I'm very excited to welcome guests to my Cosy downstairs flat which I hope is the start of a memorable stay in Newcastle. My flat is in a brilliant location and only a 2 minute walk from Osborne road which is home to a range of fantastic bars and restaurants. The flat has been thoroughly furnished with comfort in mind. I have taken great pride in sourcing quirky ornamental accents that make this home from home a memorable place to stay.
My property sleeps up to 4 guests, (one king bed, and 2 sofa beds, one sofa bed is a double and the other is a single). Jesmond is a young and vibrant part of Newcastle, it has great transport links into Newcastle City centre and also the award winning beaches of North Tyneside. The flat is perfectly situated less than a 5 minute walk from the local metro station “West Jesmond”, which will give you access to the city centre. Should you prefer to walk the 30 minute walk into Newcastle is a very enjoyable experience and gives you a chance to explore the surrounding area.
You will enter the property via a large Red front door (number 14). There is a step up to the door with the keysafe located to the right hand side of the door. The Front door is communal and is shared between other residents in the building. Inside the main building my front door is on the ground floor on the right hand side.
To the right hand side you will find the living room area which has a TV, Dining table and also 2 sofas that can be converted easily into sofa beds. Down the corridor you will have the main bedroom on your right hand side and the main bathroom directly ahead. At the rear of my home you will find the kitchen area which also has a small dining table in the centre.
At the front of the property there is a communal area of grass which you can use on a nice day. At the rear, accessible from the outside space, is a private rear gravelled yard with outside seating areas.
You will have access to the entire property. It will be yours to enjoy throughout your stay. Please feel free to use all storage space provided just don't forget any items when packing before you go.
We provide complimentary tea and coffee, as well as travel sized bottles of shampoo, shower gel and soap. Other items provided during your stay are a washing-up pack, toilet roll and kitchen roll. These should last a couple of days. If more is needed, there is a Tesco Express or a Sainsbury's Local a 5 minute walk away.
PARKING
There is a FREE parking permit available in the property for 1 car. This is to be displayed in the car and will allow you to park on the street throughout your stay.
If you have more than 1 car then for the majority of the day the parking in the street is free for the second car. However, during certain times of the day the parking is restricted to permit holders only. Sadly we cannot offer two permits. During the times when permits are required there is free parking available on the following streets for any additional vehicles.
Queen's Road, Lyndhurst Avenue, Brentwood avenue. I would also recommend searching for the following private parking options which can be pre booked before arriving.

CHECK IN / CHECK OUT
Check-in time is after 4 pm and check-out time is before 10am. A £30 charge will be requested if guests check themselves in early without permission or if guests do not check out on time as this will cause disruption to my cleaner’s schedule.
IMPORTANT: On behalf of our host at Pass the Keys, we require guest verification facilitated by Truvi (Previously called Superhog). Upon confirming your booking, Truvi will contact the lead booker via a secure link, providing detailed instructions for the verification process.
The online verification requires a government-issued photo ID and a credit or debit card. During this process, you may choose between a refundable GBP 500 deposit (plus GBP 10 transaction fee currency equivalent) or purchase a non-refundable damage waiver of GBP 40 (currency equivalent) to cover potential damages during your stay.
Once the verification process is successfully completed, check-in information will be provided. If you opted in for a deposit, this will be refunded via credit/debit card after your stay, subject to an inspection of the property.
