A magnificent 300-year-old Cornish townhouse which, in the 1800s, was originally the home of a wealthy merchant. During the last century, it was a sweet shop and more recently a thriving restaurant. Today it is a fully restored family home, retaining many original features including wooden beams - one of which is reputed to have come from the defeated Spanish Armada. The house sleeps up to 12 people in three doubles (all en-suite), a twin room and a bunk room that includes a pair of bunk beds.

With quality furniture and soft furnishings throughout, guests will appreciate the attention to detail. While there’s no outside space or garden, the beach is very close and less than a minute away on foot. The house is normally let from Saturday to Saturday during the peak season but we offer long weekend breaks during other times. The house is a no-smoking property and we regret that we can't take pets, service or emotional support animals. Wifi internet access is available.
