San Simeon ist das Tor zu Big Sur und eine perfekte "Heimatbasis", wenn Sie den malerischen Highway 1, das Elephant Seal Sanctuary oder das berühmte Hearst Castle besuchen möchten. Nur 5 Minuten südlich zum malerischen Cambria, das für seinen seelenvollen Charme, Galerien, Einkaufsmöglichkeiten und Restaurants bekannt ist. Etwas abgelegen von der Hektik eines bevölkerteren Strandbereiches, ist dies ein ruhiger Ort, wo Menschen sich entspannen und erholen. Nur wenige Schritte von der Hintertür zum Strand, einfacher Zugang für lange romantische Spaziergänge im Sand. Sie sind nur einen kurzen Spaziergang von den Restaurants und Geschäften in San Simeon entfernt. Keine Haustiere erlaubt. Nicht mehr als 4 Gäste zu jeder Zeit. This place is a keeper!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: I can see no reason to stay at any other place on the Central California coast, as this one is absolutely perfect! The location is unparalleled, sitting on the edge of about a 20 foot high bluff over the beach, with the back door opening from the living/dining area right onto a flagstone patio with comfortable Adirondack chairs, overlooking the beach. The dining table has a view to die for, and sits in front of large plate glass windows that uniquely meet at an angle, affording a view up and down the beach in both directions. The kitchen is well-stocked (I love to cook, and am rather picky about this), the bed in the master bedroom (the only one we have slept on) is quite comfortable, and the en suite bathroom has a spacious walk-in shower. Any interactions with the manager on site (great guy, sometimes staying in the condo directly above), and staff in Cambria, have always been excellent. This is our second stay here, and unlike the first visit, this time I was unable to get the gas fireplace lit, but no matter, the ocean and beach views trump all. Be prepared for some spectacular sunsets! And with everything on the ground floor, it is perfect for us, as my wife uses a walker and wheelchair. I seriously will not consider staying at any other place now on the coast.

Always Amazing!

A peaceful getaway

All in all I had a lovely stay. It was just the peaceful break that I needed. I initially had a hard time finding it but other than that it was PERFECT. I hope to go back in the future!

Fantastic property, great location

What a beautiful stay right on the ocean with a private staircase down to the beach. Well maintained property. We can’t wait to come back. Be advised you’ll need to stop in Cambria on the way in to sign a contract before you can get the door code. No idea why this is necessary given the contract through Vrbo, but it isn’t too much out of the way, unless you’ve been driving all day and paperwork isn’t high on your todo list.

I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Superb quiet location (except for the pounding of the surf!) with great views of sea life and the coast line - very relaxing! I would say if this unit is only in fair condition - many of the electrical outlets are “sprung” and need to be replaced, and we had flickering of the lights in one bedroom. For the most part, the furniture and decor it’s also dated. On the positive side, the bathrooms and kitchen have been recently remodeled.

One of the only things missing was the sun.

This unit is accurately described, and comfortable stay in for two for a weekend. The living room is set up a bit awkward with a couch along the wall facing the TV, then a table, and then two recliner lounges, also facing the TV. (not a comfortable arrangement, for us, anyway). Also, it would be nice if some of the windows opened in the living area. All in all, it was amazing to be right on the beach and we got to enjoy one beautiful sunset!

Lovely beachfront location

We’ve visited San Simeon many times. This was our first beachfront rental. The view was spectacular and we could hear waves at night. The condo was very clean and had everything necessary for a good stay. We worked each morning and found the internet fast. Loved the main floor walkout to watch the sunset. There is a Mexican restaurant and a few diners a short walk away. Cambria has plenty of dining and grocery shops. The best beach for families is San Simeon State Park which is calm. We hope to visit again in a month.

Location was perfect. The ocean is right outside the patio door. House was spotless, beds we’re comfortable and location was so quiet. All we ever heard was the sounds of the waves. Highly recommend

Very clean and well taken care of. The locations a just as described!! Cambria and San Simeon are absolutely the most wonder places to visit. Not over crowded and have many things to offer. The condo had the best location to walk on the beach and adventure to tidal pools to see the wild life. Just a short jaunt to Hearst Castle and the Elephant seals! I would high recommend this place to rest and relax!!!
