The Midway - Luxurious Private Apartment & Garden
The Midway is a delightful, luxurious apartment, recently transformed meticulously into a private sanctuary full of character and interest, with secure parking behind automatic gates, situated in the tiny village of Adlington.
Ideally suited for couples for an esacpe or a business trip with easy rail access to Manchester city centre.
On the edge of the Peak District It is a lovely 15-minute walk down the lane to The Legh Arms where you can sample great ales or dine at the Toby Carvery.
With its own entrance and self-check in, The MIddlewood is perfect for a private, secure break, surrounded by the charming countryside of The Peak District.
The Midway comfortably sleeps 2, with the main bed being King-Sized with ample space in the main bedroom to comfortably exit and enter the bedroom.
The luxurious bathroom is equipped with a fabulous shower and luxury fittings. We provide towels and quality Cole & Lewis toiletries, as well as all linen, duvets and pillows. If you're planning to stay for more than a few days, we're happy to do a changeover of linen and towels during your stay, just let us know.
We provide a selection of teas, coffees and milk for your arrival so you can settle in after your drive, and there is an under-counter fridge . There will be few extra little “goodies” waiting for you when you arrive. We are within a quick drive, some 5 minutes away to the local Tesco Express or CO-OP in the next village and we find a lot of our guests like to eat out when they are here, and with a variety of cafes, delis and restaurants there are lots of great options to choose from.
You can park on our driveway, behind the security of the electric gates for additional peace of mind, which also provides a safe space for little ones to run-around in the garden area
The Midway is perfectly located for walking and cycling, where from the front door you can access the Middlewood Way or The Bollington Canal which provide delightful walks and cycle routes towards Macclesfield or Lyme Park and there are restaurants and cafes along the way for a charming place to stop and relax. We are available to give you any guidance and recommend places to go to should you need it. We also provide a dedicated cleaning area for walking boots and cycles with secure lock-up for valuable cycles.
