Carcavelos is a coastal parish in the municipality of Cascais, within the Lisbon District.

Carcavelos is well-connected to Lisbon and Cascais by train, making it an accessible destination for day trips or commuting. The suburban train line offers frequent services, and the journey to Lisbon takes about 20 minutes.

The area has a variety of restaurants, cafes, and shops catering to diverse tastes and preferences. There's something for everyone, from traditional Portuguese cuisine to international dining options.

One of the most popular beaches in the Lisbon area, Praia de Carcavelos is famous for its long stretch of golden sand, excellent surfing conditions, and lively beach bars. It's a hotspot for locals and tourists, offering water sports and sunbathing facilities.

The Fort of São Julião da Barra, a 16th-century fortification, is one of Portugal's most significant and critical coastal defences. It played a crucial role in protecting the Tagus River and Lisbon entrance. The fort is an important historical landmark and adds to the cultural heritage of Carcavelos.

Thursday is the day for the traditional Carcavelos Fair, both at the Mercado Saloio and the Feira do Levante. Discover all kinds of clothing, footwear and accessories as well as the freshest food products for your day-to-day life.The Carcavelos Fair takes place in the parking lot of the Carcavelos Market, located in Praça Dr. Manuel Rebello de Andrade, easily accessible from the Carcavelos CP station.The traditional Carcavelos Fair takes place every Thursday from 8am to 1pm.

The property is easily accessible by public transport and car.

The nearest train station, Carcavelos, is just a 9-minute walk.

Humberto Delgado Airport is a 24-minute drive from the property.

This property is a self-check-in property, and you will be requested to verify your identity before checking into the property. Check-in can be done from 3 PM, pending availability and confirmation.

Once a reservation is confirmed, guests are requested to complete a guest registration form following the legal obligations stipulated by local authorities in Portugal.

There is a zero-tolerance policy for smoking on the property. If our team discovers evidence that this rule has been breached (e.g., smoke smell, ashes, butts, etc.), we fully reserve the right to charge a €200 smoking fee at minimum.

Please note that for stays longer than 30 nights, a fair use policy of the utilities will apply with a limit of 80€.

For the first days, we provide the basic amenities: samples of shower gel, shampoo, soap, toilet paper, kitchen roll, sponge, dishwashing products and bin bag.

Extra keys: 20€ (extra pair of keys when available, lost keys or service to open the door during your stay).
Extra cleaning with linen: the price of a cleaning fee.
Extra Clothing: 30€ (Towels and sheets for 2pax, i.e. when the sofa bed is not included).
