In einer wunderschönen Schlucht am Fuße des San Marcos Passes liegt Rancho Los Gatos nur 2 Meilen von der Autobahn entfernt, fühlt aber in einer wunderschönen Berglandschaft Welten.

Das Hauptschlafzimmer befindet sich auf dem oberen Flügel des Hauses, mit seinen und ihren begehbaren Schränken und einem großen en-suite Bad mit Badewanne. Zwei Gästezimmer sind auf dem unteren Flügel des Hauses, mit einem Jack-and-Jill Badezimmer, ein Layout sehr gut geeignet für kleine Familien. Ein drittes Zimmer hat zwei Einzelbetten, und es gibt auch ein separates Büro mit einem Schlafsofa, der einen privaten Platz für einen Urlaub oder komfortable Unterkünfte für Übernachtungsgäste bietet. Mit 3300 Quadratmeter auf über 7 Hektar, ist dieses schöne Haus wie Ihr eigener privater Rückzug.

Klassische Moderne in Hanglage

Dieses mit viel Liebe zum Detail möblierte Haus liegt abgeschieden und dennoch nur 15 Autominuten von Santa Barbara entfernt. Es ist geprägt von der offen gehaltenen Architektur und den großen Fensterfronten aber auch von der sehr umfangreichen Sammlung asiatischer Bilder und Skulpturen. Die Terrasse und der Infinity Pool sind nach Süden ausgerichtet. Hier fehlte leider ein Sonnenschutz, um Liegen oder Loungemöbel tagsüber zu nutzen. Der Pool war sehr gepflegt, die Kissen für die Außenmöbel hingegen leider weniger ansehnlich. Das Haus verfügt über zwei getrennte Klimaanlagen von denen jedoch nur eine funktionierte. Darüber wurden wir am Anreisetag informiert. Besonders abends und morgens hätten wir gern den Wohnbereich damit geheizt.

Gorgeous and well appointed property just minutes from Santa Barbara…yet felt remote. Spacious for our group of four girls getting away for a long weekend. Great communication with the owner who just wants guests to be comfortable and have a great time.

Exceptional

Everything about this property is outstanding. The beauty of the natural surroundings is rivaled only by the exquisite interior design and decor. The host could not be more responsive or accommodating. The location is both remote and easily accessible to everything, the perfect combination. We’ve had many favorable VRBO experiences but this by far was the best. The only thing we’d share is that the home and appliances are somewhat dated so as long as you’re not expecting brand new you will absolutely adore your experience there

Exceeding expectations

Spectacularly beautiful, serene and luxurious. This home exceeded all expectations. Every facet of our stay was very well thought out from the initial welcome basket to the fine linens and toiletries. It made you feel like you were in a 5 star resort while being in complete privacy. The owners were very attentive to our every need, concierge service. We look forward to staying again soon.

Truly One of a Kind

We had an awesome week of celebrations - two Birthdays, Father’s Day, & a UCSB Graduation — all shared in this amazing home! The house is even more incredible and one of a kind than the photos show! We LOVED every second of our time in it! Both the indoor & outdoor spaces are fantastic! We used all of it - from cooking & eating to swimming & walking around the property. It is a perfect space made exceptional by Nancy & Geoff! From the kitchen to the great room, from the master bedroom & bath to the screened sunroom, from the TV cozy nook to the two smaller bedrooms. The walls of glass & sliding doors throughout are perfect! The details and extra touches were so welcoming & wonderful...throw blankets, candles, pool towels, comfy outdoor furniture, lighting, unbelievable art, and the sweetest Happy Birthday banner (So thoughtful! Thank you!!). Our days were full of sunshine, and the night sky shined bright with so many stars! It is truly one happy home that I hope we are able to share again in the future. Thank you so much for making our week extra special. We LOVED our family time here!

Beautiful home, beautiful location above Santa Barbara

Wow. This is a serene setting. Spacious. Airy. Tons of windows with stunning views of the ocean. Comfortable and beautifully kept. Fascinating artwork, exquisitely displayed. A grand kitchen wonderfully equipped. Perhaps best of all, an attentive host eager to offer copious tips to customize a perfect visit for us. We had a great time, and we will surely return.

Simply spectacular stay....

Our family always chooses a house to rent for Labor Day weekend and this one was one of our all time favorites. Truly incredible views from all over the house - peaceful, comfortable and well appointed. We absolutely loved our stay and will be back.

Birthday celebration above Santa Barbara!

We had a group of 6 adults in the house for 5 nights in August. We have four August birthdays in our family - yes, all Leos... - and typically rent a house someplace fun to gather. This year was Santa Barbara. We were so fortunate to have found Nancy and Geoff's place just above Santa Barbara off San Marcos Pass Road. At first we were a bit concerned that we were too far outside of downtown, but turned out to not be an issue. It was easy to be parked downtown 10 - 15 minutes after leaving the house. And the benefit was this incredible setting, and the equally incredible house. The house is a stunning example of contemporary architecture that fits the site. Our soon to be son in law recently graduated from USC Architecture School and was very impressed by the house design and interior spaces. And Nancy and Geoff have filled the house with unique furniture and tons of amazing art that you rarely see even at a high end VRBO. Super warm and comfortable. The 'zen meditation room' as we called it was a favorite place for us to gather in the late afternoon and chill. The backyard area with the infinity edge pool and amazing views was also a favorite spot to relax. Location allowed us to easily visit wineries in the Los Olivos area, get to hiking trails, quick access to the harbor, and several dinners downtown and in Montecito. Nancy was a FABULOUS host and was always extremely quick to reply to any question or issue we had during our stay. She even provided some fun personalized treats and decorations for our birthdays. This is an incredible place to stay in the Santa Barbara area. Our family will definitely return when we are back in the area!
