Luxury 1 Bed Coach House
The Coach House at HD8 is an amazing home to enjoy great views, private living space, and a high quality fixtures and fittings including home automation.
Situated within the grounds of Sayonara House, it is completely detached with all facilities required for an amazing stay. Please click 'show more' where we describe the listing in far more detail.
The space
The Coach House is in the grounds of the main property at Sayonara House. It was created as a space for guests who wanted total independence from the main property, the only item shared is the drive and path which serves both properties.
This was completed in 2023, although a new build, every care has been taken to maintain a finish to match the existing property and surrounding area.
It has a fully functional kitchen which includes a Sage Barista coffee machine and Neff Oven & Hob. There is a washing machine, ironing board, Iron, hairdryer, microwave, small fridge freezer kettle and complimentary tea/coffee/sugar.
The views from the property are amazing, we are situated on a hill, overlooking Woodsome Valley which includes the golf course and Castle hill which can be seen in the background on some of the photos. The main property actually sits over this property completely and shares the access to the coach house. Please note, there are steps both up and down to access the front door so bear this in mind before booking.
All fixtures and fittings are to a high standard, the property is actually ‘smart’ with every bulb throughout being Philips Hue which can be activated via the motion sensors, voice on the Goog1e Home, The resident Tablet or some rooms have been retrofitted with wireless switches for those who prefer the “old school” methods.
Internet is super fast (1GB Virgin Fibre at around 866MB download) and if required, there is lots of comfy space to work from the breakfast bar.
The TV is a 55 inch smart TV with access to streaming channels such as Netflix, Disney, Amazon prime etc and has all freeview channels available. There is a PS4 with a wide selection of games.
Heating is via Goog1e Nest so easily controlled, the property has under floor heating which is supplied from the boiler. As it’s a new build, it’s well insulated for both hot, and cold weather.
There is a strictly no smoking rule in the property (sorry!) and no parties I'm afraid.
Guest access
The Coach house is accessed via steps from the main drive which is on a slope, it is a completely detached building and the living space covers the top floor. There is an electric gate to the property.
Other things to note
We are 3.5 miles from Huddersfield town centre, close to a bus route and very accessible by taxis etc.
Charging for Electric Vehicles can be arranged via the 7kW outdoor charger we have. Please note, parking is available on the lane, this is a quiet lane with no restrictions so space is always available.
As a final note, we are still working on the landscape of the external walls, drive so if you were to consider, these may not be completed - depending of course how far in advance you’re booking. There is no access included to the garage beneath the living area. There are no vehicles travelling in and out of the garage, so it is very quiet.
