Genießen Sie spektakuläre Sonnenuntergänge und einen herrlichen Blick auf die Bucht in diesem gemütlichen Ferienhaus an der Bucht. Wunderschön eingerichtet mit einer Auswahl an Möbeln im Shabby Chic-Stil, einem bezogenen Sofa, einer neuen Königin-Memory-Foam-Matratze und einem Bett im Schlafzimmer.
Die kleine Küche verfügt über einen 2-Flammen-Elektroherd, einen Heißluftofen, eine Mikrowelle und einen unteren Rand. Es gibt auch einen kleinen Gefrierschrank.
Alles ist inbegriffen, um Ihren Aufenthalt so angenehm wie möglich zu gestalten. Geschirr, Besteck, Bettwäsche usw. sind vorhanden. Flachbildfernseher verfügt über Satelliten-DVR und DVD-Player. Auf Wunsch stellen wir Ihnen einen Kartentisch mit Stühlen oder einen zusätzlichen Hocker zur Verfügung. Wenn es irgendetwas gibt, das Sie brauchen, das nicht da ist, dann können wir es sicher in die Tat umsetzen.

Very nice they have an awesome view of the bay and a very nice garden. Just a short drive a cross the bay to the shops or casino. The cabin was very comfortable and pleasantl Would surely recomed it. Nice people with a rich history of the coast

AMAZING!

This place is a small piece of heaven! Everything about it was wonderful down to the fine detail provided with everything available in this cottage type home. Magical cottage & beautiful view

I felt so welcomed and comfortable, romantic and relaxed in Jan’s old fashioned decor. Top notch equipment and very clean, lovely bedding and furniture. We wished we stayed longer. Talking with Jan and Ace was a plus. She gave me some websites where I can buy bedding and curtains like hers so I can convalesce after a surgery this winter and feel cozy and relaxed in my bedroom!! Magical!!!!!

Where do I even begin? This property is absolutely beautiful. From the second we drove down the driveway I was in love with it. The cottage is so comfortable, sweet, warm and welcoming. Pictures do not do justice for the relaxing feeling of touching and snuggling in the carefully chosen linens in the home. I could have stayed in bed all day! The flowers, water feature, sculptures/decor and plantings around the home are spectacular. I have paid to go into gardens much less impressive. It was very obvious the owners spent time preparing the gardens before we arrived so we could fully enjoy them. They take great pleasure making sure their guest enjoy what they have created. The cottage has everything you need. The oven looks like a toaster oven but absolutely cooks like a full-size oven. That surprised me! The sunset view of the bay from the front porch is gorgeous! I could go on for hours telling you how much I love this cottage! Thank you, Jan and Ace, for sharing your cottage with us. Give OC and Kitty a rub for us.

Great Stay!

Great hosts! Great location for exploring the beautiful coast! Beautiful view! Beautiful gardens! Sweet and beautifully appointed place. Had all you would need. Anniversary trip!

The cottage was really beautiful and the attention to detail was impeccably thoughtful. The gardens were gorgeous and watching the rise and fall of the bay gave many opportunities for peace and relaxation. We enjoyed meeting Jan and Ace, our gracious hosts. The amount of love poured into the cottage and property is incredibly evident everywhere you turn. We are grateful and blessed to have spent our anniversary here.

Beautiful cottage on the bay!

We had a wonderful, relaxing stay at the cottage! It was truly a pleasure to meet Jan and Ace and to see the love and attention to detail they have created for all of us to enjoy! North Bend Cottage

This is a great cottage for a Coos Bay --North Bend stay. It IS located on the East side of the bay so a short drive from highway 101 on east bay drive. The cottage facility is on the second floor but very NICE with a great view.. The drive way can be daunting but once down it is easy peasy. Terrific owners and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

We absolutely loved our stay at this charming cottage. The interior decor, flowers on the wrap around deck and surrounding gardens make this cottage cozy and comforting. It had everything we needed to make out short stay enjoyable.

Zu Gast bei Jan and Ace Hickman

We came to North Bend in 2001 to take care of Jan's parents for the last 6 years of their lives. We now own and live in the home they built in the 70's (finished in 1973). The guest house is the cottage we are offering to travelers who are coming to the Oregon Coast and is where we lived for the 6 years we took care of the folks. Jan grew up here, having graduated from North Bend High School in 1969... so we are pretty knowledgeable about the area and what to do and see while you are here. Ace is from the East Coast and is currently restoring the main house on the property.

Darum fiel die Entscheidung auf diese Unterkunft

We are the second generation to own this property. It was designed and built by Jan's parents. They sat on a stump of a tree overlooking the bay and drew out the plans for their dream home to retire in placing every thought into maximizing the view. They built the cottage first and lived in it while building the main house. After that the "guest house" welcomed travelers from all over the world... even an occasional hitch-hiker was invited to stay back in the 1970's and 1980's. We have a history of old guest books with entries written in many different languages.

Cozy and warm with awesome views of the bay and North Bend across the bay. The 10' x 24' deck on the back is the perfect retreat in summer as it is protected from the wind and gets very warm and sunny. A short drive to beaches and sand dunes, and if you love to browse vintage shops we have some great ones in our little town!
For those who are not so familiar with the pacific northwest, I would like to let you know that the best weather for our summer season runs from about mid-July through late September... sometimes even into October.
