Roslindale delight

A beautiful, clean and well appointed apartment a stones throw away from Roslindale Village. The owner lives on site and friendly and accommodating. Easy walk to Arnold arboretum is a plus!

Great stay!

We loved many things about our stay. Our host, Georgia, is a great communicator and answered all our questions. She’s very helpful and her place is beautifully well kept. It’s a quaint older house in a funky neighborhood near transit, all basic amenities, and very safe. Our favourite thing was how close it is to Arnold Arboretum. A beautiful park if you love trees, like we do. There’s even a bonsai exhibit most of the year. Would stay here again.

Perfect space

I will share my siblings and I visited Boston as tourists. I had searched for many places and selected this one. Being an investor myself I appreciated the owners desire to get to know us before the stay. When we arrived the home was immaculate in all respects. The location is a little father from airport but the community of Rosindale if lovely. Quaint with eateries and a village market within walking distance. The owner is divine and super helpful with knowledge of the area and had a handy basket and binder of brochures, maps for transit avenues to get you into the City and beyond. Boston is like NYC lots of traffic so having a commuter rail with a block of the home is super helpful. You can’t hear it by the way. I highly recommend selecting this property and community. It is over 100 yrs old. If you rent a car the driveway is narrow but that is just part of the architecture of the historic area.

Beautiful place!

Amazing house! It’s the typical Boston home you want to stay in as you can immerse yourself in the full Bostonian experience! Very well taken care of and in a quiet neighborhood! It’s in a nice area and the home itself is very well taken care of. I will definitely be back again!!

Location location location

Our very short stay at this house was great. Close to transit, buses, trains and food. We personnally loved the house, the type of architecture. The host was one of the best, she greeted us, showed us the best places to eat, travel routes for buses and trains. She is VERY WELL ORGANISED. I would definately come back.

Beautiful home

Very clean and worked well for my family of four. Conveniently located by the train and bus stations. Georgia and her sister were very helpful getting situated, helping us find routes, and even walked us to roslindale square to show us the bus stop and train station. Much appreciated! We had a great first trip to Boston and the apartment suited our needs perfectly.

Georgia's place was terrific. Great Host supplied many things that others don't Very helpful. Location is convenient to Transportation and the village of Rosindale has some great restaurants and coffee shops.

Best host ever!

I wish Georgia could be my host everywhere I go! She may not be from the south but she knows southern hospitality!! The apartment had everything we needed and more. We also had lots of questions about public transportation and she went above and beyond to help us figure out how to get where we wanted to go. The pictures do not do this place justice. It is so cute and homey. And immaculately clean. Beds were super comfy. The village of Roslindale is the cutest! We walked to the village market 3 times and wished we had been able to eat at some of the restaurants there but our timing was never right. Safety was never an issue. It’s a sweet neighborhood and we felt comfortable walking whereever we needed to go. Getting into Boston was easy. We took the commuter rail in the mornings and usually took the subway and bus back home in the evenings because we didn’t want to wait for the train. The train station is just around the corner from the apartment. The bus drops off just down from the train. If we ever come back to Boston, I would definitely stay here again. It was our best VRBO experience to date and we’ve used VRBO for years. Thank you Georgia for your hospitality!

Beautiful, convenient property with fabulous host

The property was lovely, with beautiful hardwoods and details. The gardens were also lovely and I enjoyed looking at the variety of flowers and fauna! It is very conveniently located in walking distance from the Roslindale transit, the village and the Harvard Arboretum. The host and her family were very personable as well. Enjoyable stay

Georgia was helpful and friendly host. The place is very clean, quiet and close to the commuter train stop (not to be confused with the Subway Orange line that goes as far as Forest Hills). The commuter line has reasonable weekend rates. We didn’t use the commuter line since we also wanted to use the subway in Boston and didn’t want to pay both passes so we elected to purchase a seven day Subway pass which is reasonably priced and gave us unlimited access. They have one day passes if you stay less time than we did. A pass is helpful so you don’t have to constantly buy a ticket every time you want to hop on and go somewhere. We walked from the house to the Orange line at Forest Hills through the Arboretum property during the day (20 min walk) and rode the bus back at night. Don’t forget to press the stop request button once you enter the town square area. The daily or weekly pass covers the bus also so no need to pay again just scan and ride. One rainy day we parked at Forest Hills 3.00 weekend and the day we left weekday 9.00. The place had everything. The only thing we could have used was detergent when we went to wash a sweatshirt that got stained. We wouldn’t have had the need to use the washer for a three night stay. We utilized the pull out couch for our 12 year old who said it was comfortable. We spent most our time in Boston but walked to the Green T Coffee shop and had delicious drinks and sandwiches. It was a pleasure staying here and would return.

Superlative Apartment Near T-Line/Commuter Rail

Well appointed, spotless bathrooms, sparkling clean throughout, well lighted, just beautiful and very adequate for our four day stay. As others have noted, it’s a short walk to the T line or, as we used the commuter rail, at reasonable cost. Much better than trying to drive to Boston and trying to find parking. Georgia was very helpful, orienting us at check-in, and was available for anything we might have needed. We would stay again.

This is a beautiful rental in a fabulous location right near Roslindale Village, the Arnold Arboretum, and rail options. The place was very clean, nicely furnished, comfortable beds, well-equipped kitchen and bathrooms, beautiful wood floors. Quiet neighborhood, great dining options, Saturday Farmers Market. Communication with Georgia was great. Highly recommend!

Perfect Place in Boston

The property was very clean and cozy. Everything we needed was in walking distance. Great location with an added perk of the Arboretum to take a refreshing walk. Very close to the train as well. Georgia was an awesome host and helped us learn the train system. I would recommend this VRBO.

Excellent stay

We stayed here for 3 nights in June. Property is very clean and well maintained. Pics dont do justice to this property. Much better than the pics in the listing. Very near to the train station.overall had a very good stay and will recommend this property. Took me time to review as i was doing a lot of travel after this trip to Boston. Only issue is am still figuring why i was charged a heavy lodging fee by VRBO for this stay as they are unable to answer me the % lodging fee for this area

Best Host We Have Ever Had

We visited Boston for the first time, and was mainly interested in sightseeing (especially colonial history). The host went above and beyond all expectations answering questions, making fantastic suggestions, and teaching us how to best use the public transportation. The commuter rail station is just a 2 minute walk from the property!
