ever need. We had a wonderful Christmas there and even baked cookies. We had a blowup tree, so we had a totally wonderful Christmas. Thank you, Amy!!

Disappointing

The e-mail for access code to property was sent after our departure, without e-mail access we had a difficult time to contact VRBO for the code. The driveway to the parking spots was filled with beach sand, we had 2 vehicles get stuck and had to ask the neighbor for help. The kitchen is not 'well equipped', few serving bowls and a hodge-podge of cookware, all of the frying pans were warped. The TV's didn't work the entire stay, contacted the manager on Sunday and didn't get a response until Thursday, had to deal with Spectrum and couldn't get a technician until the day we departed. Carpet was thread-bare in various locations, easy chair in family room was worn out. View from the deck was exceptional but we won't rent this cottage again.

Beautiful beach front property

My family and I really enjoyed our stay. The house is a little older and has obviously hosted many wonderful vacations but the location is perfect and we all felt very comfortable throughout our stay. Our host Amy was very responsive and we would not hesitate to book again!

Great stay....if you like dogs barking at 5:30AM!

Everything about the house and location was great...except the close proximity to the other houses. EVERYONE had dogs! I love dogs, but I DON'T like them barking at 5:30AM! It's not the dogs that I object to, it's the stupid owners who thinks it's ok to put the dogs on the decks at 5:30 AM! AND, the people walking from their homes to the ocean walked in between the houses, and the dogs barked ALL DAY. I know I can't escape dogs, but I don't think I would choose that location again because of the annoying dogs.

Plenty of room for our group! Cottage was perfect and right on the beach! Kitchen was well equipped with everything we needed to make our meals, board games were available, and our host was responsive and wonderful!

Incredible location and great functionality

As many others have said, the location is *everything* for this property. It's right on the beach, with just a few steps to the beach access point - so it's got incredible views and convenience! We pretty much only stayed in the house and beach all week, other than a day trip to Hatteras and one meal out. We were also very grateful for the dog-friendliness and functionality of the setup - the dog gate and porch with hose was extremely helpful for us in keeping things tidy and relaxed throughout our stay. And the kitchen is well-stocked with tons of dishes, tools, and appliances - we were able to have a crab feast with the mallets! Similar to what others have noted about the state of the house, the "hardware" is old but everything is functional and Amy has it thoroughly cleaned. In my experience after many OBX summers, for houses in this price bracket, the on-the-beach options tend to be older and the few-blocks-away options tend to be totally renovated; Amy's was far cleaner than other similar properties we've stayed at on the beach. The November 2022 review from "beth t." is a better elaboration on our experience--we'd echo everything she said! And we did not see any traces of previous dog guests, though that may vary from guest to guest as we did go through several times with the vacuum throughout our stay to pick up after our own dog. Thanks again for a great vacation, Amy!

Best Beach Vaca Ever

This was our first (but definitely not last) trip to OBX. The house was perfect. It was clean and comfortable and right on the beach. We had 10 people and a dog and fit comfortably. Sunrises from the deck were amazing. Lots of dolphin sightings!
