Outsourced Property Management
The property itself was beautiful, and the owner’s communication was great. However, the management of the property is outsourced, which made the check-in process more of a hassle than expected. Instead of heading straight to the resort, we had to stop in town at a property management office first, which was inconvenient.During our stay, a cleaner came every three days, but all they did was take out the trash and make the bed—not exactly a thorough cleaning service. The real disappointment came after we left. We took great care of the condo, only to be hit with a surprise 181 charge. When I called for clarification, I was told it was because some hand towels had makeup on them and the beach towels had something yellow on them (which was just ice cream). These are white towels—issues that could have easily been fixed with bleach and a proper wash. Instead of addressing the situation reasonably, they told me to take it up with my bank.For reference, replacing all the towels they claimed were “damaged” would cost maybe 30, making the charge completely unjustified. Overall, while the property was nice, the management process and unfair fees were enough to ensure I won’t rent from this company again. Disappointing experience.
