Bright and beautiful downtown Reykjavík one bedroom apartment

My sunny and artistic home in the heart of the city is filled with books, board games, cozy bright furniture and a spacious balcony where I love enjoying morning coffee or gazing at the Northern Lights.

My home is a walking distance from the downtown pool Sundhöllin (with hot tubs, steam, sauna and cold plunge), artisan cafes, incredible bakeries, book stores, lively music venues, art galleries, ice cream stores, delicious restaurants, cocktail bars, pubs, tour companies, Harpa music hall, as well as the National and independent theatres.

Right outside the door you can rent a scooter for Nauthólsvík beach, bunny inhabited Öskjuhlíð woodlands or to explore the Reykjavík harbour. The scooter company is called Hopp, and you download their phone app.

There is ample parking on the surrounding streets. It's free to park after 6pm and before 9am on weekdays. It's free to park 4pm until 10am on Saturdays. It's free to park on Sundays. There is also a parking garage just a five minute walk from the house on Hverfisgata 20.

The transportation hub BSÍ is less than a 15 minute walk away where you can take a bus to/from the airport.

Numerous food halls surround the area, and Hlemmur, the city's central bus terminal, is a 12 minute walk away.

Just a ten minute walk away towards the harbour you'll find tour companies offering whale watching tours, arctic adventures and northern lights exhibitions.
