Quiet (mostly) clean and beautiful

Gorgeously located but a little tricky to get to (situated at the end of a winding dirt road with very tight turns) but views make it worth the effort.

Just What We Needed

This place is just right for a nice and relaxing getaway. It is well up the mountain which allows for the breathtaking views right outside the door, but it is still close to town where you can run in to grab lunch or just drive around. The accommodations were fantastic: the shower was hot, the bed was comfy, the kitchen had plenty to work with, the tv had every channel and all streaming capabilities for watch anything from the Masters to UFC to Netflix. There are two comfy chairs out front overlooking the vast mountainous scenery. It is so pretty that it looks fake. Highly recommend this place A to Z.

beautiful cabin!

photos do not do this cabin justice! the views were insane and the host is amazing and kind. they gave us updates on weather and road conditions since we are not from the area. we we’re snowed in and had to head to the airport at 4am. the plow truck wasn’t supposed to come until later in the day but host made sure they plowed the roads before we even woke up! they even made a little trail for us to walk to the car and removed snow from the vehicle which made it easier to defrost! amazing views and trails. had so much fun there! also cabin is so pretty and clean we really enjoyed our stay! book this cabin!!!

Pictures do not do the view justice!!

I stayed here with my boyfriend and 8 year old and it was perfect for us. We loved having a view with our morning coffee and the short hike up to the outlook area with the bench was easily navigated. The view is absolutely stunning. Don't skimp on the 4 wheel drive for sure though. We got to speak with both of the hosts and they were super nice and answered any questions that we had. I would book this place again in the future.

Beautiful Views in Mountains Close to Denver

Very nice apartment as part of the main house although you have all your own privacy and even a couple of trails right out the door for you. Beautiful mountain views and sunrises and sunsets. Apartment very well laid out with all you need for comfort and relaxation. If you go up in winter you will need a vehicle with 4WD or AWD if the weather is snowy. We will rent this place again. Very close to Denver but you feel like you are far away.

A great little escape.

I have to start my review by saying you really do need FWD to get up to the rental, it is a steep narrow road with switchbacks and no guard rail. This is mentioned in the listing but it’s easy to miss so I feel the need to mention it. Because of the driveway up (it was also a bad snowstorm weekend) we ended up opting to not leave the cabin for the whole weekend. Overall the views are amazing and we even saw a Fox out the window! You get that lovely “in the mountain” feel while not being too far from Denver. The cabin/lower unit provided space is very cute and built with beautiful beetle kill pine. The bed was relatively comfy (can’t speak for the pull out couch which is the second bed option) and the kitchen was decently well stocked for cooking (except for maybe not having foil/shrink wrap). The bathroom is also very nice and the whole unit is clean. Overall it was a cozy place that was a tad tricky to access (at the wrong time of year with a less than ideal car). Their neighbor helped us get on the road in the morning we left so he does get 5 stars for being a lovely snowstorm Angel.

Property is in a beautiful area up in mountains. View is beautiful and the property was ready for early check in. It was snowing the day we checked in and the road to get there was a little challenging. I recommend this property and would stay there again. Host was prompt in answering my questions and provided me with clear directions on how to get to property.

Beautiful Location and Adorable Cabin!

We loved our night at this cabin! The cabin itself was clean and well decorated, we met the landlord briefly and she was super friendly, and the view of the mountains is stunning!! Highly recommend! (Only watchout is the driveway is a bit rough. Our car didn’t have any issues, but make sure yours doesn’t ride too low to the ground.)

Perfect location outside of Denver

Alex was so easy to work with. Check in, communication and cleanliness were all 5 star. Now location - this place is beautiful!! With lookouts and trails on property, we were able to have a view anytime we wanted. We will hopefully come back to CO soon and we will definitely look to rent from Alex and family again. Scenic Views and Colorado Comfort

We were in town for a few days to see family, explore the Denver area, and catch a show at Red Rocks. The apartment is very private and offers spectacular views of the Rockies, whether you’re looking out the windows or hiking up the short, well-marked trail to the scenic viewing point. There is plenty of space in the lodging, and although we didn’t do much cooking, it was well-appointed and would be appropriate for a short or a long stay. Be aware that the property is up on the mountain, so you’ll need to go up a series of switchbacks to get to there. Our Buick “city car” didn’t have any trouble though, and the driveway is well marked. Overall, it was a great place to stay for us. Highly recommend!

Hated to leave!

This was the epitome of a mountain home in Colorado. It was comfortable, very clean, very well decorated, nice towels, very nice bathroom. We couldn’t ask for more! The owners were accessible and extremely friendly. I hope to stay here again.

Great place

We had a wonderful time. We stayed a short time and felt very comfortable. The place is beautiful hreat little hiking trails with lookouts on the property and the owners are very accommodating and friendly. Definitely recommend this place!

Exactly as advertised

Beautiful location, quiet and peaceful. It was the perfect retreat for a few days of R&R that we craved. Close to excellent hiking trails, quaint mountain towns, and Red Rocks amphitheater. We couldn’t have asked for a better set up. The switchback driveway was a bit nerve wracking at first but soon got the hang of it. Aleksandra was responsive and very personable. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would come back again.

40th Anniversary!

This was a beautiful place to stay during our "going down memory lane" week. Our first home starting out together was in Evergreen. We lived there 5 years. The hosts are accommodating for meeting any needs. Highly recommend and would visit again.
