A delightful, open plan living space on the ground floor is perfect for spending time with loved ones after a day exploring the Cotswolds. With plush seating set in front of a cosy log burner, this welcoming space seamlessly flows into the well-equipped kitchen and separate, light and airy garden room. The garden is tiered, with mature borders and two wonderful seating areas, making it a beautiful spot to while away summer evenings with a BBQ.

Lovely country cottage
We had a lovely stay at Harvey's Corner Cottage. The cottage was more spacious than it appeared in the photos, stylishly decorated and very comfortable. It was great for us that there were 3 double beds and really sociable open plan space downstairs. Having 2 bathrooms was good but would have been better if there was a proper shower in the main bathroom rather than just the bath. It was handy to have 1 dedicated parking space for the cottage but we did find it difficult to find parking for our 2nd car as the village is very busy and the road outside the cottage very narrow. The location is really good, very pretty with a lovely well stocked village shop and really pleasant staff. There is a cafe in the village too but we avoided this, stock not very fresh looking and grumpy unhelpful staff. Really lovely villages and gastro pubs close by, Stow on the Wold and Bourton on the Water were wonderful.

Excellent accommodation, great communication and perfect location
If you are looking for a perfect cottage in a great central location then this should be your first choice, the communication with the letting agent was very professional and all questions were answered very quickly. The discretion of the cottage is 100% accurate, it is extremely clean and everything is catered for including lovely fresh towels in every bathroom. The living space benefits from a lovely seating area and modern kitchen with everything you could need with the added benefit of the summer room it all makes for a light and relaxing area to spend time with loved ones, there is a log burner which would be wonderful during the colder months but we didn't need it on this trip. The central heating is controlled by nest which makes it very easy to control, the bedrooms are excellent and a great size with the added benefit of one being on the third floor which would make it ideal for a larger family group. You can tell from the moment you enter that this is someones second home as it has that feel about it which can be lacking in some rental property's that are just for rent, there was a wonderful homely feel to the place and the owners should be very proud. The location is perfect, you have a small shop and coffee/cafe two minutes away and the local pub is a five minute walk. Clarkson's farm is 2 minutes drive away if this is your thing along with all the wonderful places such as chipping campden, stow-on-the-wald, bourton-on-the-water etc all within a very easy drive. If you are searching for a great place to stay that is exactly as it says on the tin then Harvey's cottage should be your first choice.
