Das Beach House befindet sich am 684 Sea Otter Drive in der Gemeinde Venture Out Resort. 684 ist ein 2 Badezimmer und ein Schlafzimmer Haus. Christmas away from home

The house was beautifully decorated, clean and comfortable. The place was really stocked up with everything you might need. We spent Christmas here and it was just cute and magical. Communication with the host was great, I felt comfortable reaching out to her if I had any question and she was very friendly and responsive. Again, I loved it! I would stay again.

Great stay for the price!

I enjoyed everything about my stay. There is one complete bedroom and a trundle bed in the living room. The only thing I would be aware of staying here, the trundle bed is definitely for children. As an adult it was difficult to sleep on. The mattresses are definitely made for lightweight smaller children and do not really support a grown up. It was almost like sleeping on a baby bed mattress. LOL. It did make for the best reason to take a nap on the beach in the warm sun in a comfy lounge chair. I would definitely stay here again

Two month away from the snow

The place worked great for us. The property was pretty much as noted by owner. The cleanliness of the place was as stated by the owner. It was not perfect due to areas that need updates and which are already planned, but everything worked and even with cold and severe weather in the area, the place stayed dry and warm. Enjoyed the beach and fishing in the area.

Excellent owner response

We had some issues when we first arrived that were addressed immediately as soon as we reached out. We literally, could not have asked for a better response! I have a chronic health condition that puts me at higher risk than some so please keep that in mind. When we arrived there was a soaking wet towel inside the front loading washer with the door closed. It was beyond musty with visible mold. As soon as we brought this to Mandy's attention she addressed it. Within 3 days people were arriving to remove the old washer and dryer and installing brand new units! This was a tremendous help for my declining health as well as a damp rid bucket we out in the bathroom as well as running our ozone generator every few days to keep the airborne mold spores down. The pots and pans nonstick coating was completely destroyed and again, once we told Mandy about this, she had a brand new set sent over. I am telling you, if you just let her know what's up, she will do everything in her power to fix it for you! You just have to tell her while you are there. The kitchen sink faucet is caving into the countertop, with additional water damage and mold there as well however they are going to be renovating the kitchen March 2023. It is not uncommon to have mold issues that close to the water. Continual air movement (fans) can help the situation and even stop mold from forming by keeping wet areas dry. We kept the ceiling fan and bathroom exhaust fan running as well but having the front loading washer removed was the biggest help of all. The location was amazing. Having a gulf cart was super convenient and fun. We were able to get packages shipped to the lobby (we stayed 2 months). Most people are renting this for a short term vacation and in that event, totally worth it. Please note, there are no sheets for the queen bed in the bedroom, although there are sheets for the futon, pull out couch and twin beds in livingroom. None were clean when we arrived but was washed, folded and organized them all while we were there as well as doing some deep cleaning. Cute place and you could not ask for a better landlord.

Ok if you are under 6 feet tall.

If you are tall you will bang your head and have issues in the bathrooms, it's doable but farcfrom comfy, had they emphasized that concern I would've chosen another place to stay. For the price though the location is great. The golf cart was ok but the headlights didn't work so couldn't utilize it fully as sunset is a little before 5pm. Would've loved to use the cart more at night. Owners said they were renovating soon so who knows.

Venture Out is an awesome place to stay.

The property was as it was listed. The best part was the amenities. We spent most of the time out exploring on the golf cart. The first morning there we found the playground, swimming pool fishing doc area. Standing out on the dock there were dolphins playing so close. It was amazing to see and probably one of the best parts of our mini vacation. Then being able to drive the golf cart right across the street to go to the beach was great. By the end of our weekend my husband and I were already trying to plan our next vacation and retirement. lol We have always stayed in condos. This place was a game changer..

If you want updated and clean this place isn't for you

I know there always seems to be one critical review and I promise I am not trying to be that person. I am just trying to leave an honest review. Let me just start by saying it does have a nice golf cart. The amenities of Venture Out are great and the having access to the beach is definitely a plus. But, the property is in need of a major deep clean, repairs, and updates. There were coffee ground and coffee left in the coffee maker as well as dirty towels in the washer. The owner stayed the week before we did and we were told we could check in a little early because the property had already been clean and they had left. Granted, the kitchen is very old but it is also very nasty. There is no transition strip between the small bedroom and the tile and my two year old son tore his skin on his toe. All the vent covers are extremely rusty and we were constantly picking up the flakes that were falling off. There are several rotting spots in the bedroom in the subfloor covered by shag rugs and old carpet. There is very little lighting to get ready unless you decide to stand on a stool because the mirror is so high in the lower bathroom. The addition is much newer and has the potential to be very nice. We did not see any bugs at all so we were very thankful for that. This property had the potential to be very cute if time and funds were invested. When we arrived and before we left we cleaned all counters and fridge with Clorox wipes, swept, and vacuumed the floors. I guess you get what you pay for. Pictures are very deceiving. This property is not what it states it is.

We haven't been on a vacation in 10 years. We opted to stay at Venture Out this past weekend. The entire transaction was flawless from start to finish. The condo was clean and easy to find. We had easy access to the golf cart, private beach, and all of the amenities. The property was secure and made you feel very welcome. The staff was great! We will definitely be returning soon! Highly recommend!

Thank you for your interest in our beach house! We are a hard-working family who have always enjoyed the time we spent at the beach. My dad John first started staying at the Venture Out Resort in 2004. He always raved about how neat of place Venture Out was. Finally, in 2012 my son Brooks and I joined him for a vacation. We loved it! It was on that trip we started looking at the homes for sale within the resort. The following year my boyfriend Randy and his daughter Kelsey joined us on our family vacation to Venture Out. That year we took time to look at the new listings offered for sale. It wasn't until 2016 that we finally decided to purchase a home. In September of 2016 my dad John Brooks and boyfriend Randy Chinell finally partnered up to purchase 684 Sea Otter Drive, in lovely Panama City Beach. We have all been super excited about this investment! We are very thankful for our realtor Kelli Sims for not only being patient with use through the years but also making this investment possible. We are currently finishing some small renovations and decorating for the enjoyment of both the family and our renters. We look forward to booking your next vacation!
