Diese schöne Altbauwohnung befindet sich im Herzen von London, nur wenige Minuten von Covent Garden und dem beliebten Soho entfernt. Mit allem, was Sie von der Parade der Geschäfte entlang der Oxford Street, dem Nachtleben von Soho und den Restaurants und Straßenkünstlern von Covent Garden vor der Haustür erwarten. Die Wohnung ist 3 Minuten zu Fuß vom British Museum entfernt, 5 Minuten zu Fuß zum Leicester Square und Trafalgar Square. Die nächste U-Bahnstation (Tottenham Court Road) ist nur 4 Minuten zu Fuß entfernt.

Es gibt drei Schlafzimmer, zwei mit Doppelbetten und eines mit einem Kingsize-Bett. Eines der Doppelzimmer verfügt über ein eigenes Duschbad und ein großes Familienbadezimmer. Beide Bäder haben Fußbodenheizung. Das Wohnzimmer verfügt über einen Sitzbereich und einen Klapptisch, an dem 6 Personen Platz haben, wenn sie voll ausgezogen sind. Es gibt einen Freeview-Flachbildfernseher, ein kleines Sofa und einen Clubsessel sowie 2 weitere Einzelbetten, die untereinander geschoben werden können.

Perfectly Perfect

What a joy it was to stay here! Perfectly located, with just a short commute to all things London. With one of our party having mobility issues, the lift worked perfectly for him. Tip-black cabs are familiar with the historic one way street and are able to drop you at the entrance, perfect for those with mobility issues. Rob is prompt and thorough in his communications. We would definitely stay here again.

Decent place, a little investment and care would go a long way

I think this pricing was right for what this apartment is - it’s a nice layout that’s centrally located. The apartment could be greatly improved though with some investment and it would be in a lot better shape. There was a decent amount of mold in the bathroom and the walls were dirty. There was also a lot of long dark hair in the bathtub when we arrived. The beds and bedding are cheap, which you can feel the moment you sit on them. Finally, the host messaged me at the end of the stay offering me cash compensation to not provide anything less than a perfect review, which I think would just extend the issues and negatively impact this community. I would say that if you have kids and need a 3 bedroom and don’t find anything better, go for it, it wasn’t bad just not great.

Appartement très propre. A noter que l’appartement est bruyant la nuit car il se situe dans une rue étroite à l’angle de 2 grands axes routiers ( 2 doubles voies) et il n’y a que du simple vitrage, avec du sopalin sur un des encadrements des fenêtres de cuisine pour colmater un passage d’air. De plus présence d’échafaudage devant toutes les fenêtres , réduisant fortement la luminosité de l’appartement et nécessité de laisser les volets fermés car les ouvriers sont sur l’échafaudage dès 8h du matin. Grasse matinée compromise !!!!. Remarque faite à l’hôte car la présence d’échafaudage n’était pas notée sur le site Abritel….. mais bon à savoir pour les prochains locataires.

Family trip to London

We are a party of 5 (2 adults and 3 grown children from 17-22) and booked this flat for a family vacation. Unfortunately we never stayed in the flat we reserved for a single night. On the day we arrived we learned of water damage to the location from the flat above. We were very understanding of the situation and thankfully Rob offered another location which was about a 15 min walk from where we expected to stay. The apartment was much larger, but was not what we expected—dirty carpets, 3 floors of bedrooms and a basement common area. We specifically chose a single floor layout instead of a hotel so we could be together, not disbursed in a 4 story house. They offered to move us to a new location with single floor layout after two nights. This we much better, but was not the quality we expected when we reserved our original flat. After 1 day in the new flat the toilet didn’t work and the hot water was off for 1 day. They were responsive to fixing the hot water but the toilet was never fixed. In addition they never reimbursed us for moving all our stuff in the middle of vacation despite offering to do so. Two days before departure we asked for a late check out (2 extra hours) which they did not accommodate, but offered to keep our bags instead. When we returned to pick up our bags the flat was same as we left it and nobody cleaning. Not sure why they couldn’t accommodate 2 hours after all our troubles. They even asked us to stay around to let the cleaning ladies in….good

Christmastime in London

We were a large family group spread between 2 flats, but this flat was our home base. Warm, inviting, and spacious. Our host could not have been more helpful. Overall, a great vacation in a great location!

Wonderful Stay!

My family had a wonderful time staying in this property. The location was ideal. A true gem in the lively neighborhood of Covent Garden. We loved the location- so very close to all that you want to see and explore in London on a short trip and at the same time super quiet and peaceful to relax and sleep well. The apartment had everything we needed, including a washing machine, microwave, coffee maker, Apple TV, etc. It was spotlessly clean which was a big deal for us. We would definitely stay here again when we return to London.

