Stepping into the property, there is an open-plan living space, so choose who the dedicated chef is and take advantage of the well-equipped kitchen area, gather round the dining table to toast to a wonderful holiday or cosy up on the corner sofa as you enjoy some television. Moving through the property there is a double room, with exposed beams and a dressing table so guests can get ready in style, and a further double bedroom, both of which are complemented by en-suite bathrooms, so guests have that extra bit of privacy. To finish the property there is a family room which has a double bed and a single bed, as well as an en-suite shower room, and a quirky, hidden snug room where guests can go for a quiet read.
You can take a short drive into the centre of Westbury, where you can indulge in some food and drink at local pub or head into the county town of Shrewsbury, which offers great views of the River Severn and plenty of bars and eateries to choose from. Browse the shops and grab essentials or holiday gifts or delve into history and enjoy a tour of the 18th-century prison, or visit the 11th-century castle filled with historical collections, or the striking 11th-century medieval abbey. Nearby you can visit the National Trust property of Attingham Park with its striking 18th-century mansion and walled gardens, and the Battlefield Falconry Centre.
