Das Moose Meadow Log Cabin ist ein wunderschönes, abgelegenes Blockhaus im Roosevelt National Forest nahe dem Fuße des Mount Meeker. Aus den Fenstern des Great Room werden Sie mit wilden Tieren begrüßt, die die Wiesen und den saisonalen Frühlingsstrom besuchen, oder Sie sitzen in einer Wippe auf dem weitläufigen Deck vor dem Haus und haben ein echtes Rocky Mountain-Erlebnis, eine sanfte Brise und eine nach Kiefern duftende Luft Blauer Himmel über 300 Tage im Jahr. Nachts ist es ein Traum für Sterngucker.

Diese Blockhütte verfügt über alle Annehmlichkeiten eines modernen Zuhauses, eine voll ausgestattete Küche mit Geschirrspüler, Elektroherd und Mikrowelle. Unterlegscheibe. Trockner, Gasgrill, Telefon, WiFi, Internet und Sat-TV. Entschuldigung, kein Handy-Service.

Very good experience

This was our first experience with VRBO. We were very impressed. The property was amazing! We really liked the seclusion it offered. "Off the beaten path" is a good description and was exactly what we were looking for. The kitchen was well-stocked with cooking supplies, the beds were very comfortable and we had everything we needed with the exception of a bbq which was understandably prohibited due to on-going fire danger. We spent a lot of time on the deck. A yearling moose came by for dinner in the meadow and obviously to get his picture taken. The hummingbirds provided lots of amusement, too. One issue we had was cooling the upstairs area in the evening. Even though the downstairs was refreshingly cool, all the heat rose to the upper level and with only 1 opening window the ceiling fan just did not provide enough cross-ventilation. Luckily we had brought a small fan and that helped a bit. We didn't loose much sleep. We were warned that bad weather had taken down a lot of trees in the area. The hard-working crews clearing them out respected our privacy, keeping the noise to a minimum as best they could. We couldn't believe they were accomplishing so much without impacting the peace and quiet that this cabin inspires. This was a very enjoyable stay for us. We will certainly check out other VRBO offerings in the future but this one would be hard to beat.

Perfect Mountain Retreat

This cabin was the perfect mountain retreat! My family and I saw tons of wildlife and there is also a stream to checkout fish! The property is large enough to go hiking on so you can have a relaxing wilderness experience without going anywhere! Definitely recommend!

Home away from home

We loved this cabin. It was very rustic and in the woods. We saw a variety of wildlife over our stay. It was close to Estes Park and Rocky Mountain National Park. It was clean, cozy, spacious and comfortable. It was nestled in beautiful surroundings. Management staff was friendly and efficient to all our needs. We are looking forward to returning to Moose Meadow cabin again soon.

A Little Slice of Heaven

This was our fourth trip to Moose Meadow and we’re ready to plan our fifth. This is the perfect place to get away from the hustle and bustle and enjoy nature. There’s definitely no other place like it.

Picture perfect cabin in the mountains

Moose Meadows is a charming log cabin full of antiques, curios, & large windows. Both bathrooms have clawfoot tubs. One has the shower extension with great water pressure. The well water is cold and tasty. Rocking chairs on the deck look out over a private meadow with mountains in the distance. The cabin and location are very relaxing. We did not see any animals at the cabin but saw lots in nearby RMNP. We hope to return.

Picture perfect

When you picture a cabin in your head, this is what you picture. The amazing exposed wood log cabin is wonderfully appointed and decorated with love and attention to detail. I was stunned with the age of the cabin, all knickknacks, artwork, and comfortable furniture that it was immaculately clean. The views are picturesque from each window. The mid-stairway nook was a favorite place to relax for our two kids. We were only here two nights, but saw moose, deer, hummingbirds, chipmunks, bats, and a giant owl. I can’t recommend it enough. If you’re considering staying here, don’t hesitate.

Wish We Could've Stayed Longer!

This weekend getaway was just what I needed right before a business trip to Denver. My wife and I didn't turn the TV on at all! We did look out the windows hours each day though :) The wildlife was so entertaining to watch. Literally, during the last hour of the last day, two elk cows appeared in the meadow and were hanging out within eyesight as we left. The cabin was very clean and well-stocked. We highly recommend this cabin and hope to be back next year.

