Conveniently located, spacious 1-bedroom apartment with a balcony and view on the Big Ben.
Available for you to rent is a 1 bedroom fully furnished apartment.
I live in the Kennington/Vauxhall/Oval area, south of Thames. Quite close to Central London - 20 min by bus to Piccadilly circus and Soho. The Parliament buildings at Westminster and the London Eye lie within walking distance. There is a view of Big Ben from my balcony.
The building is quite new (built in 2009).
Available for you to use are Wi-fi internet access, tv (with basic FreeSat channels), a microwave, fridge, freezer, electrical oven, washing machine (sorry, no dryer or AC - they are not very common in the UK).
King size bed (for 2 people), a sofa-bed in the living room and an additional airbed if needed. There is no smoking inside the apartment, and no pets are allowed. Also, no shoes inside the apartment please!
I often travel and it would be great to rent out my flat while I am away. I keep my belongings in the flat since I live there when I am not traveling. You will have access to your own wardrobe and some empty drawers.
Contactless check in is possible via a key holding service; that way you are flexible with the arrival time.
The area is very nice and green. Several parks are nearby (Kennington park and Vauxhall park). There are several very good restaurants nearby, a big grocery store (Tesco) is a 10 min walk away, and a small Tesco just around the corner. The area is very safe. Lots of public transportation.
All guests should be 21 or older unless agreed in advance.
AT THE TIME OF BOOKING - Please let me know your desired time of check in and check out, as well as which airport/train station you will be arriving to, so we can work out on a mutually convenient way to handle the check in. Usual check in is 2pm or after, unless agreed otherwise. Usual check out is by 11am unless agreed otherwise. These could be flexible, depending on whether I have guests before or after you.
For longer stays cleaning every other week is included.
