Lolita's Beachfront Loft by Wonderful Italy
Spacious and cozy apartment recently built, a few steps from the sea in San Giorgio, a seaside village on the outskirts of Bari.
The apartment is located on the second floor of a new and modern complex. The entrance opens onto a hallway leading to the living area that benefits from natural light and sea views thanks to the large window. Here there is an open-plan kitchen equipped with all amenities, a single sofa bed and TV. The sleeping area consists of a bedroom with a queen-size bed, while a staircase located in the living room leads to the mezzanine where there is a French-size bed. A bathroom with shower completes the layout.
Free wifi, air conditioning and heating will be available in the accommodation.
Guests will benefit from a covered parking slot inside the property.
*Upon arrival or a few days before arrival it may be required to pay a tourist tax, which varies according to local regulations. You will find your reservation details within the Guest Area of Wonderful Italy.
We also offer our guests authentic experiences to live in contact with the locals. If interested, please contact us; we will be happy to help you create your perfect vacation discovering the beauty of Italy.
Fascinating, rich in history, and authentic: Bari is the capital of Puglia and the most populous city overlooking the Adriatic Sea. Also known as the "Gateway to the East," the city has a strong merchant-entrepreneurial tradition and has always been a focal point of trade and contact with the Middle East. The city's offerings are truly rich: ancient churches, romantic glimpses of the sea, historic palaces, relaxing walks along the waterfront, and, finally, local gastronomic treasures such as orecchiette, focaccia, or panzerotti.
The discovery of the city certainly begins in the area of "Bari Vecchia," or the oldest core where most of the city's sites of interest are located. Visiting its historic center is a bit like stepping back in time. Walking through the alleys of Bari Vecchia, one crosses Via Arcobasso, also known as Via Orecchiette, where local ladies prepare, according to ancient recipes, fresh local pasta. Among the city's main attractions are the Basilica of St. Nicholas, built at the end of the 11th century, a pilgrimage destination and symbol of Catholic and Orthodox culture, and the Norman-Swabian Castle, a legacy of Frederick II of Swabia, between the sea and the old town.
In addition, numerous Apulian destinations such as the city of Trani (50 km), with its breathtaking scenery, rich in history and harmonious architectural lines, Castel del Monte (55 km), one of Italy's 54 UNESCO World Heritage sites, Alberobello with its typical trulli (55 km) and Castellana Grotte (45 km) are easily accessible from this city. Moving south, Polignano a Mare, known as the "Pearl of the Adriatic," will leave you speechless with its crystal-clear waters and rock embroidered with cavities carved by the sea.
Bari-Karol Wojtyla International Airport is less than a 30-minute drive away, and the station is 5 kilometers away.
