Welcome to the Gull’s Nest, a charming 2 bedroom maisonette, in the heart of the seaside town of Whitby. Stacked with character and ocean themed- a fantastic haven for families to explore the North Yorkshire coastline.
This spacious apartment comprises of a living area, kitchen and lounge/dining area. There is a large king size bedroom and twin room (which can be made into a king upon request), sleeping four guests comfortably. With a central location it’s easy to eat out at one of the many restaurants or pubs nearby, however for those who are a whizz in the kitchen, there’s all the modern amenities you would expect from a home from home: stove top, oven, microwave, kettle, fridge, dishwasher and coffee machine. The apartment’s bathroom is modern and includes a bath with shower over, and heated towel rail.
The Gull’s Nest was originally built in 1709, and was once used as a Sea Captain’s house, in fact it’s possible to visit Captain Cook’s memorial museum nearby. Whitby has so much to offer and it’s all right on your doorstep: Whitby Abbey, 199 steps, RNLI museum, and the gorgeous beaches of Sandsend and Whitby Beach. If you’re not tired out from a day of exploring, then there’s always the harbour to take a stroll around at the mouth of the River Esk. Whitby is one of the few places in the UK where you can watch the sun rise and set over the sea in the summer.
This apartment is pet friendly and welcomes 2 furry friends.
