"Das" Ocean Sands "ist ein großes, älteres Haus, in dem man sich wunderbar an der Küste von Oregon versammeln kann! Dieses Haus liegt direkt im Sand am Strand und das Meer ist dein Hinterhof! Es gibt einen großartigen Familienbereich für das Zusammensein und dennoch drei unabhängige Bereiche für Privatsphäre und Einsamkeit. Dieses Haus wurde in den frühen 70er Jahren erbaut und verfügt über einen gemütlichen Holzkamin. Grundriss - einstöckiges Haus mit 4-5 Stufen im Flur.
Layout - Haupteingang hat Wohnzimmer, Küche und Essbereich. 3 Schlafzimmer. Meister mit Kingsize-Bett und Vollbad. 2. Schlafzimmer mit Queensize-Bett und zwei Einzelbetten und Vollbad. 3. Schlafzimmer mit Queensize-Bett und zwei Einzelbetten und Vollbad. Alle 3 Bäder haben nur Dusche (keine Wanne).
Kiwanda Shores ist eine private Wohnanlage mit hochwertigen Häusern am Meer in Pacific City. Sicherheit, Besitzerstolz und ein friedlicher Genuss der Küstenerfahrung werden von Hausbesitzern und Mietern von Kiwanda Shores gleichermaßen geteilt. Ein sandiger Strand mit niedrigem Ufer fällt von den Häusern an der Ozeanfront zum Ozean ab. Der Zugang zum Strand ist für die Häuser der zweiten Reihe und der hinteren Reihe möglich.
Dieses Haus ist tierfreundlich für ein oder zwei Hunde. Bitte teilen Sie uns mit, ob Sie ein Haustier mitbringen, damit wir die nicht erstattbare Gebühr für Haustiere in Höhe von 10 USD pro Nacht (maximal 40 USD pro Haustier) hinzufügen können. Nur gut erzogene Hunde sind erlaubt. Haustiere sind auf den Möbeln nicht erlaubt und dürfen nicht unbeaufsichtigt im Haus gelassen werden.
Dieses Haus ist direkt auf einer Sanddüne gebaut, die zum Strand führt. Während der Winterstürme kann sich der Sand schnell auf dem Grundstück ansammeln und die Aussicht auf das Meer beeinträchtigen. Obwohl wir alle Anstrengungen unternehmen, um den Sand zu entfernen und die Aussicht vor Ihrem Aufenthalt zu bewahren, ist dies aufgrund des Winterwetters schwer vorherzusagen und die Aussicht kann möglicherweise nicht garantiert werden.

Die Belegungsregeln werden strikt eingehalten und gelten für die gesamte Unterkunft während des Aufenthalts. Zusätzliche Tagesgäste können mit vorheriger Genehmigung des Managements zugelassen werden.

Beachfront all the way!

Unbeatable location! Unbeatable view! This is a once in a lifetime property! Can’t get any closer to the beach than being on the beach which this house is! The interior is a little quirky, but we liked it!

Ignore all negative reviews!!

If I had read the other reviews before booking I probably wouldn’t have booked this. I’m glad I did. It was very homey. Kids loved the bunk beds, and the porch that we can close so our younger kids could play outside. Being able to walk right onto the beach was amazing. Customer service was amazing, got us checked in 1hr 1/2 early! We will definitely book here again ! Thank you

Don't book it!

When we arrived, it was hot and stuffy. The windows don't open so you have to rely on a fan. The beds have not been replaced (believe the reviews!) and are horrible. I chose to sleep on the couch. The floor is made of bricks which are uneven in many places, being a safety hazard. There was mold many places and water damage on the walls. Best thing: location. We would never go back.

When we got there it was dirty sand was coming in at the bottom of the wall in the living room. Smaller then what the pictures show. Nothing up to date. The dining room chairs were falling apart. Bathrooms very small they it looked like were once closets. The towels were very old and stained. I was just glad that we could get all our money back after seeing it. And the only way to get to the outside was though the door toward the road and it was very warm inside

A poorly maintained property.

I DO NOT RECOMMEND RENTING THIS PROPERTY. This home is right on the beach so the location could not be better. The home is sadly neglected, in poor condition and a very poor value for what it rents for. The interior hasn’t been painted in decades, cob webs all over, the beds all are saggy and bothered our backs. The windows in the master bedroom are completely frosted so you can’t see out, and there was NO place to hang anything in that room. We enjoyed our time at the beach and would NEVER rent this property again. It also makes me suspect about the rental agent.

Repeat use of house 136

This about the fourth year the Ryder family has used this house. The configuration is perfect for our 3 families. The huge increase in price is not warranted or appreciated.

Great location-Adequate lodging

We were prepared for a funky beach house. What we were not prepared for was being transferred to the property management company and a completely separate contract including a 3 percent fee for using a credit card. We wrote a check. We had to go to the property management company for pepper, laundry detergent., and a variety of other items. This was not up to the standard that we have come to expect with VRBO rentals. Otherwise we enjoyed the fantastic view and the wood stove. We will return to Pacific City and not this unit.

Camping Expectations

Overall, it worked for our quick getaway and let our extended family make memories on the beach! If you expect better than camping accommodations then you’ll be ok with the house, no frills! It’s old, the floors are brick and rough, the windows could be power washed, the furniture is just good enough, it’s clean enough but there are cobwebs. The porch is great to hang out on because the house blocks most the wind. The beach is right outside, so enjoy it in the sand or in the main living space.

