Valtournenche also has a stop for the ski bus, which runs every 20 minutes (in winter) to take you to the town’s ski lifts. In Valtournenche and Cervinia (15 minutes by car), you'll find restaurants that will delight you with Valdostan cuisine, while still offering the chance to enjoy a delicious pizza, even far from Naples! Besides the well-known Fontina DOP from the Aosta Valley, especially enjoyed during fun-filled fondue nights with friends, you can also savor warm soups and typical charcuterie and cheese boards. The Valdostan menu features several traditional dishes like the famous carbonade, not to be confused with Roman carbonara.
