Cyprus For A Perfect Holiday: Cyprus is the third largest Island in the Mediterranean, it is an island of beauty and a country of contrasts. Cool, pine-clad mountains are a complete scene-change after golden sun-kissed beaches. Tranquil, timeless villages are in striking contrast to modern cosmopolitan towns. Luxurious beach side hotels can be exchanged for large areas of natural unspoilt countryside. Yet in Cyprus all distances are easily manageable, mostly on modern roads and highways - with a secondary route or two for the more adventurous. The summers are long and hot, fruit trees buckle under the weight of their bounty as do the vines, the grapes of which go into producing some fine local wines. A good spot to view them is the Cyprus Handicraft Centre in Lefkosia, with retail shops in every town. Small items of the distinctive, traditional pottery make good gifts, and so does Cyprus copperware and filigree silver. Always popular is the beautiful 'Lefkaritika' or ' Lefkara Lace'. Folkweave, needle and crochet work, woodwork and basketwork are a few more of the things visitors like to take home with them, not to mention Cyprus brandy which can be bought by the demijohn, Commandaria and even Halloumi - the Cyprus cheese.

Golfing: Paphos is the new jewel in the crown for golfers seeking golf breaks in the warmth of the eastern Mediterranean. It offers golfers challenging world class championship courses, warm hospitality and almost year round sunshine. There are three 18 hole golf courses to choose from. Tsada Golf Club which is just 20 minutes from Paphos town, 550 meters above sea level to ensure cool breezes during the summer months. It plays to a par 72 and measures 6,060 meters. The Secret Valley Golf Club is 18 kilometres east of Paphos lying within a scenic valley and offers panoramic views. It plays to a par 72 and measures 6,120 meters. Herrliche Terrasse mit grandiosen Blick

Die Wohnung bot alles, was wir benötigten und noch dazu eine wunderschöne Terrasse mit einem tollen Blick aufs Mittelmeer. Ein Grill war dort, Gartenmöbel und Badeequiment haben wir gefunden. Wir haben uns sehr wohlgefühlt.

Grandioser Ausblick

Wir können uns den Bewertungen der anderen Gäste nur anschließen: die große Wohnung mit der riesigen Terrasse ist wundervoll. Sie ist gut mit Liegen, Tisch, Stühlen und 2 Sonnenschirmen, sowie einem von uns nicht genutzten Grill und Außendusche ausgestattet. Die Aussicht auf das Meer ist zu jeder Tages- und Nachtzeit grandios. Außerdem ist die Umgebung total ruhig, was wir bei Ankunft gar nicht so erwartet hatten. Die Küche ist mit vielen Geräten und Utensilien gut ausgestattet, wir schlagen nur vor, mehr Weingläser und Teetassen zur Verfügung zu stellen. Eine Spülmaschine wäre auch super, aber das Spülen mit Aussicht auf den Leuchtturm und das Meer hat auch etwas. WLAN funktionierte gut, TV sicher auch, aber ich habe es trotz Anleitung nicht geschafft. War bei dem schönen und auch abends warmen Wetter sowieso nicht nötig…. Unter dem Haus ist der leicht zugängliche schattige Stellplatz, wo man auch die Schlüsselbox findet. Gerade in diesen Corona-Zeiten, aber auch wenn man zu ungünstigen Zeiten anreist, ist ein kontaktloser Zugang zum App. prima. Die Ausgrabungsstätten und Königsgräber sind in der Nähe und mit dem Auto, Bus oder zu Fuß gut zu erreichen. Der Weg am Meer entlang zum Hafen und zum Fort ist sehr empfehlenswert und dauert ca. eine halbe Stunde, wenn man schnell geht. Die Strände vor der Tür haben teilweise Steine und Felsen kurz unter der Wasseroberfläche, aber es gibt an einigen Stellen Leitern von Stegen aus. Geschäfte, diverse Restaurants (Kingfisher Taverna war excellent) und eine fantastische Bäckerei (Sunfresh Bakery) sind fußläufig gut zu erreichen, ein Auto ist deshalb nicht zwingend erforderlich. Der Kontakt mit Christine mit Fragen zur Buchung und zur Wohnung hat gut und zügig funktioniert. Wir haben den Aufenthalt sehr genossen und werden sicher wieder kommen.

Great venue and great host!

The apartment is very spacious and very well equipped - it really feels like home away and it has everything you may need - first aid kit, cooking utensils, sewing kits, smart TV, decent selection of books and DVDs... - everything is there. The king size bed was very comfortable. Special bonus is the huge terrace with sunbeds, grill and outdoor shower, where you can enjoy your breakfast or local wine during sunsets over the sea, or watching the stars. The apartment even has also a second small balcony with lighthouse view. The location is just perfect - perfectly quiet neighborhood, 2 minutes walk from the Lighthouse beach, 4 minutes walk from the closest bakery and bus stop, and 5 minutes walk from the Kings Avenue Mall with a great supermarket (good choice of local wines, fruits and vegetables). It was a real pleasure to communicate with Christine, our host, who was really very helpful and even provided a solution for our luggage on the final day of our holidays. We will definitely gladly stay in this apartment again :)

Great location

Set exactly where we knew it was great location for beach bars harbour etc2 bed property with great huge balcony & uninterrupted views.Aspects of the property could do with some TLC although it did have everything you need.Not so ideal if the weather is wet & dark.. but that I know is rare in Cyprus so took that into consideration.New duvets, pillows, bed linen & towels are a must for 2025 season .Overall a pleasant stay & in summer outdoor balcony space amazing.