Dated but everything you need at the beach

Incredible view and beach access. You can’t beat this location on the beach. Sunset directly over haystack rock from the living room was incredible! Going north is an easy walk to the brewery and sand hill. Going south is miles of beach littered with sand dollars. Pup enjoyed morning walks on a near empty beach and afternoon play time with neighbors. Waves for boogie boarding were gentle, but fun. Open floor plan allowed visiting during dinner prep. Kitchen had everything we needed including spices. Appliances and decor are dated, but functional except for the dishwasher. When we reported the issue, we were told that a replacement was already on order. Plenty of room for friends and family to join for a day or the whole week.

Oceanfront beach home

The views from this house were spectacular. Being right on the beach in a gated community was perfect for our family adventure over the weekend. Pet friendly was a bonus. The bed in the master was very comfortable. Will be back for sure!

Dirty & Dated. We will never stay again

Besides having no information about how to check-in provided and needing to contact the office to get instructions, the office staff was friendly. We read the reviews of this property prior to arriving & still decided to stay, but won't again. Our first impression was the wall of foggy windows that faced the ocean. 2nd impression was the half-empty energy drink left by someone before us. Maybe the cleaning crew? We noticed the kitchen cupboard ajar & realized the hinge was broken preventing the door from staying closed. Exploring the rooms, there was a red can cap sitting in the middle of the master floor. No idea what that was from. Master windows are too foggy to see through & the curtains are just scary, not to mention all the cobwebs draped throughout the corners of the room. There was mold in the shower & we were forced to look at a disgusting toilet bowl brush when using the restroom. Ample towels were provided & a set of sheets were left in the dryer. The check-out instructions ask us to start a load of towels in the washer before leaving, which is fine, unless you can't open the lid enough to get stuff in there due to being too close to the wall. The stove was dirty, there was food left in the sink drain, the kitchen cabinets were sticky, & there was an inch of dust all over the DVD player. The window below the TV won't close & the wall of windows needs to be rid of mold & mildew, not to mention re-sealed. This property group needs to hire a house cleaner who actually cares about their job, & they should have it deep cleaned while they're at it. Cobwebs on the shelving above the stove in the kitchen and in most corners throughout the house. There are gross red (rust?) drip stains on the wall in the loft above the master bed, & obvious ruts in the master king mattress. The floor is made of bricks that aren't secure in many places. This place needs some serious attention. So much so that I wasn't even interested in using their cooking equipment, although we would have used the coffee maker had there been coffee filters. Extremely unimpressed & glad I brought slippers so my feet didn't have to touch the floors. We had hoped some of the previous reviews had been addressed before we arrived, but it really is a dirty house in disrepair. If we were to buy it, we'd tear it down & start over. It's a shame. Fool us once, but we won’t be fooled again.

Beach house

The house is in need of some TLC like others have mentioned. We loved the location. The view was amazing. Having the beach as your backyard is the best part of this house. The not so great, the beds all had dips that made sleeping not really comfortable. One bathroom didn’t have hot water. The facet in the kitchen leaks if you don’t get it in just the right position. The dishwasher rack needs a wheel replaced to make loading dishes easier. We had a great time. We were two families on vacation together and would stay at this house again.

Bring your allergy meds!

We booked this house memorial wknd. It was a last minute change of plans and we couldn’t believe an oceanfront home was available, but now we know why. I’ll start by saying the location and view were absolutely amazing! If it hadn’t been for that I would have demanded my money back & gone home. The fireplace was nice. The kitchen was well stocked. The kitchen & bathrooms were pretty clean. To our surprise the beds weren’t terribly uncomfortable. The house was very outdated, which may have been all right but it was extremely dusty with cobwebs everywhere. The uneven brick floors and carpets were terrible. We found a half eaten granola bar under the ottoman. The windows were moldy. There was obvious water damage on the walls and the blocked off 3 loft areas. There were space heaters in the back 2 bedrooms that didn’t even work. There are 2 smart TV’s but no WiFi. There was cable in the living room. We all had allergies & headaches in this home because of all the dust & mold. The only way I would return to this home is if it had a serious deep clean and the water damage was repaired. It’s too bad because again, the location and view were breath taking!

Amazing view! House is rundown, needs a little TLC but it was clean

Peaceful gated community. House needs some work. Electric didn't work in one bedroom, tv didn't work in the master, main tv worked but what was on didn't match the title and description making it a guessing game. Great for dogs and kids. Amazing view, floor to ceiling windows, can see the ocean anywhere in the living, dining, kitchen areas.

Not fancy but has everything you need. One of the best stocked kitchens of any place I have stayed.

The property is not the fanciest, but to us it is a perfect place for kids to be able to walk right out on the beach and the view is great! We love it.

Good location but home needs some serious updating.

House has a great location which is the most important feature! The door locks on both entry doors are almost unuseable and locking/unlocking the house up every time you leave and come home becomes very unpleasant. There are outside motion lights on the front and back but they do not work at all so Be careful coming home in the dark. The outlets around the house are just plain unsafe. Some of them come completely out of the floor/wall so if you have kids make sure to watch them very carefully. Also many of the outlets do not work so finding one to charge your phone can be a hassle. The woodburning stove is nice but bring your own firewood if you want to actually use it. The flooring of the home is loose brick which is unstable and uneven throughout the home so watch your step. Also the TV in the master bedroom does not work. It does the job and the location on the beach is great but we won’t be back until some much needed updates happen!
