Der Aufenthalt in der Azalea Falls Lodge ist "wie in einem wundervollen Baumhaus", "mit Blick auf eine verzauberte Mulde". Zwei schöne, aber saisonale Wasserfälle haben diese Höhle im Laufe der Jahrhunderte herausgearbeitet. Verlassen Sie ein unberührtes und ursprüngliches Gebiet mit Steinhäusern, wilden Azaleen, steilen Klippen und einer reichen Tierwelt.

Die 3000sf Lodge befindet sich auf einem Hügel oberhalb von einem 85-Fuß-Wasserfall und ist ein Haus im Frank-Lloyd-Wright-Stil aus Stein, Glas und Redwood. Es ist der Traum eines Outdoor-Enthusiasten und schützt die umliegenden 150 Hektar. Die 3.000 m² großen Decks und Terrassen laden Sie ein, die wechselnden Jahreszeiten, die Vögel und die Eichhörnchen am Morgen sowie den Mond und die Sterne am Abend und die Parade der Wildtiere, die durch die Gegend ziehen, zu beobachten.

Im Inneren gibt es Luxus, der für den Buffalo River ungewöhnlich ist. Jeder moderne Komfort wird mit schönen Wohndekorationen und reichlich Kunstwerken, viele davon von lokalen Künstlern kombiniert. Mit Antiquitäten und Sammlerstücken werden Sie sich wie zu Hause fühlen, entspannt und erneuert. "In Frieden", "eine spirituelle Qualität" und "magisch" sind einige der Kommentare, die verwendet wurden, um das Ambiente der Lodge und ihrer Umgebung zu beschreiben. Komfort und Raum zum Atmen werden durch 3 Schlafzimmer, 3 Vollbäder, Whirlpool, voll ausgestattete Küche und 2 Steinkamine (mit Holz in der Saison) gewährleistet. Diese Annehmlichkeiten werden nur durch Satelliten-TV, DVD / VCR, Stereoanlage, Telefon, Wifi und 3 Schlafsofas für größere Gruppen verbessert. Charming and relaxing cabin the woods

The buildings are beautiful and fit neatly into the landscape. The luxury of the cabin and lodge are a welcome relief after a wonderful but exhausting day spent in the wind, water, and sunshine. Think jacuzzi for sore muscles and cold a/c to help you relax.

Loved the waterfall right outside the door!

We were there to ride at Wilderness Rider Ranch. Weather was wonderful so we spent a lot of time sitting on porch listening to the waterfall.

Stunningly Beautiful Lodge and On-site Hiking Trail

This lodge was hands down my most enjoyable cabin/lodge rental experience. The house was very elegantly designed with every necessary accommodation for a fun get together with many friends or family. The host kept cooking supplies well stocked and the bathrooms and bedrooms kept all of the guests well rested and refreshed. We had a gorgeous waterfall view right in front of the patio/deck area that kept us constantly immersed in the beauty of the Ozarks. There is even a very fun mile long hiking loop that takes you to the base and top of this waterfall if you're looking for an adventure. 10/10 - I plan on staying again!

Hidden Gem

Three of us took a trip to northern Arkansas in April to float the Buffalo river and hike the trials. We stayed two nights at the Azalea Falls Lodge near Kingston. We were very surprised by, and impressed with the accommodations. Two very spacious bedrooms, at third small bedroom, a nice kitchen and great living areas. The lodge is set on a cliff overlooking a fantastic waterfall. We were fortunate to have the falls in full flow and spent most of the time on the huge deck enjoying the sound and view of the falls. Be sure to bring food with you as there are no restaurants and very few stores nearby.

Can't recommend enough

Thank you for your lovely hospitality. We are so grateful that you shared your beautiful property with us for this time. You really pay attention to the details. I have never been to such a well-stocked rental. Your care for your guests is obvious. A highlight for me was reading about Alf in the coffee table book about thomg trees of Newton County. It was a delightful read. Your night sky view is sensational. We were very excited to stay at your place, and our stay exceeded our high expectations! I hope we will meet again!

