Great Winter trip

We really enjoyed using the hot tub and building fires in the wood burning stove. It was winter so the neighborhood was quiet. We had a beautiful view of the lake and drove to the other side to see the pretty sunset. It was close to Gaylord so if you needed anything it was right there! We had great communication with the owners so that was a giant plus! The house was pretty well stocked but don't forget your beach towels! Over all we would definitely go back!

Best Rental!!!!

We will definitely be repeat guests. Between the price, amenities, cleanliness and customer experience with Doreen, this was hands down one of the best rentals I’ve encountered in the last 10 years of renting. We loved our time at Otsego Lake

The property was very nice and clean. We loved the hot tub and rides in the paddle boat. My husband enjoyed fishing off the dock even though we soon learned that the lake wasn't great for fishing as it was very shallow. Great location, only an hour drive to different tourist spots, like Petoskey, traverse city, and Mackinac. Dorene was a great host and she had great communication and was very accommodating when we had an issue with the dishwasher. The only thing I'd suggest is allowing for shorter minimum night stays, 7 nights was a little too long for us. Other than that, we really enjoyed our stay!

Comfortable and cute

Very cute cabin that was well equipped. The beach was okay, but not what I would call "fluffy sand." The bottom of the lake was pretty mucky and hard for the kids to enjoy. Overall, it was a good place to stay.

Great experience!

Our stay was great! The property was exactly as described and the house was well equipped with everything we needed. The hot tub worked well and most importantly was very clean. Plenty of room to park our boat in the driveway. Dorene was a wonderful host and provided clear instructions and great advise on local things to check out. I definitely recommend to anyone to stay at Serenity cabin

We had a great time at this property. The house is updated, clean and the views are breathtaking. We enjoyed the water, we boated, fished & ,kayaked. , The host was very accommodating. Great place for a vacation.!

Very Relaxing

We really enjoyed our stay. Beautiful lakefront, enjoyed the kayaks and paddle boat, fires by the lake every night, comfortable house and the WiFi allowed both my wife and I to work remotely. Very nice.

Beautiful and Cozy

Serenity Haus was amazing! The lake views sitting on the deck were gorgeous. It was quiet and peaceful with all the comforts of home. Really had that cabin feel! Owners were very friendly and answered all our questions. I have only 2 suggestions. I wish there had been some type of awning or cover outside in case of rain and also an area to be able to cover wood. Will definitely be back very soon n bringing friends!! Thanks so much!

Awesome beach house on the lake

Great little spot on the lake. We had 4 adults and 3 kids and it worked out perfectly. Wood burning stove and hot tub are essential in February and really make it a nice cozy ski cabin for winter months. We went 20 minutes down the road to treetops. Thank you Serenity Beach House.

This cabin was perfect for us, on the lake, and can drive snowmobiles to the trails or to town without having to trailer them, direct access! Will stay again!

Very happy with our stay

The property had a beautiful view of the fall colors across the lake, the hot tub was wonderful, the area is very peaceful. We will come next time when the dock available for better fishing. The paddle boat was a joy. House had everything we needed.

Great place

Really enjoyed our stay (the mattresses were comfortable with the toppers). The shower was amazing and so was the hot tub. The place was well stocked with basics and clean. My only complaint was that the food storage was limited, but we made it work! Would happily return.

Good but could be excellent

Lovely place to stay but lots of noise and construction going on next door. Also both beds need to be updated with at least foam mattresses as the mattresses on the property are old and very uncomfortable. We are in our late 60’s and need to have nice beds to sleep on otherwise our bodies hurt in the morning. This was the case. I would rent again if this problem was resolved. Please inform me if this issue is handled as we come up to Gaylord every year. Sometimes twice a year to visit family. The place was well stocked and clean.

The homes which we offer are our own personal paradises which we stay at as much as possible.

We love sharing our Vacation Homes to create memories with their families just as we have as well as give you an experience living in the area which you will never forget. All the homes are strictly set up for the Vacationer in mind and all in highly desirable areas with so many different type of activities imaginable for any age group.
