Washington House wurde ursprünglich im Jahr 1900 erbaut. Die jetzigen Besitzer haben das Potenzial dieses großen alten Hauses erkannt und es wortwörtlich in die Gestüte geschafft. Diese totale Umgestaltung war eine Arbeit der Liebe und jetzt ein Show-Stück zu teilen. Einige Upgrades umfassen: Neue Umlaufwasserheizung auf Wunsch, neue Fenster, neue Elektro-, Sanitär-, Isolierung, Rigipsplatten, Farbe (in / out), Fußböden, Badezimmer, Lichter. Alles ist neu; Möbel, Einrichtungsgegenstände, Dekor, Geräte und weiche Güter. Die einzigen erhaltenen Originalstücke sind der Kamin und das Buntglasfenster in der Küche.

Das Washington House liegt an einer schönen, von Bäumen gesäumten Straße, nur wenige Gehminuten vom Whitman College und der Innenstadt von Walla Walla entfernt.

Great place for a family reunion

We live out of town but have family in Walla Walla. Washington House was a great place for us to gather, relax, and also to walk downtown and to get to other attractions. This is our second stay and we were very happy!

Fabulous NYE Getaway

We loved the house especially since there were two en-suites with king beds. It was perfect for two couples wanting their own space. We didn't use the hot tub but loved the open floor plan kitchen/dining area to have game nights. We will come back!

Wonderful home base for a wine tasting weekend

Beautiful home! Tastefully decorated and well equipped. 3 bedrooms with en-suite bathrooms. Quaint neighborhood that’s only a 15 min walk from downtown. We loved our stay here and would definitely book this again!

Beautiful Property, Great Location!

We could not have been happier with our stay at the Washington house! The home is lovely, and I every amenity we could think of was at our fingertips. Fenced in backyard was a Plus for our dog and the hot tub was wonderful for relaxing in the evening. Plus we could easily walk to Whitman’s beautiful campus in no time. Highly recommend!!

Gorgeous home for wine country escape

From the start of our booking, the host was so helpful and responsive. We really appreciated her! And this beautiful home sparkles throughout and was perfectly appointed for our group of four adult friends. We had the best time cooking in the gorgeous kitchen, grilling and hanging out in the hot tub. A really lovely home in a fantastic location, and we would love to stay there again.

Wonderful accommodations walking distance to downtown!

Beautifully remodeled and dog friendly property near downtown! It was plenty of space for our group of 6 and it was a wonderful home to spend time between wine tasting! Kitchen is huge and was the center of our group gatherings in the mornings and evenings!

Awesome property

Great home and location

This is the second time I’ve stayed in this home. It’s great for a girls weekend or a couples weekend…it basically has 3 master bedrooms with a full bathroom for each room. The location is great, the house is clean and the kitchen is very well equipped.

Perfect Location for Everything in Walla Walla

Staying at this home was the best part of our family vacation. The house is absolutely gorgeous and super comfortable. Everything inside the house is top-notch: comfortable beds, very clean, plenty of kitchen items, and great instructions. I was surprised by how large the fenced yard is! It would be great in warm weather. We were able to easily walk to the downtown area several times which made the location perfect. If you are on the fence about booking, I promise you will not be disappointed! It is spectacular.

Wonderful Walla Walla weekend

Our group of 3 couples thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this this property. The remodel was well done giving this place a warm and welcoming feel. Plenty of space for everyone and a great common area for everyone to enjoy together. It was very clean and very well stocked. Location was very convenient. We walked downtown for dinner the first night.

Great House for 3 Couples

Every bedroom has it's own large well stocked bathroom. The kitchen is big and well equipped. The beds and all other furniture is very comfortable! A 10 minute walk to downtown...a 5 minute walk to Whitman College.

Beautiful home for a weekend away

The Washington House is great for a weekend away and perfect setup for three couples with each room having their own bathroom. All the amenities you would get at a hotel (toiletries, bath robe, coffee) and kitchen is fully stocked with every type of pan/cooking utensil/dish you might need for entertaining. In a quiet neighborhood, beautiful tree lined streets, and only a 15 min wall to town for whopping and wine tasting. Will definitely book again.

Amazing home

We had an incredible stay over the weekend. Close enough to town to walk in for dinners and breakfasts. Or great areas to explore in the nearby neighborhoods- parks, Whitman College, unique homes. The house was perfect for out two couples. And although we didn't cook in the kitchen, it was well appointed and had everything you'd need for a party or easy dinner. We will definitely try to rent again when we come back.

Family gathering to celebrate daughter's Whitman graduation

As described: beautifully renovated home with all the amenities you might possibly need. Great setting for a party. Loved the firepit and the hot tub jets were perfect for winding down. Everything was spotless. Would be closer to perfection were grass to replace the gravel in the back yard. Ample street parking yet easy walk into town and Whitman campus. So glad we picked this place for our celebration!

Lovely property in the heart of Walla Walla

The property is well kept and beautifully updated. It is located in a quite residential neighborhood within easy walkable distance to Pioneer Park and Whitman University. We found the house to be open and bright and served as a wonderful gathering place for our family. Enclosed backyard and off street parking were a wonderful bonus. A truly delightful stay!

Washington House Owners: Dan and Ginny want to live in a world filled with good food, good wine, fun and a force field around their house that repels messy teenagers.

He is an emergency room physician with over 20 years experience who won numerous awards for physician of the year. She is a critical care nurse practitioner who cannot sit still and needs to have at least 5 projects going to be successful. Together they have 4 children, 3 boys and the youngest, a 14 year old girl (send wine!).

When they are not working at their day jobs or working at the house, you can find them traveling, making gourmet meals in the kitchen. (Just kidding, usually driving someone to a sports practice, cleaning up after kids, or answering the question why for the eleventy-bajillionth time).
