Downstairs on the lower ground floor is a well-equipped, modern kitchen, dining room and a useful utility room. Light floods into the dining area thanks to the French doors which lead to the delightful rear courtyard area. There are plenty of seating options too, from breakfast-bar stools to perch in the kitchen, a dining table seating four and a comfy sofa and armchair. From early morning coffee to al-fresco dining, the lower ground floor offers a lovely space to sit and relax. Upstairs on the first floor two king size bedrooms await. Both rooms have top quality mattresses and luxury linens for the best night’s sleep. The spacious bathroom can be found on the ground floor with a free standing bath and a walk in rainfall shower and there are two further WC's in the cottage. Saltwater Cottage is simply charming and ticks all the boxes for the perfect seaside getaway, and your four legged friend is very welcome too.

Set right in the heart of the conservation area, you can walk to the high street in seconds, with it's independent shops, restaurants, pubs, cafes and Saturday market. Start your day watching the sunrise with morning coffee or even a dip for anyone feeling brave! Enjoy days out at one of the many nearby sandy beaches such as Sandwich Bay, Botany Bay, Joss Bay, Kingsgate Bay or Viking Bay to name a few (check the tide times for best time to visit). Explore the nearby coastal town of Folkestone or indulge in culinary delights at Margate.There are many historic delights on your doorstep to discover such as Deal and Walmer Castle, or you can hire some cycles and wind your way along the promenade heading to Sandwich in one direction and Kingsdown in the other. We recommend stopping at Zetland Arms (a pub on the beach) for a spot of lunch. For those who enjoy walking, take the coastal footpath along the White Cliffs of Dover and enjoy the breathtaking views. With so much on offer this really is a great location for your holiday in Kent. If you are planning on catching the train from London, there’s a high-speed train service from London St Pancras International Station to Ramsgate, Broadstairs, and Margate which means that travelling from the capital is quick and easy.
