For a family and dog-friendly treat, head to the Heights of Abraham (5.5 miles), a hilltop park with adventure play and caverns. Or for anyone interested in the grandeur of days gone by, both Chatsworth House and Haddon Hall are within 8 miles.
This end-of-terrace stone property is set over three storeys and still has some intriguing original features, including multi-pane windows and cottage-style stairs. The outside space is a quirky arrangement: an enclosed terrace with outdoor furniture on the roof of the kitchen extension below. This makes a great spot for an al fresco drink or meal, but please be careful of tripping over the skylights. The parking for this property is on the street, subject to availability.