Peaceful Home and Stunning Location for Retreat / Quiet Getaway

The Azalea Falls Lodge home is an absolute gem. We could were enchanted with the furnishings and found every amenity needed for our stay including firewood and kindling. We enjoyed cooking dinners at the house, lounging by the fireplace, and sitting on the deck listening to the waterfall. Kathy's love of hosting is evident by all of the thoughtful touches including fresh flowers, cookies, and champagne. The home was in the perfect location to hike at Hawk's Bill Crag and Lost Valley. We truly did not want to leave and are looking forward to returning.

Incredible Lodge

This place was absolutely amazing and in the middle of nowhere, which is exactly what we wanted. The waterfall wasn’t running due to the lack of rain, but it was still a beautiful area. Not the best driveway for motorcycles, but we managed to make it up and down without incident. The air conditioner did have a little tough time cooling the place, but they had very unusually heat in the area and had cooled down through the night when temps were normal for the area. I would 100% stay here again! Tons of space and a great getaway from the world.

Beautiful Property

If you like the outdoors, the sound of rushing waterfalls, the singing of birds, eclectic charm and beautiful art pieces, you will want to choose Azaelea Falls. We stayed in the Lodge, and it was amazing. There would have been plenty of room for more guests - the Lodge is big and laid out well to accommodate more than the two of us. We drove into town a couple of times for lunch - great restaurant choices, and the food was great! There are steep and curvy roads but maneuverable. We got to see the elk - actually right up near the road. We would highly recommend this VRBO location. The host greeted us as we arrived by name and gave us a nice orientation to the area based on what our interests were. You can't go wrong with this one! Loved it and hope to be back sooner rather than later!

OUTSATNDING

EVEN THOUGH WE HAD TO CUT OUR STAY SHORT IT WAS WHAT THE DOCTOR ORDERED. VERY PEACEFUL, WE DONE EXACTLY WHAT WE WANTED WHICH WAS NOTHING. THE DECK WAS A GREAT PLACE TO HANG OUT AND GET SUN. THE JETTED TUB WAS A BONUS TREAT. THE ONLY THING THAT WE WILL HAVE TO REMEMBER IS TO BRING BUG SPRAY LOL. P.S. THE RACOONS LOVE THE TRASH SO KEEP IT INSIDE. THANKS AGAIN FOR EVERYTHING MARK BRIXEY

Very beautiful scenery

The property was fine, it smelled a bit old but it wasn’t so bad. The outdoor part of the property was beautiful, amazing deck! It was kind of a bummer that the office for this property was located very close to the place we stayed. It just seemed a bit like we we weren’t really on our own. I’d recommend for a smaller group or something very mild. I went with some of my guys and I just felt like we weren’t very trusted to be there. Overall, the manager was very nice but I wish we would have been more on our own.

Secluded Comfort

Beautiful stone, wood and glass house overlooking a waterfall. Very comfortable and well appointed. The house blends into the landscape and surrounding nature. The owner was very kind and responsive. Hopefully we will make it back soon.

Hidden gem!

We were in for a quick night on our motorcycle trip. Stayed here because it was between Eureka Springs and Hot Springs. Got here later than we planned and after showing up after dark we soon realized it is a sketchy ride to the lodge on the motorcycles! We sent it anyway and she let us park our bikes at her office and we took the stairs down to the lodge. Beautiful place! This place doesn't show well in the pictures on VRBO but let me tell you this place is so awesome! The details of this place are amazing. Our one night there was not enough. We could have spent days there but we were in a hurry to get in and get out the next morning. It's even more sketchy on the gravel road going out and up the hills on a street bike. Well worth it though. The manager was super nice. Wish we weren't so rushed so I could have thanked her before we left out the next morning. We will be back for sure to stay more nights at the wonderful Azalea Falls lodge. I didn't get enough!! This is a true hidden gem of a place!

What a gorgeous location!

Five 50+ female cousins get away twice a year - this year we chose Azalea Lodge because of the privacy we could have. We also wanted to hear the elk bugle, and the proximity to where they gathered was phenomenal. That's something to be experienced! Azalea Lodge was everything we imagined and more. Very well appointed - it lacked for nothing. But of course the shining star is the HUGE deck overlooking the valley and into the mountains. We spent almost no time inside - the weather was perfect for porch sitting, laughing, gossiping, and being family again. I cannot say enough good things about Kathy and Alf. Communication was excellent! They were there if we needed them, and faded into the background if we didn't. Overall, a 5+ star vacation for our group! Don't pass this place up - the quiet and peace is enough to bring us back for another round!
