Unser 4 Schlafzimmer, 4, 5 Badezimmer, 2.600 Quadratmeter großes Haus wurde 2007 gebaut und befindet sich im Durango Mountain Resort (Purgatory) und ist 24 Meilen von der Innenstadt von Durango (weniger als 30 Minuten Fahrt) entfernt.

Genießen Sie den Komfort eines Skigebiets und genießen Sie gleichzeitig die Privatsphäre und den zusätzlichen Platz eines Hauses mit einer Garage für 2 Autos. Das Resort ist sowohl ein fantastischer Winterspielplatz als auch eine Fülle all Ihrer Lieblingsbergtätigkeiten in einem kühlen und komfortablen Sommerklima auf 8.900 Fuß Höhe. Zur Erleichterung gibt es sowohl im Winter als auch im Sommer einen kostenlosen Shuttleservice auf Abruf zum Skigebiet.

Das Haus verfügt über einen offenen Grundriss, Kathedralendecken, High-End-Geräte, einen Gaskamin und eine tolle Aussicht.

Das Haus befindet sich in der Nähe des Purgatory Flats Trail Head, einer der schönsten und schönsten Wanderungen in der Umgebung sowie eines Angelteichs. Im Winter gibt es eine Langlaufloipe direkt vor der Haustür.

Issues brought to VRC's attention were addressed quickly. One problem with the house (leaky roof with bucket below in a master closet) should have been disclosed beforehand, but was not. Purchase of DMC access was wasted $ (1.The workout area was nicely furnished, but small. 2.Far too many people have access so the hot tub was often beyond capacity). Overall, it was a nice home with a big plus of proximity to Purgatory, and a couple free shuttle rides allowed daily from the resort.

Our stay started a little rough. The dryer was non-functional, the back doors could not be locked, and the internet service was sporadic, requiring the Durango Utility Department to make a trip to the home to try to fix it. Each took away from the enjoyment of the stay. The home could have been cleaned more, especially on the floors, windows, outdoor patio, and furniture. This is a pet-friendly home, and that is understood, but I had to wash a few blankets due to pet urine and hair. My communication with VRC was quick and responsive, and they fulfilled their promise to ensure I was satisfied with my stay. VRC provided effective customer service. I would stay at this home again because the location is beautiful with Twilight Lake, but I would like not to have to clean the house upon arrival.

Excellent location, property management company not so much

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: One of the best neighborhoods to stay in while visiting Purgatory. The location and on-demand shuttle service makes this neighborhood top our list in the past 4 years. This property is as advertised, well decorated and equipped with plenty of kitchen items and great bathroom products. However there was tons of hair all throughout the house (not sure if it was human or animal). The bathtub in the master bath had not been cleaned in some time and some minor repairs are needed (kitchen faucet leaks/shoots water everywhere when pulled out, hair dryer not working, outside furniture broken, etc). All pretty minor.I would have given this property a 4/5 or even a 4.5/out of 5 but the property management company was by far the worst I've experienced in nearly 80 stays between Air BnB and VRBO. 1. They utilize some sort of texting service that is either AI generated or 3rd party from another country (non English). 2. When you call the help number, you are greeted by someone that is less than happy to take your phone call. I don't want much from a host or host company- but basic information requests that should have been delineated in a pre-stay email should be happily answered- not met with rudeness. 3. There was no instructions on how the house should be left, no booklet, no communication via email or text. I had to ask for these and was provided an AI generated list via text an hour before checkout AFTER requesting. 4. Having a simple email with "need to know" information would have been helpful. The Durango Collective (VRC) are clearly more interested in their own branding than actually management. 5. The "live" or maybe "local" person didn't communicate with the "text AI bot" and questions weren't answered.Overall, I hope the ownership of the property can find a different property management company as the property was well suited our two families and the location is the absolute best.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The cabin was very nice. There was no a/c and in 90 degree heat it can be warm in the cabin. The management company was quick to bring us some fans to help. There were a few minor things about the cabin that should be addressed. The railing on the back porch is falling apart. It's not really a big danger to anyone since its only about a 3 foot drop onto some soft grass but we were staying there with 4 toddlers so it was a concern for us. The back door in the living room did not properly lock. Also there was a ton of home construction going on around us. The cabin is not just 1 of four on that road anymore. The washing machine was broken and in the process of being repaired (waiting on parts to come in) but the management team was very quick to find a vacant rental for us to go to and use the washer and dryer. But all and all we loved the cabin and the location and had the best time.

Nice, Cozy and Clean

This cabin exceeded our expectations on every level. My wife and I stayed there with our 12 year old girls and Labradoodles and we ALL loved it. It was immaculate, spacious, nicely decorated and very close to the Ski Village. We had fun playing in the snow in the huge backyard. It was conveniently located to the main entrance of the Resort. We feel very happy to have found this gem and will go back for sure!

Great for family and dog

Great trip. Awesome house. There were 4 adults and 2 grandchildren under 8. Plenty of room. Had trouble with TV and staff was awesome! We just wished there was more snow!!! Kitchen was stocked with some necessities and bathrooms had plenty of toiletries. Definitely recommend. Pet friendly too.