Touring London

Flat was excellent location for visiting central London. We could walk or use underground to reach our itinerary sites. Flat was very clean. Kitchen was well equipped. We only made breakfast, but enjoyed a cup of tea as well. Never figured out washer/dryer. Instructions posted were for a different model. Flat temperature was a bit cold, beds were very comfortable. Smaller bathroom shower water spilled onto floor. Living/dining area spacious and had additional heater which was useful. Location was excellent for visiting major tourist attractions, museums , theatre and restaurants. We did multiple walking tours which were excellent.

Great and luxury Location

We never have been disappointed by booking a flat via VRBO and staying in this flat proved the professionalism of the platform one more time This tastefully decorated flat is located just minutes off Covent Garden, which is a rare find. The house is absolutely unique and beautiful, we learned from the property manager that it's a Grade II listed property which is of very interesting history and value. Nevertheless the small lift was 100% reliable and helped us to get us and our plentiful luggage upstairs. The flat is incredibly homey and well equipped. King size beds in 2 large bedrooms, 1 bedroom is smaller but comes with an en-suite bathroom. The other shared bathroom is large, comes with a tub and shower overhead. All fittings and water pressure worked perfectly well, kitchen and bathrooms are lovely and super clean We experience an always quiet street, there are only a few cars allowed to pass the street (mainly taxis) - we kept the windows open day and night to enjoy the breeze after sunny summer days. We could hardly believe to be accommodated in such a fantastic location, highly valuable property with plenty of space for all 6 of us… I think we won a lottery without knowing. High value for money with a wonderfully caring owner.

Description Does Not Match Reality of the Property

We have stayed at multiple VRBOs and Airbnbs; this was the most disappointing due to several issues: 1. There are not 3 King beds; 1 King; 1 Queen; 1 Full 2. Not clean; the carpets, hardwood, and most aspects of the unit are dirty and in general very poorly kept 3. Large 'poison' traps throughout the unit and hallways - at least 5 4. Poor WIFI 5. Location - in proximity to many good attractions; but right outside the entry are homeless people and several undesireables 6. Loud at night 7. ELEVATOR - best for last; my wife and I were stranded as it simply stopped one evening. With the help of our adult children we managed to escape after almost an hour. This is around 10/11pm; at 2am we were awoken by the repairman who had just arrived to fix it. We obviously could not trust the elevator again; so had to negotiate the steps on check out with our luggage. 8. Host/Rob - very communicative until we arrived at the property and had this issue with the elevator. We heard from them over 12 hours post the incident.

Great Central Location

We stayed in this rental for four days. It was a great launching point to explore London. Katie was wonderful getting us set up with the apartment. We were able to explore the city by foot/Uber and tube. Only thing that worked out a little different from expected is the washing machine. It washes…it almost dries. You’ll need to use the drying rack. Spoke with two folks from London and they said this is just the way it is with the all in one machines. We had a great time. Highly recommend.

Wonderful hosts and amazing location...!

Just wrapped up a family vacation through the UK. Started in Scotland and ended with a magical stay here at 3 Grape St. The hosts communicated brilliantly to ensure the flat was ready for us when we arrived and suited us perfectly as the five of us took in the sights of London with the added bonus of enjoying the events around the Queen's Platinum Jubilee. The hosts gently monitored us throughout our stay to ensure we had everything we needed. Nestled in between Soho and Covent Garden, this location is the perfect home base for travelers to enjoy the best of London. We are now back home in Boston, MA but will absolutely stay here again. Thank you Rob...!!!

Fantastic Choice - although last minute!

This was my first time booking a vrbo (especially on short notice) we usually go for a Hotel but due to the difficult Pandemic situation there was no Suite available. My experience with vrbo and Rob the host, was overwhelming! Rob is a very responsive host with an easy but safe booking process. Only 24 hours later we were greeted by his charming property manager who made us feel welcome. The house is a beautiful Jugendstil building, the location is incredible. Not even a 5 minutes walk to Covent Garden, British Museum and Oxford St. The house is very well maintained, the flat itself is professionally decorated and immaculate clean, spacious and welcoming. We loved the 2 large bedrooms, the Master bedroom is a bit smaller but the value of an en-suite bathroom was great. The shared bathroom is large and convenient, water pressure is good, Rob even provided toiletries, towels and linen was provided from a Hotel which is an excellent choice in my opinion. We only stayed for 3 nights but would have loved to stay for weeks. We surely will book Robs home again and would highly recommend this luxury home.

I enjoy watching Super Bowl especially with my loved ones and few close friends. Yeah, I’m a family guy! I’m also a big fan of National Geographic! Aside from being educational or informative, it’s fun to read and watch documentaries with brilliant photos and videos. It’s more fun to learn when you’re entertained as well. They are just amazing. As an Airbnb host for quite long time, the thing that I enjoyed most about is meeting people from different parts of the world. It’s such a joy to finally meet the guests you’ve virtually once communicated. I am always looking forward to connecting with you as a host and I will do my best to make your stay in my apartment as comfortable as possible.
