Harrow Bank Cottage is a charming and contemporary two-bedroom cottage situated just across the bridge from the historic town of Berwick-upon-Tweed. Thoughtfully designed with accessibility in mind, the cottage is wheelchair-friendly, inspired by the needs of the owner's mother. It features a ramp to the front door, widened doorways, and a walk-in shower room with a removable seat. The open-plan layout includes a fully equipped kitchen, a Smart TV, and Wi-Fi, and is family and pet-friendly.

Ground floor:
Open Plan Kitchen Living Area: Harrow Bank Cottage welcomes you through a widened front door that opens into the spacious open-plan kitchen and living area. To the left, you’ll find the bright and airy lounge area featuring a three-seater sofa and armchair, a log burner and a Smart TV with access to online streaming services. Free WIFI is available throughout the cottage.
On the right side, the kitchen and dining area features sage green base units, white worktops and white walls, creating a clean, bright and modern atmosphere. The fully equipped kitchen includes integrated appliances such as a fridge, freezer, dishwasher, and washing machine, along with a single electric fan oven, electric hob, extractor fan, microwave kettle, and a toaster. A dining table comfortably seats four guests. The internal door leads into the hallway.
Master Bedroom: The spacious master bedroom offers a double bed with fresh linen and towels, bedside tables, and a single wardrobe for storing personal belongings.
Ensuite Bathroom: An internal door leads into the ensuite bathroom which comprises of a toilet, sink and a spacious shower cubicle. The shower also features a grab-hold rail.
Second Bedroom: The second bedroom is furnished with two single beds, bedside tables and a hanging rail with shelving underneath for convenient storage.
Shower Room: The shower room is designed with wheelchair users in mind, providing ample space and accessibility. It features a toilet, wash hand basin, and a wet room-style shower, allowing guests with mobility challenges to shower comfortably. A specially designed shower seat, which can be removed if necessary, is also available for those who prefer to sit during their shower.
Parking:
There is no designated parking for Harrow Bank Cottage, however, there is free on street parking outside of the house.
