We always enjoy staying here. Its location is perfect for Pittsford and only a 10-15 min drive from Fairport, East View Mall, the city. Chris has done a great job maintaining the property and the new patio off the back is a great addition for outdoor dining and socializing

Charming House within walking distance to the fun town of Pittsford

Great Get-away

We stayed at this house for a week trip to NY to visit family and see the countryside. This house was perfect for us. The neighborhood is quiet and felt very safe. The kitchen was well stocked and had everything that we needed to cook and have coffee :) The laundry was nice for that long of a trip, the fireplace was cozy during the snowstorm, and we were close enough to just about everything, without feeling like we were in the big city. The owner was very easy to communicate with as well.

Thanksgiving Holiday

Had a lovely week as always! The location of the home is exceptional, walk to shops and dining! The new patio in the back yard is lovely (it was a bit cold for us to enjoy, but would enjoy in the warmer months). The home is charming, and has everything we need, We always enjoy our evenings around the wood burning fireplace this time of year. Our host is easy to reach out to, and always replies right back to answer any questions

Great summer stay

Fab stay in Pittsford. House is walkable to many great bars and restaurants- and coffee! Lovely porch for evening cocktails. Plenty of space. Well appointed house meant we had everything we needed handy. Thank you Chris- we had a great time!

Home away from home

We live in the area but needed to be out of our home during renovations. Chris was amazing to work with and we all loved staying here. The location is amazing. We loved walking into the village and relaxing on the front porch. The house had everything we needed, including comfortable mattresses (something you don’t always get in a rental)! Great experience and will definitely recommend to family and friends!

We had a great week at the Village House! The home itself is cozy, and comfortable. We didn't do much cooking (to much good food in the village), but the kitchen did provide everything we needed. We so enjoy the wood burning fireplace really made my family feel a bit like they were home for the holidays! The beds were comfortable for all, and the shower has good water pressure, and is clean up updated. The home owner is quick to respond to any questions both this visit and our earlier visit in 2020. The location could not be better, we met friends for morning walks on the canal, and strolls to Pittsford Dairy, and the Village Bakery - With the snow before Xmas it really felt like a snow globe holiday - This is our second time staying in this house, and will certainly rent again when in town

Perfect Pittsford Location

The convenience of this home is perfection!! Walkable to all of downtown Pittsford’s best bars, restaurants and shops. Kitchen is well stocked, comfy warm beds, loads of firewood and an overall cozy place to stay!! Highly recommended!

Beautiful cozy experience

Fabulous location to shops, restaurants and other must-try locals spots. Home was immaculate and stocked with great amenities! Beds were so comfortable too! So clean and pictures don’t do justice. Communication with host was top notch and he was extremely accommodating and kind. We will absolutely stay here again. I’d leave ten stars if I could!!

The house is lovely. The thought and care taken to provide anything the guests may need is top notch. Chris is by far the most responsive, accommodating host I have ever encountered on VRBO. If I could give him more than five stars, I would.

This is our 3rd stay at this location. Usually our son, daughter in law and grandchildren stay with us but covid interfered with their visit this year. We love the location in the village of Pittsford and walked along the canal several days, even bumping into an old friend one day

Five Week Summer Visit

My family and I just finished an amazing five week stay in the Village of Pittsford. The home is a short five minute walk to the heart of the town and the Erie Canal with its running and biking paths and charming restaurants, coffee houses and bars (and Pittsford Farms, the State's best ice cream). The home is on a beautiful tree lined street with charming old homes. The house itself is warm, cozy and extremely comfortable. It has been renovated with new kitchen, bedrooms and upstairs bathroom. Also, the owner put in air condition units in each of the outdoor bedrooms, which keeps the whole home cool and comfortable during the warm summer days. We loved our stay and cannot wait to return. A perfect place to enjoy for either a short or long getaway.

Beautiful spacious home in prime Pittsford location

The home is walkable to the town of Pittsford and Schoen Place (on the canal). It is just off the main road, route 96, which leads to East Ave to the north or Eastview / Victor to the south. Jefferson Rd and Monroe Ave are just a couple of minutes away. 490 and 590 are quickly accessible. We were visiting family in Mendon and Webster, so this location was perfect for our family. The house is a beautiful old home with character, that has been upgraded in all the right ways and places. The downstairs has a living room, dining room, kitchen, all minimally decorated, but practically equipped with anything visitors might need WiFi worked well. Upstairs there is 1 room with a king size bed next to a room with 2 twin beds, which is across from the upstairs bathroom. 2 other rooms are on the other side of the hall — an office with a futon, which we used, and another bedroom with a full/queen size bed. All beds were really comfy. Now we want a memory foam bed! Closet space was great, each room also had chairs and shelves for your things, and plenty of outlets. The bathroom is small but beautiful with Black & White hexagonal tiling, a pedestal sink, and a full shower and bathtub. The water heated up well, but the water pressure is light. Overall, great property! Owner is responsive and easy to work with. Thanks for a great stay in the Rochester area!

Great weekend!

Beautifully renovated 1920s home in a fabulous location! The house was very comfortable. We were able to walk around town, enjoy the canal as well as easily get to other Rochester locations.
