A home from home for extended families / get-together
This is a real home from home, cosy and tastefully decorated with plenty of living space to socialise, perfect for a get together with friends or family.
5/6 bedrooms, 2.5 bathrooms, large kitchen, enclosed back garden.
Up to two well behaved dogs allowed if pre-agreed.
Located within 1 mile of Junction 44 of the M4, this is a great base if you wish to explore this part of Wales. South Wales valleys are just down the road. Gower, the Brecon Beacons, Carmarthen and the Vale of Neath with its beautiful waterfalls can all be reached within half an hour.
The property is a spacious terraced house on three levels.
Four bedrooms (two doubles, one twin and one single) and a bathroom are on the first floor.
Lounge is on the ground-floor, where you'll also find a fifth (double) bedroom and a second bathroom.
Two of the rooms are large enough to accommodate an additional guest bed or toddler bed (both provided) if needed (please ask for it when booking).
On the lower floor, you'll find the dining room (table can seat up to 10 people), a large fully equipped kitchen / breakfast room and a second lounge / family games room that can be turned into a sixth bedroom to accommodate up to 3 guests if needed (please ask for it when booking).
Both bathrooms are well appointed with full sized bath, WC, wash basin and separate walk-in shower. There is also an additional cloakroom / shower room on the lower floor.
Freshly laundered bed linen and towels are provided, as well as shampoo, shower gel, hair dryers
High speed Wi-Fi throughout the whole house.
Outside: enclosed back garden with covered patio and large decking area, outdoor table & seats.
A gas operated BBQ is available (please ask when booking). Please note that BBQ activities must be completed by 10 pm.
Plenty of space in utility room to store bicycles.
Up to two well behaved dogs welcome - strictly by prior arrangement only
Check-in time is anytime after 4 pm, but if you wish to arrive earlier, just ask and I will see what I can do. Check-out time is 11 am.
Please note:
- Property is not suitable for wild parties! Quiet hours 10 pm-8 am.
- Pets allowed by prior arrangement only.
- The charging of electric vehicles is NOT allowed. A generous amount of electricity is accounted for with every booking. If excess electricity usage is detected, it will be charged accordingly after your stay.
- No extra guests (over those who have booked) to stay without prior arrangement. Please note that kids - and that includes toddlers - all need to be included in the guest count when making a booking.
- While I'm happy to host families with children, please note that there are no stair gates or child-proof locks on the cupboards, and it will hence be up to you to keep an eye on your kids during your stay.
- No smoking in the house but you're welcome to smoke in the covered patio area using the ashtray provided.
