Hyggehus - peace and comfort

Located a stone's throw away from the Kamma Baai and Voelklip beaches, Hyggehus is a sanctuary for the soul, a home where guests can relax and be together; where they can cherish the little moments, and feel calm and connected. Designed and owned by an architect, every space has been crafted to promote a sense of peace and comfort, surrounded by elements of art, light and nature.

The spacious self-catering villa can accommodate 10 guests and has views of both the mountains and the ocean. All 5 bedrooms are located on the ground floor level. The large, main en-suite bedroom contains a king-size floating bed, and en-suite bathroom with a bath and shower. Bedrooms 2 and 3 are located on the north side of the house, and feature king-size floating beds with en-suite bathrooms boasting showers. Bedrooms 4 and 5 are located across the hallway from the master en-suite and feature queen-size floating beds. These two rooms are linked with a shared bathroom with a shower, and is ideal for families with younger kids. Typical to the Danish living experience, the beds all have their own duvets, which offers a unique breakaway from the normal, and adds warmth to the senses.

On the upper floor, guests have access to the beautifully decorated open plan kitchen, dining and living areas, as well as the outdoor braai and dining area. The spectacular arches, art and decor, wood and stonework once again adds to the feeling of luxurious peace and comfort. The fully equipped kitchen features fridge/freezer, gas hob and oven, coffee machine, microwave, kettle, toaster, and a dishwasher . The large, in- and outdoor 10-seater dining tables provide stunning sunset dinner moments to end off the perfect day. The lounge has a smart tv with full Dstv package, and Netflix functionality (guests can load their own account), and a gas-fired fireplace. Downstairs there is a cozy tv lounge as well, ideal for child entertainment.

In addition, the house features an inverter to supply power to the TV's, Dstv, free Wi-Fi and lights during load shedding. The washing machine and tumble dryer are located in the outside laundry. The house offers secure parking for 2 cars and additional free off-street parking, and is secured with all-round walls and an alarm system.

The location offers access to beaches, a number of restaurants, art galleries and coffee shops. It is also not far from the lagoon and scenic walking and mountain biking trails on the mountain.
