The enchanting, medieval town of Ludlow (8mls) known for it's cobbled streets, quirky architecture and vibrant local food scene, is your closest town for quality amenities or heading 12 mls East is Bridgnorth; another charming market town straddling the River Severn and home to the oldest and steepest inland funicular railway. Staying at the barn provides a very comfortable base for you to travel deeper into the Shropshire Hills and explore this beautiful country at large. Visit nearby Kidderminster (20mls), Ironbridge (20mls), Shrewsbury (27mls) with ease, along with the National Trust properties around Leominster.
