This dog-friendly property in the coastal village of Down Thomas is an excellent base for exploring the scenic South Hams. Its versatile bedroom set-up makes it a great choice for couples, groups of friends or families – and for the latter you have the option of a lovely children’s playpark in the beer garden next door. There are several beaches within 10 miles and, if you don’t feel like cooking, the adjacent pub serves great food. Walk the stunning coastal path, or head for the bright lights of Plymouth. Its shops, galleries and restaurants are just 6 miles away, while the family attractions of Pennywell Farm and Woodlands Family Theme Park can both be reached within 23 miles.
Built in 2021, this beautiful end-of-terrace house has contemporary styling throughout, with dark-wood floors (with underfloor heating) and pale walls for a serene feel. You’ll find yourself in the spacious bright, open-plan living area with an inviting space where you can snuggle on the spacious U shape corner sofa and enjoy a movie on the Smart TV. The sleek kitchen includes everything the cook will need, and there’s a table with bench seating where you can dine and swap stories of your day’s adventures. Also on the ground floor is a serene super king-size bedroom with an en-suite wet room. The remaining two super king-size bedrooms, with en-suite shower rooms, are both on the first floor. All the bedrooms have Smart TVs, perfect for that relaxing lie-in, and the zip-and-link beds can be made up as twins on request.
Step through the double door in the lounge and into your garden with a lawned area plus a patio with dining furniture and a luxury hot tub for six, the ultimate spot for sipping a drink as you watch the stars come out. The end of the garden is sectioned by a natural hedge line with animal farming in the fields beyond so please keep dogs on leads at all times.