A Great Stay in the Mountains

We stayed there to be close to Rocky Mountain National Park, be out of the hustle of Estes Park and this house fit the bill. The house was well stocked and the managers extremely responsive and helpful. The only “downside” is that the house does not have a lot of storage area (clothing and pantry items, we did not want to use the existing pantry because it was already stocked with food and supplies). We made do.

Perfect Stay

This cabin was exactly what we needed to relax after a week of touring around CO. Loved the setting and the seclusion of the cabin. Perfect location to explore RMNP. The cabin is well appointed and we enjoyed the outdoor space. Highly recommend!

Rocky Mountain Half Marathon Vacay

We stayed here to prep for our #vacationraces Rocky Mountain 5K and Half Marathon. This was a great place to rest up and enjoy the sights. On our first day, we walked into the cabin and headed to the living room and out the window we saw a mother moose with her two calves. It was an awesome sight and let us know this was going to be a great trip. We saw so many wild animals during this trip, it really made the trip. The cabin was great to stay in clean and kept. Definitely off the beaten path and great to see stars at night. I would highly recommend this place for others and hopefully will be able to stay again for future races.

Absolutely Perfect!

We couldn't have asked for a more perfect location and home for our vacation. The house was clean and well-appointed, and there was an abundance of wildlife to view everyday from chipmunks and birds to bobcats and moose! Needless to say, we did not want to leave. Best vacation spot

Had a mamma and baby moose come to visit almost every day! Just down the road from Lily Lake and a short drive into Estes. This was our 3rd annual trip and already booked for the same week next year. We love it here and look forward to our trip all year.

We loved this beautiful cabin! We loved how it is secluded back in trees where either day or night it is so peaceful! We saw so much wildlife right outside the cabin. We would definitely stay here again!

Restful Beautiful Stay Thank You!

First and foremost I accidentlly canceled my own reservation. Rob worked with me to get rebooked. I was very appreciative for that help. The communication from property owners was excellent and very truly kind! We truly enjoyed our stay at the cabin and the wildlife around was the best part. The kitchen was well equipped with everything one would need for cooking. Maybe bring own spices if you plan on cooking as many were expired. My mother found a small spot of blood on her comforter in the bedroom downstairs. She just flipped it around to the other end, but maybe replacing that comforter would be best. The washer and dryer worked great! The internet worked, but was spotty at times. The instructions on garbage was a little confusing as the intro email received states to "place the trash bags in the bear proof trash containers in the garage". We could not get into garage as we needed a code. Upon further inquiring, we were instructed to put garbage in the entry way trash, which is fine, but we had a little more that could really fit (we stacked on top of each other). We were also told we could drive the garbage to an address in Estes if we did not have room. My only complaint with this rental was essentially the cleaning process and cleaning fee. We paid a large amount for a cleaning fee, but basically cleaned it ourselves having done the dishes, emptied the trash, removed all sheets, and started a load of towels. I am totally fine doing these things having a past in housekeeping, but not sure why we would be charged a cleaning fee when we did the majorityof the cleaning. All in all it was a great stay and we made wonderful memories. I mean no malice in my critique, just some basic feedback. The owners were very helpful with accommodating our cancelation issue, and for that I am very thankful. I would recommend booking with this property for anyone wanting to stay near Estes Park. Not every place is perfect, but the wildlife around the cabin makes those little imperfections miniscule. Thanks for a wonderful stay.

Re-connecting at Moose Meadow Cabin

The cabin is everything we expected. We had not been together as a family since Christmas 2019 and just had the best time together making lots of new memories. A favorite part of each day was watching the critters in the morning. Our last day we were blessed with a visit from a Bull Moose right as we were packing up. What a treat!

Lovely stay

We really enjoyed our stay at Moose Meadow! We saw a momma moose and her baby one morning. And a large bull elk one evening. The cabin/house was nicely appointed and very clean and tidy. Great place near RMNP

Beautiful location, great log cabin that was very cozy, easy to get back and forth to Estes Park and RMNP but when in cabin felt like you were far away in the woods. Highly recommend.

We'll be back next year!

Took our 1st family vacation here with our 8 month old daughter. We love the location and seclusion of this cabin. Spent time at Lilly Lake, St Vrain River, Allenspark and Estes Park. Lots to do close by. Beautiful, cozy cabin!
