Amongst the home's many assets are a sumptuous living room with huge granite inglenook fireplace and wood-burner, an open-plan kitchen/diner with slate flagstone flooring and full width bi-fold doors, and a large and lush garden with two paved sun terraces - all of which create the perfect place for glamorous gatherings and carefree multi-generational family holidays.
Set over two floors, guests can pick from four tastefully appointed bedrooms, all of which are light and airy with comfortable beds and gorgeous furnishings. A lovely twin lies on the first floor along with a shower room, while the remaining bedrooms which include a second twin, a king and the master en-suite can be found on the first floor, together with a fabulous family bathroom and its free-standing bathtub. The sociable open-plan kitchen/diner with its inviting snug has exposed granite walls and garden views so you can cook, eat and unwind in complete comfort, and glass doors leading out to the terrace and gardens make it the perfect space for indoor/outdoor entertainment.
Ideal for relishing this beautiful slice of the Cornish coastline, holidays at The Fairings centre around the coast, with Porthmeor Beach and the harbour being just 5 minutes' drive from the cottage. There are many wonderful restaurants within 25 minutes' walk from the cottage like Source Kitchen and The Balcony Bar & Kitchen where you'll find delicious dishes made from locally sourced produce. Porthminster Beach is under 10 minutes' drive (or less than half an hour is you choose to ditch the car during your stay), and the pretty streets of St Ives with its galleries, independent shops, restaurants and harbour are a 15-minute walk. The aquamarine waters and golden sandy beach at Carbis Bay are 10 minutes by car, along with a clutch of fashionable eateries, cocktail lounges and C Spa at the Carbis Bay Hotel.
Good Housekeeping Bond
We ask our guests for a £500 good housekeeping bond, which is pre-authorised against your card. This is in case there is any damage to the property during your stay. The money is simply reserved and then released afterwards if there is no claim. We will contact you nearer the time of your arrival to arrange this.
Pets: 2 pets allowed. Please advise the Luxury Coastal team directly if you would like us to host your pet after completing your booking. A charge of £35 per pet per stay/week will be applicable and required before your stay. We will arrange and invoice with you directly upon booking confirmation.
Please note that the garage doors and front gate of the property are monitored by CCTV, this does not cover the internal area of the property.
