Perfect place for us!!

Beautiful home and the location was amazing and just right for us! Loved everything about it and easy check in and out process. Owners seem very kind and home was clean. We were even able to easily get our aunt in and out who is wheelchair bound! Thank u so much for sharing your beautiful home with us for family memories to be made. We would recommend anyone stay in this fabulous place!! We fell in love with all of it!!Most amazing sunrises and sunsets I have ever seen! Simply perfect!

Great location; aging property

This was a beautifully situated house with easy access to many Tucson sights and views of the surrounding mountains. The house is spacious with lots of natural light and desert landscaping. It was clearly an upscale home in its day, with tile floors, large rooms and a well maintained pool. However, it is showing signs of age, needing some repairs and updating of appliances. We can recommend for a family gathering.

Wonderful stay!

Our family (including family dog) loved staying in this home. The house, although showing a bit of deferred maintenance, was loaded with character and charm. And the views! Where do I start - absolutely stunning vistas from every window. Quiet, private, beautifully landscaped. We look forward to returning to this home!

Great Experience

We really enjoyed our stay here. The history and architecture really were the crown jewel of our stay but the outdoor space and proximity to everything made it the perfect spot. Keep in mind this is a mid century modern home that is 70 some years old so expect a unique experience. Loved it!

This home has so much character!

We stayed for 5 nights in this beautiful house. It has so much character and charm. It’s older but that’s what makes it so special. Sitting outside on the patio enjoying our coffee each morning was the best! It was so relaxing and peaceful. The neighborhood is quiet. The view is amazing. The host was wonderful! It was the little things that they paid attention to that are what made our stay so warm and welcoming. We would definitely stay at this house with Roger as a host again!

The Good Lovely home and area. Easiest check in ever! Fantastic southwestern architecture. The Bad Pool and decking need some love. A diamond back rattlesnake was lodging in the pool deck cracks. Kitchen didn’t have storage bowls or lids for leftovers and only one small cutting board. The Ugly Promised by owner the return of $500 deposit, but weeks later and no return in sight.

The property was absolutely fantastic for our family. An abundance of room inside and outby the pool. The dining room table and the living space overall was perfect for our family. Fantastic location and setting

The location and the view were fabulous. Isolated on a hill top w views of mountains and the city. Pool too cold to swim in when were there but very nice. Could us some plush betting for the price, down comforters and high quality sheets. It was all fine though. Major complaint I have is I am still waiting on my 500$ deposit refund. Home since 11/22- it's 12/1 and still not check. I will update this once received from Home Away- way too long in my opinion.

Wonderful property and house with character

We stayed here to celebrate my grandma's 96th birthday. The house is well suited for the elderly (all one level). The covered patio and pool area is absolutely lovely! The house is from the 1950s and my grandma actually knew the Udall family who lived here! We had a great time! The house is well equipped, the beds are comfy, everything looked clean. There's some wear and tear due to age but nothing that causes issues. I'd definitely stay here again! And Roger was very helpful and always responded via phone or text. Great place!

Tucson just like I like it

This home evokes a certain feeling about Tucson. The Natural setting is amazing. You are greeted by the cooing mourning doves, and the delicate scent of jasmine, against the beautiful backdrop of the Catalinas and that makes it perfect for enjoying just being there. The home is equip with all you need and gobs of pool floats made it so much fun! Roger was a super host and easy to communicate with. If you are looking for bling & luxe, maybe this isn't quite it...but it's a wonderful part of Tucson's foothills community-just what we were after.

What a wonderful home. We loved the privacy and the layout of the home. Also a very large kitchen to accomodate all of our cooking as well. We definately will be stayiing her again. Roger the owner was extremely friendly and answered all of our questions.

Prime location

Beautiful western ranch architectural design, great location for view and access to stores, shops, restaurants, trails, etc. Neighborhood was great for morning walks. We enjoyed the pool and rec room amenities. The panoramic views from property were impressive. Lots of windows, loved that! The house could use some updates or at least some repair in cabinetry, both kitchen and master bath. It would have been nice if there were two beds in at least one room, two of our kids slept on the couch covered with sheets and blankets and found it comfortable (not a sleeper sofa).
