Nestled on the edge of the New Forest, our cosy, stylish self-contained guest suite offers a tranquil retreat. With 219 square miles of National Park for walking and cycling The Old Boat Shed is in a truly unique location for nature lovers seeking serenity and adventure amidst Hampshire's lush landscapes.

Situated on the River Avon, guests can enjoy fishing or explore the waterways by canoe or paddleboard. We have otters, king fishers and huge numbers of birds resident on the river.

Our snug 1 bedroom property has been built to a high standard in 2024 and has direct access to the River Avon at the bottom of the front garden.

There is a shower, TV and small kitchenette with Nespesso machine. The flexible bedding arrangements mean it is suitable for couples or friends with twin beds or a Super King.

Parking is opposite with provision for 1 car.

The Old Boat Shed offers endless opportunities for outdoor enthusiasts and anyone looking to unwind in serene surroundings.

Our direct access to the Avon River provides exceptional fishing experiences in Lower Breamore. Anglers can expect to find Trout, Chub, Pike, Dace, Grayling, Barbel and Bream available. Please note you will need to purchase a day ticket from Ringwood Fisheries Association.

We have 2 pubs, The Horse & Groom and The Bat & Ball within a mile serving fantastic food and drink. The Woodgreen Community Shop is also within walking distance.

Just over a mile away lies the magnificent Breamore House, a stunning 16th-century estate. Explore its rich history with guided tours of the house and the fascinating Country Museum. Additionally, our retreat is the ideal stopover for guests attending weddings at this beautiful venue.

During the summer months, a short drive takes you to the New Forest Water Park, where you can enjoy a range of water activities, including wakeboarding, kayaking, and the thrilling inflatable aqua park.