Ideally placed holiday apartment.

I can understand why this apartment is very popular as it ideally placed for shops, walks to Paphos Harbour and has an idyllic outlook both at the front and rear of the apartment. It is very well equipped and the beds were very comfortable. We were a bit unfortunate with the weather with some days being cold and wet and the excellent tv package was very much appreciated. I would love to return some day to the apartment but I know it will be difficult because of its popularity.

Great location and fantastic views

Great well equipped apartment, located in a quiet residential block away tucked away behind Tomb Of The Kings Road. A short easy walk down to the beach and local bars, shops and restaurants. Although a bit dated in decor, it was very well equipped, everything worked well and there was all you need to have a great holiday. We only used the main bed, which was very comfortable and had a brand new mattress. TV had hundreds of channels from all around the world and the internet was a good speed as well. Communication from the owner and agent was excellent. Only slight gripe was that it was a bit tricky to get the shower temperature right, as it is not a thermostatic mixer. Also, just have to be aware that it is located on the second floor with no lift, so unsuitable for anyone with limited mobility. All in all, we found it to be perfect for our needs and the price to be reasonable. Thank you.

Great communication with owner. Apartment 5 minutes away from bars/restaurants and 20 minutes walk to port and other bar restaurant area. Apartment had everything we needed and balcony is huge and gets sun all day and overlooks the sea.

This was our second stay in the apartment. It is spacious inside and out! The view of the sea is lovely from the huge terrace! The location is great for the harbour, beach and restaurants which are all nearby! We would stay again.

GREAT LOCATION / MASSIVE BALCONY

A very relaxing week away in this lovely apartment. It is a large property for an apartment, with a great massive south facing balancy with a lovely view. Like others have said 2 minutes walk away from the Tomb of the Kings Road and the same from the beach and great coastal path for those lovely strolls. We did have a car as we like to eat away from the resort however you don't need a car for this property. The only negitive I would say is like another customer has already stated, there was no cleaning materials, which for the price you might think they would be, we left a new micro fibre dish cloth, nearly a full bottle of washing up liquid, surface cleaner for the kitchen top, and full saop dispensor in the bathroom, a little touch like that make a lot of difference. Communications with the owner was great with the most detailed instructions to get to and how to operate items within the property. We would recommend this property and return.

Winter break

The communication with the owner and property manager were excellent. The arrival instructions were very clear as were the house instructions. The apartment itself was excellently situated being just a couple of minutes walk from the beach and the coastal boardwalk that stretches fo miles in both directions. The apartment itself was clean and well equipped with excellent information about all the appliances, heating and air conditioning. The outdoor space was fabulous with open views to the sea Overall we have no hesitation in recommending the apartment for a stay in a quieter area of Paphos but within walking distance of the beach, shops and restaurants.

A centrally based, relaxing stay.

We have never been into such a well equipped apartment. It was positioned ideally between the hotel and tourist areas. The view from the balcony was magnificent, although we had little time to spend there as we were arriving back from days out, as the sun was setting. The apartment made a wonderful base for the organised trips we undertook into the 'real' Cyprus. As we did not hire a car, there were plenty of areas and walks that we could enjoy. Not a criticism but we make a suggestion that it would been good have a cleaning product and cloths available. As we were in the apartment for 3 weeks, we needed to purchase materials to clean. Overall a lovely base to provide a memorable and happy holiday. Thank you Christine for your help, advice and provision of such a superb apartment for us!

We had an amazing time at christine's apartment. It us oerfecrly situated. Literally a 2 minute walk to Tomb of the Kings Road where there are loads od pubs and restaurants to choose from. The balcony area is massive and very private and the sea view is amazing. To be able to sit and watch the sunset every night was just perfect. Check in was so simple as christine gives you a full run down with pictures of what to do and where to go - this was veryy helpful as we arrived late in the evening and very tired!! Overall the place was just lovely and we will be back 🙂

Perfect!

Had a fantastic week in this lovely apartment. Everything was perfect. Powerful shower, comfy bed, loved the Nespresso machine (now we want one at home) short walk to loads of great restaurants, great gas barbecue and the icing on the cake at the end of every day was the amazing sun set. If you arrive late at night like we did, the 24 hour bakery a short walk away has everything you'll need to tide you over till you can go shopping. If it's good enough for the local police officers to have their coffee and cake there at 1am, it's good enough for us! First class service from Christine. Extremely helpful and the access info and directions were spot on. We will be back!

Perfect Apartment in a great location

Had a lovely 8 night stay at Christine’s beautiful apartment. The terrace is amazing and view’s of the sunset absolutely stunning. Everything in the apartment was perfect from the powerful shower (once we’d followed the instructions correctly 🙄) to the super comfy beds. Plenty of hangers (one of my bug bears) and kitchen fully equipped with everything you’d need. The Nespresso machine takes the small capsules if you wanted to bring them in but there is a wide selection at the Alpha Mega store on the road up to the old town. Christine’s information packs are comprehensive and invaluable; everything you need to know is covered right there and her communication impeccable. We are already looking at our diaries to see when we could get back. Don’t hesitate to book this lovely home from home.
