Beautiful Breckenridge Mountain Home

The property is large, with six bedrooms and three levels. We especially enjoyed the large deck on the main floor and the living room area on the bottom floor. There is plenty of room for people to have privacy but also to congregate as a group. We also appreciated the laundry room with two washers and dryers and the kitchen's two dushwashers!

Great for large family

We had a wonderful stay! Tons of room, towels and space! Lots of levels were you could break off and have some quiet time. The hot tub was the best! Easy ski in and ski out!

clean and comfortable

Very nice house and very appropriate for large groups. Plenty of seating at the dining tables. Large hot tub. Two dishwashers, two refrigerators, plenty of dishes, towels, and linens. Great communication from Jane and a surprise meal in the crock pot upon our arrival - what a pleasant surprise! We will rent again next time we need a home in the area.

Family trip to Breck

This lodge was awesome. The hosts were wonderful. The accommodations were great for our family of 13. The lodge was well stocked with everything we needed. The Thai Chicken soup awaiting us when we arrived was delightful The weather was fantastic for skiing. Absolutely one of the nicest places we have stayed. Definitely a family vacation full of memories.

Peak performance

This property was absolutely perfect. We have stayed at a number of local properties and this tops them all. The house was exactly as described and beautiful inside. The location was ski-in, ski out required you cross the road below but we just walked up the road every morning, it was easy to access the slopes. Six bedrooms gave ample room for everyone and we will almost certainly return.

Best home ever!!

The house was unbelievably comfortable and warm, and had everything we needed. Since we had babies ranging from the age of six weeks old to almost 2 years old and six adults, they were so comfortable with plenty of rooms.

Amazing home and location

The kitchen felt a little small for the number of people we had, but it was well furnished and was the closest thing to a complaint anyone had on our trip. 11 people were extremely comfortable, there were no gripes about bathroom situations; the trail access is almost unrivaled, we had people enjoying the hot tub every single night, communication with the host was excellent, and it is the cleanest/coziest rental my girlfriend and I have ever stayed at.

Lovely Breck Home

A beautiful home in the Four O clock run neighborhood. The owner was super great to work with. Soup was ready on our arrival and driveways were shoveled each day. Ski out was very convenient to the Snowflake Lift. The negative was to r Snowflake Lift was a long wait. You can ski back to the house -although the path involved some poling. .

Perfect Getaway

We had a wonderful visit at the Slopeside House. We had the warmest of welcomes with the lights on, heating on, and yummy warm soup waiting. The house was cozy and full of all the amenities we could ever need. Perfect location to everything you may want to see and do. The house is within steps to the ski slopes, minutes from downtown Breckinridge and short drive to other local towns of interest. We can’t wait to visit this house again in the future.

Perfect home for large groups

Jane does an incredible job managing the property. Everything was as expected, but she was an incredible host with soup and bread prepared (which was great for the cooler temperatures) and a large bowl of chocolates which we put a dent in during our stay. The layout is great with clusters of rooms and bathrooms being somewhat separate offering small retreats from staying with a large party. The views from the large deck were overlooking the town and the amount of stars you could see at night were exactly what you would expect when in Breck. Would highly recommend.

Very comfortable with lots of spaces for sidebar conversations

12 adults plus my six great grandchildren had a most memorable family get together. The kitchen is very well stocked with whatever you need for preparing, cooking, and serving. The large, hot tub could easily accommodate eight of us. The floor plan allowed lots of spaces for getaway conversations. Although expensive for us, we might consider doing it again. Unforgettable Trip

My family has stayed and skied in Breckenridge for 30 plus years and have stayed in numerous locations. This one is top notch. Extremely convenient ski in ski out and the home was set up perfect for a large group. Everyone in my family commented on how wonderful the place was and everyone had a great time. I would highly recommend this home if you want a fantastic skiing experience with extreme comfort. I also can't say enough good things about the communication with Jane. She was wonderful to speak to and very good with communication when we had a question. Thank you Jane for helping us have a great family ski vacation!

On a scale of 1-10, I give this property a 15!

The house was spacious yet cozy and had one of the best-stocked kitchens I've seen. It's true ski-in/ski-out location made getting on and off the slopes a breeze. And for me it's the little things that make a difference. I know this is going to sound silly, but the house was well-stocked with high-quality tissues. Such a refreshing change to not have to blow my nose on "sandpaper" all week. Finally, after a 3 hour delay getting in, we were greeted with a crock pot full of delicious soup. We will definitely rent from Jane's Lodges again!

Great home with room for multiple families!

Sprawling house with room for multiple families to stay comfortably without feeling cramped. We had 7 adults and 6 kids between 3 and 9 years old. Comfortable beds with nice linens throughout. House had everything you would expect. You only needed to provide food! And, the property manager, Jane, had a delicious hot meal waiting for us when we arrived. A very nice touch! The Peak 8 area was a short walk (in the summer) from the house. Also, a nice hike down to the Sawmill Reservoir through the "Fairy Forest". The girls loved it! Easy ski in/out access in the winter (I would assume). The only negative is that the house is on a corner, and there was a little more vehicle traffic than we would have cared for with the kids running around in the yard. Not a big negative, but we had some younger kids in the group. It was a great 7 night stay, and no one was ready to leave.

Great location and fit our needs

Breckenridge is such an awesome location, but it can be pretty busy, especially during a holiday weekend. This home is located just a mile or so from the center of town, but far enough away where we had plenty of privacy. Everything we needed was provided. Hot tub was awesome! Beds were comfy. Home was mostly well taken care of, but there were a few issues that we will point out to the property manager (just a few minor issues that they may not even know about). Probably one of the BEST things, to be honest, were the heated bathroom floors! It was cool in the mornings, and it sure was nice to walk on warm floors. Can only imagine how great that would be in the middle of winter. We were allowed the access the property a few hours early to set up for a surprise party and we were so grateful for that time! Highly recommend this property to anyone and everyone. We might even see if there is a time to spend at it again this winter. Thanks!!!

Our Fav Spot in Breck

Our family has been doing a Breck vacation for 10 years now and this property was easily our favorite so far! From the initial reservation to check out, Jane was so helpful and communcative. We arrived a little late on a Thursday but arrived to Christmas music on the tv’s, lights on in each room, adorable Christmas decorations, and a crockpot full of the BEST Thai Curry soup (which was so needed after a full day of travel). So many things in this place were a positive - great spaces for all 15 of us, everyone loved their beds and the crazy soft blankets. You know how some rentals feel like a sad IKEA showroom? Where it’s all bland and basically cardboard? This place is NOT that. It’s so cozy and well-appointed from fluffy towels to the quality dishes to the real, human-sized shampoo & conditioner in all of the showers. The hot tub is huge and a real gem for post-skiing. Speaking of skiing, it’s super easy to hop on the 4 o’clock run. The kids found the hill outside the house to work for sledding (the house had sleds available, which was awesome!) I think our favorite part of the house was the different spaces to gather. We loved the big dinner table, thoroughly enjoyed the fireplace, and watched some football downstairs while we played pool. The linens are so clean and smell so good - it just all felt so clean and well cared for. We felt like we were staying with family. Jane was available for any questions and we always felt safe and taken care of. The detail put into the stay was wonderful - ski holders and chairs in the garage, humidifiers in the rooms, pack & plays and high chairs for the little ones…it was all so thoughtful. Highly recommend a 4 wheel-drive vehicle, the driveway is pretty steep but we made it work with a little Rav4 and a couple of shuttles! Absolutely can’t wait to come back.
