FAKE LISTING BEWARE
Before I start we didn’t stay here - because it doesn’t exist?? We booked a two night stay here to attend a concert, travelling across from North Wales. We received confirmation from Vrbo and from the “crib surfer” company.and this outlined payment to be taken either 5 days before or on arrival. On the day of arrival no money had been taken but it was in line with the confirmation we had received. By 11am on check-in day we had still no communication on how to access etc so I decided to message before we set off for the 3 hour jounrney. I messaged a further two times (no response) then phoned the number on the confirmation (no answer) emailed the personal email (no reply) and then phoned Vrbo who tried on our behalf but never got an answer or a reply. So long story short they never communicated with us so we didn’t go on our holiday.. we didn’t get charged but we missed out on our stay and our concert. Customer service was poor from Vrbo, they told us that this particular company had 12 active listings (so check and don’t book one of them either) and then when they found out we hadn’t actually paid the woman (Safia) actually laughed at me (this is whilst I am stood at my front door with my packed bag ready to leave for my holiday with my family) and told they couldn’t do anything and that I also had no right to complain because it was our fault we hadn’t paid although we followed all the steps the app asked of us on booking, giving over all our payment details and recie
